  1. Oh yeah, my entire build is focused on only 2 things: Making my ship as good as possible while keeping my speed fast, and making scanning and resource gathering as easy as possible. Geology, Zoology, and Botany are fun skills for that sort of build. As is surveying really, which was weirdly the first thing I maxed. Now most of my skills for gathering info are going into Astrophysics and Scanning. Of course, that is being delayed. Now that I can access level 4 science perks, Aneutronic Fusion is the truth. I got to Piloting 4 today and bought a 50,000 credit rank C reactor. My reactor power is now high enough I can keep 12 in engines and shields and still move around 6 points into my weaponry or Grav. The science tree is incredible for my character, and I haven’t done nearly enough doing research stuff. Or even made an outpost yet. Need to look into the proper means to do that stuff now. And also make up my mind on my ship weaponry direction. EM seems obvious, but need to look at other plays.
  2. Also, anyone you hire permanently works for you can just go to unassigned and return to their place you recruited them or to new homes. The game also tells you their location in the crew menu. Recruiting people isn’t a problem.
  3. Captain Nova’s journeys have gone well, though she’s mainly focused on two things now: Research (cause duh, that’s the shit she was born for) and turning the Frontier into the finest ship in space. She’s became an incredibly talented pilot, and is oh so close to getting her ability to pilot C class ships. She also completely finished her scan of the Sol system, and is selling the data to cover more ship upgrades She will pay back her mortgage…. At some point. Really the 500 dollar payments aren’t bad. And sending back money to her parents has been more then worth it, mom and pop are sweet and keep doing tons of things to support me…. Including givingn me some absurd stuff. Thanks dad on your ability to play cards. God bless a Straight Flush. On a more meta sense, I’m level 23, have taken no Combat perks, only invested in Stealth and Persuasion in the Physical/Social circle. I’m almost up to tier 4 perks in Science, and oh boy that Reactor boost perk thing is calling for me. I’m already boosted my Engines, Shields, Targeting, and general Piloting. The Space Combat is so my jam in this game.
  4. Welp. The Vanguard questline is the most fun I've had playing a Bethesda game in..... Ever, I think? I haven't felt the way this quest has made me feel about a game in, lets say, 11 years. You can do the math.
  5. Haven’t had much time to play these last few days, but my Professor (Who in my head is a former accomplished member of society who purchased a fancy dream home and was sending money back to her parents before a school project went wrong, leading to 3 kids being eaten by wildlife. She was cleared of wrong doing, officially, but lost her job, has no aspirations of replacing it, and also the parents of those involved maaaaay have put a large bounty on her head. Basically, fun color for my Kid Stuff, Dream House, Wanted playthrough). Having a blast. Finished the first big mission for the Vanguard and oh boy is it a doozie. Highly recommend.
  6. Was already 95% sure I was gonna love this game. And I do. Biggest problem I’ve got with it is I can’t play it a little at a time. I’ve have prep to play it, because I know I’ll be in for hours. Feels more like planning around a DND campaign then a video game. Thought I’d share the characters I’ve been using. I was 20 hours into play though 1 when I decided I had made some decisions assuming things were going one direction but realized they were not going the way I hoped. Yes, that’s a romance thing. So some pictures of the characters I’ve been running. My first character: The Tiefling Bard known only as Nowhere And the character who basically took over for her: The Gnomish Bard Tessa The fact you can see we’re the two dyes meet to go into purple/pink is so amazing I had to keep it. Also, some tips: Speak with Animals is an amazing spell to learn: You can cast it as a ritual 1st thing after a long rest and it lasts till your next long rest. And as far as I can tell: every single animal in the game has dialogue, some even just taking you to loot. Similarly, Disguise Self got a buff: there are no saves to recognize you. This is huge for a lot of reasons. Last night, if you kill someone they will not be willing to give you information if you use the Speak with Dead spell…. But if you cast Disguise Self BEFORE casting Speak with Dead? They are none the wiser.
  7. Assuming you aren't joking, the AEW title that got vacated.
  8. Punk is very clearly being positioned as a tweener, and that promo made it obvious. He's a babyface in Chicago because of course he's a babyface in Chicago. Crowds are going to react to him however they want and he will wrestle in response to that reaction.
  9. You are taking seriously a promo designed specifically to piss off people that are big Elite heads. Take a deep breath and re-evaluate.
  10. That update was my final stray to fully uninstall GTAV. I'd still jump in occasionally, but that was my full on "I'm done" update. Over Rockstars bullshit.
