WrestleMania XXXVIII - 4/2 & 4/3/2022

This SO makes me want Kingston/Punk II and for Kingston to kick the shit out of Punk, just saying, lol. -

2 is just WAYYYYY over the top. -
I agree 100%, unsure of what Punk was making but I'd be of the belief that Cody,Omega,Bucks should all be making similar amounts. If Cody wanted more than that, that's 100% on him. It's a grey area that I'd imagine we'll never find out the true details of. I'll enjoy the Cody WWE run, then he'll end up back in AEW either as a huge face with a "Star coming home" angle, or the "I main evented Mania"(hoping he does so during his new tenure there) mega heel angle. Either way it'll be fun to watch.

I hadn't seen that at all, lol. I'll admit I like designs 1 and 3. -
I really can't wrap my head around the Cody hate. Say what you will about the recent stuff, but the man was instrumental in what AEW is and I agree with a misstep to let him go.

Belair/Lynch, Rollins/Rhodes and Austin/Owens was one of the best three match stretches in recent Mania memory. Flair/Rousey was just there for me, but it wasn't bad. I'm not as down on Rhodes as a lot of people here, so for me, seeing him show up at mania gave me a WCW/WWF feel during the Monday Night Wars when you had a really big debut. Surreal moment and definitely awesome. WWE is going to capitalize on the neck tattoo too, as it's the graphic that showed up when he walked out and i can definitely see it plastered all over every piece of Cody merch. -
Did Walter kick someone's puppy or something? What the hell? I'm waiting for them to tell him he can't use chops anymore.
-
Did they change Walter(I refuse to acknowledge him as Gunther) and Imperiums theme music?

Love this idea. My guys- Wardlow(This dude is over huge), Daniel Garcia, DB, Kingston, FTR Honorable Mentions: House of Black, Powerhouse Hobbs, Serena Deeb, Shida Note: Hangman is one of "my guys", he low key has some of the best matches on the show, but he's in a holding pattern because of his association with...... Not my Guys-Adam Cole. Everyone else I don't have an issue with. This one is weird for me because I was a mild fan of him in NXT and found him very inoffensive early on in his AEW run, but I just don't get the need for him to be on top of the card again after losing clean to Hangman and AEW not really on the rematch train so quick.

Am I the only one hoping upon hope that this happens? haha.

I sort of feel with the whole JAS "We beat up pro wrestlers", that when Eddie, Santana and Ortiz come back to battle, are outnumbered, that Moxley and Danielson are going to even up the odds. -
SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME - 12/15/2021
StuntmanCrowley replied to Dolfan in NYC's topic in "COMIC BOOK" MOVIES & TV
I just saw this with my daughter and wow, it was a bit heavier hitting than I had anticipated, but really, really enjoyable. Andrew Garfield was the MVP of the movie for me....that gut punch of catharsis when he saved MJ was something else and definitely a reaction I haven't had watching a movie in a long time. -

Is it just me, or does it seem like Lee while still being awesome, is still working himself back into shape after all of the heart and health issues? He seems a step or two slower in AEW than in NXT. -
I'll be honest, I've become less and less invested in Edge since his return and while I know the match at Mania will deliver, I just find him absolutely lame as hell currently. I can't put my finger on why, but for me it's just not clicking. I hope AJ goes over at Mania.

Marvel Marvel TV (2022)
StuntmanCrowley replied to Dolfan in NYC's topic in "COMIC BOOK" MOVIES & TV
Just watched the Ms. Marvel trailer and let me tell you, I cannot wait to watch this with my daughter. -
That's pretty sad in it's own right, but like Vader, im trying to think it's not from malice, but....
-
Is Chyna ever going to get in on her own, or do they think that having her inducted as "part of DX" is enough?

This one hits and hits hard. Razor was one of my favorites as a little kid and I got to meet him at the Spectrum in Philly(definitely showing my age on that venue). Loved his entire career and moreso his hard work towards his sobriety. Like someone said, his heart was most likely in bad shape due to the years of hard partying but im so happy he got his swan song and was able to have quality years added to his life because of the work he put in. He earned every second of those years. -
He's just waiting for someone to be his Katie Couric...... (I really hope at least ONE person gets that or im going to feel out to dry, lol)

Is this guy serious? Wow.

I was at the Final Battle 2003 show there and it was a damn experience. It was All Japan v ROH essentially. Homicide/Kojima, Mutoh/Arashi v Daniels/Maff, Styles/Kaz Hayashi and CM Punk/Cabana against Honma/Miyamoto. Probably one of the greatest wrestling shows I ever went to. -

Same here with me, only at an Armory in Northeast Philadelphia. -

My personal endorsement of how good the MJF/Punk match was.....as soon as it was finished, I went on Pro Wrestling Tees and ordered the t-shirt.
