    When I was in the Army, I knew this Samoan dude who ended up with two broken arms from brawling with about a dozen German skinheads(True story) . After less then a week, he couldn't bear the casts anymore. His solution wasn't nearly as elegant as the Rock's. He simply started wailing on a locker with both arms until they broke off . Must be an Islander thing.

    Electric Boogaloo is worth going out of your way to watch. It is fairly typical of the rise-and-fall-type of story, but a lot of great characters and you'll probably have a few "Oh shit, I really need to see that movie!" moments.

    There are a ton of Krimis/Spaghetti Westerns that beg to differ. Not that I would put many of them above that collaboration, but Klaus did plenty of good things that didn't include Werner.

    Won't get around to watching this until Monday night, but just reading the Connor part had me in tears. Nice job.

    He's a supporting actor...the hero's friend, the good guy who loses the girl....that's a nice little spot for him.

    You can watch the whole thing on their website. I think they posted them the day after they aired, so you could have more or less followed it in real time. So yeah, fuck cable.

    So I just watched the 2014 RRHF inductions, and besides the E Street Band getting their rightful due, Darill Halls speech rocked. And I didn't have any complaints KISS LOVE GUN BITCH!!!!

    Agreed. They should have a wing that is dedicated to promos/vignettes/video packages. That is, if they ever actually build a HOF.

    American Sniper and Inherent Vice are both showing 2015 on RT. Are either of these eligible?

    I would say no because I don't think Bronson ever sailed as high, at least not critically, as Neeson. They could both be seen to be cashing checks at this point, But Bronson really never had any better options. Neeson is Nic Cage minus the style.

    I know it is a little late in the process to be pimping films, but what the hell. Tim's Vermeer : I don't even know what to say about this. It is presented in the doc that human beings can actually do these sorts of things. Well, yeah, maybe human beings with ultra-focus and drive, and the ability to develop previously unknown, highly specialized skills in short time periods. People like Tim Jenison. Makes me feel like a special idiot for struggling to put together a brake for my bike. Jenison's rarefied abilities do not make his achievement any less remarkable. And learning Johannes Vermeer may have been as much a technician as an artist, does not make him any less an Old Master. Great doc.
