  1. https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2019/6/27/18761127/wwe-announces-paul-heyman-eric-bischoff-executive-directors-raw-smackdown WWE officially announces Paul Heyman & Eric Bischoff Executive Directors of Raw & SmackDown In an announcement that seemingly came out of nowhere, WWE has appointed former ECW founder Paul Heyman and ex-WCW President Eric Bischoff executive directors of Raw and SmackDown respectively. Sports Illustrated was the first to break the news. WWE.com would later confirm SI’s original report. What about Dixie Carter?!?!?!?!?!
  2. The Skinny Jeans have returned to save us all!!!!
  3. *fanyboy swoon* Only because Blue Devil was my number two comic buy (behind Firestorm) in high school. And, if there's any possibility of BD taking on a tornado filled with sharks, I will die a happy man.
  4. If they bring anti-Matter, they need to bring Qward, and with it, yellow lanterns. Thus, Diggle gets a ring!
  5. We might not see him for a long time, but for the first time ever, they are having Lois pregnant and explaining how she will be able to deal with a super baby in her belly kicking without killing her. Oh yeah, Ollie's done. But then again, this might be their fanboy swerve to us all. "NO! I am NOT hugging you again. You got me to hug you twice. No."
  6. Barry and Ollie as The Trigger Twins made me giggle.
  7. Oh, if only I had thought of that 19 years ago.
  8. https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2018/12/6/18129352/larry-the-axe-hennig-dead-age-82-wwe I started watching wrestling in the mid-70's, the AWA. Hennig, (my auto-correct has now tried twice to spell it Henning. No, dumbass, it's HENNIG!), was always at the front and center. Face or heel, he always put on a great show. Then his son came and out-shined the OTHER well-known son on the show, (Greg Gagne) and went on to greater Perfect things. There was a bar I used to bounce at that he was really good friends with the owner. Larry came in with him one time. I was sitting with my gf at the time and some friends. They all noticed this huge guy walking in, and I explained who it was. He was sitting with the owner, who knew I was a big fan. I walked over and he introduced me to Larry. Shook his meat hook, told him what I fan I was, same of his son, whom I had also met a couple times. (Curt was a big time fan of this country band I used to work with in the mid 90's. He and Animal would come out all the time to watch us. Wore OUR merch, too!) We bs'ed for a couple minutes, wished him the best, went and sat down. My gf at that time would put up with my wrasslin' and sometimes watch with me. She had an idea about the industry. She immediately got up and went and introduced herself. Said her condolences on his son, blahblahblah, then said: "I was wondering if you could do a favor for me?" Larry: "Sure! What is it?" Gf: "Would you piledrive me?" Larry: blanklook.......... LAUGHS HIS ASS OFF! Gf: "I thought so." walks back to table. I've always loved that story. RIP, Mr. Hennig. Tell Curt hi.
  9. http://collider.com/elseworlds-crossover-cast-psycho-pirate/#poster Well, well, well. Psycho Pirate. Things are heating up, King!
  10. Batman doesn't smile. She should know better.
  11. Randy" "Oh, come ON!!!!!!!!!!"It also look right after that like he was ready to RKO HHH OUTTA NOWHERE, then backed down.
  12. http://collider.com/venom-spider-man-easter-eggs/ The first one occurs during the dinner date we see between Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Anne Weying (Michelle Williams), when Anne says to Eddie, “We don’t want a repeat of New York.” The Big Apple is, of course, where Peter Parker lives, and the entirety of Venom is largely influenced by the comics arc “Lethal Protector” which saw Venom making an agreement with Spider-Man to leave New York and move to San Francisco—where Venom takes place.

  14. And the dude in the red shirt behind him is extremely thankful for that, too.
  15. Wife and I watched Cloverfield Paradox last night. It was ok. Wife doesn't watch much SciFi, so explaining the paradoxes and other such non-spoilery type things was kind of fun for me. I'll watch it again.
  16. We live an hour north of the Twin Cities. Our neighborhood had a board last year picking Twins wins and rbi's for the tie breaker. No one picked that low, so the board rolled over to this year with the same people on it, now a double pot. It came down to two people who had picked 82 wins, myself and another gent. They hit the 82 wins last week, but I had picked 750 rbi. The other guy picked 675. They passed 750 this pas Saturday. $160 for me! This past June, our son, (8 years old) went to his first Twins game for Kid's Company. It was a noon game, BUT went to a five hour rain delay. Well, their busses had to leave at 3pm to get the kids back so their parents could pick them up after work. When I got him at 5pm, they were throwing out the first pitch. The Twins pitcher, (I can't remember who it was), was pulled after the first inning. They wound up losing by like a dozen runs or so. Anywho, the Twins organization found out that the kids got cheated out of a game, and sent TWO tickets out for each kid, and that game is this Saturday night, 6:10pm, Target Field! I can't wait to sit with my son and experience his first MLB game evar. Oh, and the $160 will be well spent on Twins gear and hot dogs. Also, the Twins play by play guy, Dick Bremer, is from my hometown, (a small place like 100 people now). Dick's father, back in the day, was our church's pastor. My father was friends with him, and still is to this day. Dad got me Dick's cell number, and Dick said that if my son and I show up early enough to the field that day, he will get my son and I into the TV broadcast booth and get autographs from him and Burt Blyleven and obligatory pix, too. Hell yeah!
  17. Most of what Liberty Belle was spouting during her training was heel talk. Even at the end when she challenged Zoya, she was kind of a bitch. Yeah, yeah, Mrs. America vs. Russian, she could sound kinda bitchy, but she always seemed to have a heel edge to her. I don't see her playing babyface in peril very well. Also, did they show if her hubby stayed or took off after she went in the ring? I don't think I caught that. Other than that, loved it! Even my wife, who can't STAND wrestling, loved it. Watched every episode with me. I completely missed that was Kong, Hogan and Carlito.
  18. Wife and I watched Shimmer Lake this weekend. It was......... ok.
  19. Lucha Underground Seasons 1 & 2 just started, along with MST3K season 1 (the original), too!
