Shockingly, Europe does not appear to be biting on the "We'll keep all the benefits of the EU without the restrictions" plan. My advanced political reading is that literally everyone involved shit the bed with the lights on and has no idea what they are doing.

I think it was a pretty good move. Oladipo is a good player, but his poor shooting limited the lineups Orlando could use him in, especially next to Payton. Ibaka's not the player he was a couple years ago, but he still gives them badly-needed shooting and solid defense. An Ibaka/Gordon frontcourt can switch on almost everything and won't totally kill their spacing. In a vacuum I'm not crazy about Maker to the Bucks, but I think they'll be active in trades so I'm withholding judgement.

Pretty sure the only things I'll get this time around are a second copy of Victor Vran so my fiancee and I can play together and maybe Offworld Trading Company, even though I try to avoid giving Stardock money.

In addidtion to what Chaos suggested: Grand Theft Auto V is a hell of a thing and is worth playing. Diablo 3 is also great if you like that sort of game, and is one of the best couch co-op games on the system.

Possible, but the issue with that is Parker is under contract through 2018. I'm guessing that if he asked for a trade the Spurs would accommodate him as best they could, but it makes things a bit dicier.

More generally, who does everyone think will retire this year. I'm saying Duncan, Manu, Pierce, VC, and Andre Miller. If Manu and Dunc do retire, I could see Parker shutting it down as well.

I think the worst were the bad old days just before CD-ROMs became ubiquitous when games would come on dozens of floppies. Police Quest 4 came on 18 discs I think and took over an hour to install. Stellaris is pretty good, it's going to be great once there's a little more meat to it.