  11. As a counter to this: I’ve done the early access “campaign” to completion 4 or 5 times and have had zero of these issues, even when I was on my old shitty laptop that was barely capable of playing it. No issues with the camera, nothing close to the get stuck in environment or can’t see what’s attacking me problem. Not sure why our experiences vary so much. Game runs like a dream on my current rig.
  12. I would just like to note that whoever decided that Baldurs Gate 3 and Starfield, probably the 2 best looking RPG's of the last decade, should come out on the SAME FUCKING DAY is a monster. Those are both multiple hundred hour games. Why would you do this to me?
  13. Joe and Punk in the same ring for the first time since 05. Gonna be fucking weird, but I’m here for it.
  14. I will note that while there is very little evidence in the comics, I wouldn't use that as a sign that they were not intending that in the movie. Hell, a lot of stuff in this movie not only goes against comic lore, it feels like it's flipping it the bird (I'm looking specifically at them highlighting how awesome Mayday is, as well as the central premise of the movie being Miles rejecting the core idea that Spider-Man is supposed to be miserable) I personally took it that she's an ally as she relates to it and is, you know, also just not a shitty person, but I love the interpretation of her as Trans as well.
  15. I need to absorb a bit to properly dissect this and decide how I rank it to the 1st one. The fact it’s up for debate tells you how much I loved it. EDIT: Okay, let's do this one last time, from the beginning. (Had to do it)
  16. I mean no offense to Jimmy Butler, who I love, but Caleb Martin got screwed on the Eastern Conference MVP award. Unreal series from a player nobody expected anything from.
  17. First screenings were yesterday, and the sheer number of big name reporters that are saying "I'm shocked to report this is better then the first one" is terrifying to me. I've been trying to keep my expectations low, accepting it's likely not gonna surpass what was my favorite movie going experience of all time. There is no way this movie is actually better. It can't be because that's not possible.
  18. Every decade or so there is a player who changes how the NBA is played going forward through there influence, last one being Curry. Jokic is that guy. I think the most terrifying thing about Jokic is young future centers are going to grow up idolizing his game and wanting to do that, and we will get an athletic freak 7 footer who averages 9 assists a game, and the NBA will never have an answer for them. Not saying what Jokic is doing now in and of itself isn’t incredible. He’s the best player in the world, and I don’t think it’s close. I hope the Nuggets win a title because god he’s a joy to watch.
  19. Ha, deleting most of the post, and ignoring the counter point. I'll ask point blank: Why can't Jey/Roman be a non title match and you make *gasp* a SECOND big star on this show? Until you answer that, you are basically just saying "I don't actually have a counter point" in big bold letters without typing them.
  20. Then you would have succeeded in paying of your 3 year storyline by not making anybody a big star, and just a footnote in history everyone will have forgotten about 18 months later. You would have stalled the growth of everyone else in the company for almost half a decade for no payoff.
  21. Okay, since this has to be explained to you. WWF in the 80's was a babyface territory. Hell, it was a babyface territory for it's entire existence. The belts history for literally it's entire run before 1989 was babyfaces with long title reigns and then a brief run with a heel to transition to a new babyface (With the exception of Graham). Hogan losing was in an era that the WWF wasn't confident a heel champion could even draw nationally. Using that as an example that you don't need to find a successor is moronic. If they are running this "Roman holding our major titles for literally years as a HEEL" story, the payoff has to involve making whoever finally takes the belt off him a star. The WWE has needed a top babyface since Cena left. Cody was lined up to be that, even if I personally don't care for Cody. The only justifiable reason to not have him win the belt tonight was if they think they have a good scenario to put someone else in that position in the future, and honest to god, I don't think it's going to be happening. And, once more: YOU CAN RUN ROMAN/JEY WITHOUT THE TITLE. You keep justifying the decision as if you can only run that match and make it be a big deal if it's for the belt.
  22. Man, I don't even like AEW, but describing Darby Allin as a "midcard tag team guy" is a really shitty characterization. Say what you will about Jungle Boy, but Darby has been one of there best talents.
  23. You literally responded to me 2 posts lower after you said you were done, and I didn't quote you. Try again.
  24. Quite simply, I can come up with zero other reason for why this company didn't chose this moment to make a superstar. They aren't going to get another chance like this. And, once more, you still haven't clarified once why they couldn't do the Roman/Jey thing and have it be non-title. Jey Uso, good wrestler, been great in this role, will never be the guy who you can trot out as the face of the company. If you are ending a 3 year title reign, and you aren't getting that in the payoff, what were you even fucking doing?
  25. One has a chance to do the thing WWE dreams of constantly (Pulling in the non-wrestling fans) and the other doesn't. Jey Uso is a good wrestler, but he's also not someone anyone outside of wrestling circles has ever heard of. It's not complicated.
