  1. I've kinda decided I want them to make the playoffs now so I can attend the final 2 playoff games in Vancouver for the next 5 years or so.
  2. I think this is the first Wyatt storyline that I've been invested since very early on. It seems obvious that eventually Orton is going to RKO Bray but they've done such a good job with teasing it that the fans going nuts at any hint of the RKO. It's elevated everyone involved and I think Luke will continue to play a big part in the storyline.
  3. True but plans have supposedly changed a number of times already. I think the most logical choice for a Rumble winner is Brock because of the news that he's booked on all these RAW's but isn't booked on Fastlane. That would suggest he's winning the Rumble and Goldberg is winning the title at Fastlane. I'd do that, have Goldberg go over again and then feed Goldberg to Strowman.
  4. I'm going with Samoa Joe costing Cena the match and facing him at Mania in a grudge match. Vince holds off on giving Cena that big title win until SummerSlam when they need a bigger main event. My Rumble pick is Undertaker. They can do a few weeks of teases where we don't know which champ he's going to go after. It'll create more interest in the Elimination Chamber and Fastlane because people will be coming up with a ton of different scenarios.
  5. Do you guys know of any good hockey podcasts? I'm down to basically MvsW for hockey right now and they barely ever do a show.
  6. Harper vs Orton was so good. Orton doing a couple of jobs the last few weeks helped because I actually bought that he might lose again. Interested to see where they go with Harper from here. I also like Orton mixing it up lately adding in some extra suplexes here and there. I felt kinda sad for Mickie James. Nobody in the crowd seemed to care or remember who she was. And her delivery was awful. The AJ vs Cena showdown was very good. Yeah, Cena cut him down pretty good but that'll just serve to make the fans that much more passionate on Sunday. The outcome is in serious doubt now.
  7. Yeah. I'm hoping that we get an angle on Inside the NBA with Big Show destroying the set.
  8. They've done a really good job with the Rumble itself. Lots of stars and potential winners involved. The rest of the card is pretty strong as well.
  9. No offense to either woman but it would suck if Alexa vs Nikki is the Mania direction and Becky gets left out.
  10. Lawler wearing his old 90's outfit was the most offensive thing about that segment.
  11. Actually thought RAW was pretty good this week. Helps to start strong and finish strong.
  12. Omega on Jericho's podcast this week was really insightful. It's recorded before the Tokyo Dome but you get some really honest insight into what he's trying to do with his career. He's always come across as a genuinely good guy so I'm pleased that things seem to be working out for him.
  13. Speaking of Mania plans, it's amazing how much they've dropped the ball with the HHH-Rollins storyline over the past few months given that it's HHH's storyline. It's penciled in as a big match for Mania but it feels more like that year when HHH faced Sheamus. I don't think it'll be as flat as HHH vs Roman was but I can't see any way for them to really heat up the feud. Seth cut all those promos about tearing down the machine and how he was going to do all of these things to force HHH out of hiding but they've had him accomplish none of it. They even dropped the whole "Was Stephanie in on it?" aspect and had her go back to being a heel.
  14. I've been digging 205 Live the last few weeks but this week was pretty dull. I still think they need to be doing more six man tags to get people on the show and show off their trademark spots.
  15. Their personalities were endearing for people who followed their journey in NXT but to a fresh audience, they come off very lame in promos. That being said, they can overcome it in the ring. Nobody cared about them coming out but the match was strong and by the end of it, they had the crowd. A lot of the credit for that goes to Orton and Wyatt but Alpha looked like they belonged in there with them.
  16. Some more hilarity from Bobby Heenan and his telephone. I love Gorilla's constant digs at Miss Betty.
  17. Very entertaining show. Corbin's finally starting to blend his Talking Smack persona with his Smackdown persona. They've done a very good job this year of building up real potential Royal Rumble winners. They've thrown out enough different potential WrestleMania scenarios that you could see it going a number of ways.

  19. I hope they find a way to get Kota Ibushi to do a one off match against Neville at some point. Maybe even do it on an NXT Takeover show where you know the audience will be familiar with Ibushi.
  20. Bliss is good at the little character things but there is very little evidence to support her being good at the big thing and that's wrestling. She's still very green.
  21. Excellent Main Event! They protected Corbin well but he totally stepped up as well. The tag team match was very good too. Big surprise with the title change. I hope they're not rushing the Wyatts breakup. Alexa and Becky are hopefully done wrestling each other because they have zero chemistry and the match tonight was really bad.
  22. She was never the same after coming back to WCW. She was basically just a generic "USA" face and the Savage & Russo stuff was all bad. Madusa in the 80's and early 90's had a cool vibe to her. I thought she added a lot to Rick Rude in WCW too.
