  1. Got thru the final two last night. I liked it. D'Onfrio did a stupendous job as Kingpin. Those horns were lame. You might put an eye out.
  2. Watched episodes 10 & 11 last night. Can't wait for the last two!
  3. I don't remember the ring showing up on Eddie's finger, and didn't hear any talk about it. BUT, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Also, Wiki'd Cosnet and he's Hugh Grant's cousin? Learned something new today.
  4. Well, they all DO have red on their head, so they have that connection going.
  5. Regarding Cole's lawsuit: http://www.wwe.com/videos/playlists/raw-june-15-2015-exclusives
  6. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12995316/adrian-peterson-rejoins-minnesota-Vikings The 2012 NFL MVP will join the Vikings for organized team activities on Tuesday, ending an absence from the team that stretched nearly nine months, back to when Peterson was indicted on Sept. 12 for injuring his child while disciplining him with a switch. "I'm returning because I want to. I'm a part of this football team and I owe it to the guys I play with and to our coaches," Peterson told ESPN. "I was planning on coming in this week, and I'm looking forward to getting back on the field. It's what I love to do."
  7. Actually, as much as I loathe Leno, I would dig just one more "What's My Beef?" Short and sweet.
  8. But, see, if Barry did wind up changing the past that black hole never would have existed. Also, no one took into account that Thawn wasn't worried about the world ending, because I it had, what would he be looking forward to getting back to? Did they think he was KNOWINGLY going to end he word, then jump thru the wormhole into his future to come into nothing? (Which would have been a nice homage to this: (the top part)
  9. Yeah, I loved Murray's face during the interview. He was definitely holding it back. I'll be 47 in four days. I watched the very first Late Night show in high school and was tired as hell the next day, (much like this morning), and will be the same tomorrow. I wouldn't miss it for the world. I actually made my wife sit thru two hours of YouTube'd Dave stuff Friday night ramping up for this week Thank you, Dave, for all the joy you have brought to this man's heart. (My Mom didn't like that you kept me up that late, tho.)
  10. "Rip Hunter would be proud." Yes.
  11. Sweet. https://youtu.be/8XE_jH2eQl4
  12. The wife and I were on vacation in the Twin Cities Friday and found a local establishment to take in the Wild/Hawks game. Got there 10 minutes before it was supposed to start. 8:30 comes and goes and still no Wild. Other patrons are starting to complain. I tell them that NBC has been messing up home game starting times all over, but this night took the cake. They right away had a BREAKING NEWS scroll that said the Wild would be on right before the puck drops. The cut in 1:15 into the first period. People are pissed. Ten minutes later, they switch back to Tampa/Montreal and are showing on the bottom that it's now on (whatever channel it switched to). So now, the poor manager of this very busy place is dealing with a ton of people wanting their hockey. She does find it within two minutes, all is good. THEN, when Tampa/MTL is done, they switch the game back AGAIN to MSNBC, and this poor girl had to scramble AGAIN to switch all the TV's in the place back. Is anyone else experiencing this kind of crap? NBC has just been dropping the ball this year. Oh, and could they get Mike Emrick to stop calling Mikael Granlund Michael Gronlund please?
  13. http://www.dailynorseman.com/2015/4/16/8431627/adrian-peterson-will-be-reinstated-tomorrow The NFL has announced that running back Adrian Peterson will be fully reinstated tomorrow. The NFL has also stated that any further violation of the the Personal Conduct Policy could result in further suspension or banishment from the NFL. Here is a transcript of the full press release. Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings was advised today that effective tomorrow he is reinstated as an active NFL player and may participate in all scheduled activities with the Vikings. In a letter from Commissioner Roger Goodell, Peterson was informed that he is expected to fulfill his remaining obligations to the authorities in Minnesota and Texas, as well as the additional commitments Peterson made during his April 7 meeting with the commissioner regarding maintaining an ongoing program of counseling and treatment as recommended by medical advisors. Beyond the requirement to comply with his court obligations and plan of counseling, Peterson was reminded that his continuing participation in the NFL depends on his avoidance of any further conduct that violates the Personal Conduct Policy or other NFL policies. Any further violation of the Personal Conduct Policy by Peterson would result in additional discipline, which could include suspension without pay or banishment from the NFL. Peterson was suspended without pay last November 18 for the remainder of the 2014 NFL season for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy in an incident of abusive discipline that he inflicted on his four-year-old son last May. Peterson pled no contest on November 4 in state court in Montgomery County, Texas to reckless assault of the child. As Ian Rappaport points out on twitter, the NFL is still appealing the decision that over-turned his suspension in the first place. That ruling won't come until October, but will decide how many game checks Peterson could lose over the suspension.
