It was scary seeing how shaken up the commentary team was. I actually felt a little better when they played the clip again a minute later because I don't think they would have gone back to it if Enzo wasn't at least responsive.

I remember a lot of video stores having "Special Interest" sections that were about 8 feet of workout tapes, wrestling PPVs, foreign films, and Foxy Boxing. There'd be Body By Jake next to Starrcade next to The 400 Blows. It was usually right next to where the partition for the porn room started.

I wouldn't be shocked if Kevin Smith ends up directing the Flash. WB apparently loved the episode of the Flash series he directed, and he had a pitch meeting with them for a secret project last week. Outside of a DCU movie, the only other thing I could see them doing with him is adapting one of his comics for an animated release.

Is there an era in WWE where Rusev's act doesn't inevitably lead to him being fed to someone or having his balls cut off? Would he have fared better in 70s or 80s JCP?

It's really strange. They could've layed it out in a way that made Askua look badass and Eva look resilient and pugnacious. Eva should've just gotten destroyed but kept going until she could use Nia as interference for the cutoffs. Give Eva a short heat segment, Askua comes back and chokes her out. Do it in like 8 minutes. I have no idea how long it went but it was too long.

If I remember correctly they weren't even initially involved with the show. It was originally pitched as a Pokemon-style kids adventure show set 100 years in the future with Sons of Batman-type adolescents.

Triple H got where he is by doing simple stuff to impress Vince that no one else was doing like showing up for all of the production meetings and inserting himself into the process. He probably orchestrated a big push and a considerable office job for himself before he even got involved with Stephanie. As far as their relationship, the only person that truly knows how much of it is personal and how much of it is business is Hunter. -
GFW had a sponsorship deal with the film makers. They promoted it at all their show(s).

I liked how much restraint they showed by not making constant references to BTAS. When they did it was really neat stuff like showing Bane in the nursing home.

He apparently flopped on his face and was bleeding, then couldn't make it to the bathroom by himself to get cleaned up. It was one thing when he was just screwing things up for himself with WWE, but now he's hurting Charlotte.

I saw Oldboy first, and Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is a let down comparatively. Lady Vengeance is very good. They aren't really sequels, but sort of a larger piece so I'd count them. Another one that occurred to me was never being able to sit through more than 20 minutes of Jurassic Park, but then going to see The Lost World in a theater and loving it because I'm a huge Goldblum mark. I wore out the LW VHS (with holographic dinosaur cover!), but I don't think I saw all of Jurassic Park until the rerelease a couple of years ago.
