The finishing stretch to the main event was fun, but the prologue was so bad. I think I know why Roman matches are so bad. A) Roman thinks he has a Hogan-esque connection with the crowd and thinks any facial expression will have an effect on the crowd -- He's absolutely wrong on that and I wonder if this coached into him or he's doing it as "part of his character" but it comes across disingenuous and desperate and B) his selling as always is just terrible. Hell, even his offense looks dumb most of the time (the guillotine, especially in this match). except for maybe the spike / spear. That was fun. Thought Women's MITB was better. Did Logan Paul die? Was that a shoot Spanish Fly?

I'm fine with the Rockets moves as long as our two rookies and new free agents understand that they are here to help and we are in no way asking for them to be the "Man" here. It's Jalen Green's time to grow up and be the "Man." And Sengun to be the baby Jokic we all think he can be. I think these moves are here to complement Green and Sengun. If at any point FVV or Dillon Brooks think they are Michael Jordan or anything this season we're losing 50+ games. I wish we had a vertical lob threat. Having just watched the Yota Tsuji v. Sanada match from Dominion, I'm literally shaking right now about we have been robbed of a certified ~DEANGASM over Tsuji. He's a beautiful man.

Lawful Jr and I watched the finals and holy shit Titan is fucking amazing. Loved the story being that he was one step ahead until he just wasn’t. Wato’s finisher is pretty great and so is his high vertical German, so I wasn’t disappointed. They earned it. Wato has so desperately improved so much over such a short time. Looks like he slimmed down a bit (at least in the face) and the hair is less atrocious. The difference between his render for the match announcement and what he looks like now in the ring is pretty staggering. I’m happy for him and show me more Titan matches because that guy has a awesome. Titan was at the one Arena Mexico show I went to many moons ago and it’s amazing to see him now. Happy for him too!