  14. I blame our lack of a professional lighting company. I'll have you know I've ran lights for many a band since 1989. Now, I don't actually OWN any lights any more, but.......... So this was all your fault. Busted.

  16. I like that Chicago Sunroof is now part of the urban dictionary. Honestly, this episode dragged on and on, with all the yammering and scamming, and by the end, both my wife and I were tired of it and don't see us following this show any more. We say that now, but after the season break, we might check out the premiere and see where they are heading, but if it's all about Saul yapping incessantly, we're done. Not that we didn't enjoy the ride up to now, tho!
  17. Axel's not going anywhere. WWE handpicked him to train with the Rock and Brock when they made their comebacks in 2011/2012. That's a little respect. It was just him getting tongue-tied during his "Genesis Of McGillicutty" promo that held him back. Speaking of Hennig/Brock, a couple weeks back, a drummer that I've known for a long time was talking about how "back in our day", Curt and Brock would show up to their gigs in the Twin Cities, so their families have been friends for a long time. Just found out on Joe's Wiki page he named his son Brock.
  18. I had saw on Eobard Thawne's wiki page yesterday it said "Maternal forefather" to Impulse. I read it as "Dad". My bad. Now, in three episodes, we have "All-Star Team Up". Who do we all have for teaming up? Flash, Arrow, Firestorm and who else? Do they bring in someone else from Arrow? Black Canary? Does my forecast for Cisco/Vibe come true? Also, with the next show being titled "Rogue Time", who do you think they will all include? Weather Wizard, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Pied Piper and Reverse Flash, or maybe with the trip back in time, they hold off Thawne's reveal for a while.
  19. He better not be. Who's going to give the supervillains stupid names then? THINK OF THE CHILDREN! "Weather Wizard. I've been waiting since day one to use that one." LOVED it. I'm pretty sure Cisco isn't going to die this time around. Honestly, I thought when he asked to see if she could keep Wells out of STAR in the morning that he was going to discover the super-secret Reverse-Flash cave. Also, Wells didn't just reveal himself to Cisco. He knew that he wouldn't be able to explain his empty wheelchair, either, so he had basically reached the point where it was no more hiding time. I can deal without Barry kissing Iris or reaveling himself to her. She kinda irritates me. Linda is a bit more fun. Quit messing around on her. Oh, and Thawn is father to Impulse. Maybe he shows up to thwart Daddy and help Barry.
  20. Well, I'm assuming Harris does that again, or do we get a ST:TNG where dejavu kicks in, (minus the poker game and Kelsey Grammer cameo), and Cicso eventually figures out what might happen, and with one of his toys, internalizes RF's vibrations?
  21. Bets on Cisco isn't dead, but that Thawne's vibrating hand activated Ramone's dormant meta-gene, and we get a rainbow-clad, shades-wearing Vibe instead? One can only hope.
  22. I liked everything up until right after Weekend Update. The Thor skit/party guy actually had me cringe. Do you really think Marvel liked seeing that? Dug the four Hemsworth brothers opener, and thought this was Jost and &che's best Update since they started together. I like that they are starting to loosen up and interact in what seems like a natural setting, not having everything/joke scripted.
  23. The MN Twins warming up on their second day of spring training. http://youtu.be/6ZEMzoBj970 Yeah, yeah, bring on "They suck so much, they're switching sports!" crap. I just liked it.
