I haven't been able to find a Fast & Furious thread on the new DVDVR board. So I guess I'll have to start one myself. Tony Jaa was announced as joining the cast Fast & Furious 7 as one of Jason Statham's characters accomplices. In addition to the already announced news that Ronda Rousey was joining the cast. Also good chance that Lucas Black and Bow Wow could end up in the movie in some capacity. I think that if Black and Bow Wow ended up in the movie it would be more along the lines of an after the credits scene with a bigger role in Fast 8.

They sure seem to be with the Cormier is going down to LHW prior to everyone of his fights but he continues to fight at HW. Can he realistically make 205 without totally becoming a zombie in the cage? He had kidney problems 5 years ago trying to get down to a similar weight for the olympics which was 5 years ago. So if he couldn't make the cut anymore half a decade ago, is it really that raelistic that he'll eventually make the cut a half decade later? If he really wanted to go to LHW he wouldn't be fighting Roy Nelson next.

This should be main eventing it's own card, not playing second fiddle to a GSP title fight. December FOX card is the best place to put this fight.

I think the fact that Ichiro will eventually get to 3000 hits when he didn't join MLB until he was 28 will be a bigger overall accomplishment.

Being a long time Ruthless Robbie fan I hope he gets this win. I don't think he would beat GSP if he got a title shot but at least he's willing to step in there with him unlike Rory who's playing the "we're teammates, we won't ever fight" BS. You dedicate everything about your life to be an MMA fighter and you're going to pass up the chance to be the #1 guy in the sport just because it complicates your traniing camp for that fight?

Vitor and Hendo are in different stages of their careers then when they fought the first time on the first Pride card in the US. Hendo was one of the top LHWs back then at the top of his game while Vitor was on the verge of going down to MW and working through a tough spot in his career. But the roles have reversed since then and Vitor is red hot right now while Dan is going through the twilight of his career with tons of injury problems. I think Vitor takes the rematch.

To be fair on releasing DU when they did is they wanted to release it in time for awards season so pushing it back into January would've been a bad move awards wise and box office wise also, it made more money as a #2 in late December then it would've as a #1 in early January.

I don't see how watching How I Met Your Mother would be a bad thing, the show is hilarious. I was a little reluctant to watch the show the first few seasons it was on but once I finally gave the show a chance I couldn't get enough of it.

Kendall Grove has been signed to Bellator. This is so when Tito appears in TNA he'll have his own stable of fighters and they'll all do the gravedigger skit when winning. I can't wait till Bellator/TNA signs Tiki next.

I think they need to spend plenty of time on Lucky in NY and Capone in Chicago for this upcoming season instead of it all being about AC. We can't be that too far away from when Capone becomes the #1 guy in Chicago.

Oh yeah I totally saw CCH being announced but it was a few months ago and I totally blanked on it. I think she's playing basically the district attorney(or whatever they're calling the prosecutor).

I haven't heard much news about the upcoming season, any new actors joining the show? I know that Donal Logue will be having a bigger role then he had last season but that was pretty much a given. I assume there'll be a few characters that are prison guards/fellow inmates of Tara/Clay in their respective incarcerations.

Shogun's record in UFC is now 5-6, Wandy at 5-7 is the only other high profile UFC fighter with that bad of a record in the comopany that I can think of.

With FX having successful shows like Sons of Anarchy, Justified and the like already on FX it didn't leave that many good nights to air TUF on, that's why TUF got the Friday night timeslots when they first moved to FX, not because they were purposely trying to bury it. Most of the bigger free cards(not counting the big FOX cards) appear they'll be airing on FS1 while some smaller cards will air on FS2 is the my viewpoint of things.

Cardinals are calling Kolten Wong up tomorrow, wonder this affects things concerning David Freese. Since if they give Wong any significant playing time it means that Matt Carpenter would be shifting to 3B.

Any chane that Wong Kar Wai's The Grandmaster will actually get a reasonably decent wide release in the US, meaning will I be able to go see this movie without having to trek 45 minutes across town to see it?

So I wonder if that means he's only got 1 or 2 fights with Bellator before he becomes an unrestricted free agent? in other words he only agreed to return to Bellator to fight Chandler, no one else.
