Wrestling Observer/Meltzer Ominbus Thread

Just listening to Keller and Mitchell talk about Wrestling Hall of Fames (Halls of Fame?) and the Observer Hall of Fame was conspicuous by it's abscence in the conversation. Would I be correct in assuming that it's not allowed to be mentioned on the Torch shows even though Bruce sometimes appears on the Observer audio as well and talks about the HOF? -
No point gifing this and not including VInce's reaction to it.

Dave sounded absolutely exhausted doing WOR Sin Limite this month. Seems like he was absolutely asleep at one point when it went silent for ages. -

Looks like all UFC live coverage is behind the paywall now. -

I have the read the first one and it's very good but not great. More a collection of unrelated stories than any kind of autobiography though. And I think the second one is more of the same. -
He looks a bit like Damien Lewis.

This looks sad: Sort yourself out Marty. Get to WWE rehab.

Is there any logic to dictate what on the front page is subscriber only and what is free to read? When I tried to look at the UFC report this morning it was subcriber only, as was the report on Revolution Pro last night with Tanahashi. But the Michinoku Pro event report is free to read? -

Any UK people on here used to listen to the Iain Lee show on Absolute Radio? I think that was "Sifu" a regular from that show that rang Lance Storm from London on the last F4D. -

I don't think UAE is that strict about foreigners, they have compounds for foreign workers where all kinds of debauchery takes place at the weekend from what I've heard.
-
Surely homosexuals aren't banned from the UAE, just homosexual acts?

AWA in the first half of the 70s with Stevens and Patterson. World Champion Verne was a part timer by this stage.

Are either of Alvarez's matches on tape anywhere? The only version of KOI 2001 I have ever seen is just the tournament matches. In fact, has it even been given an official DVD release? -
Undertaker as well.

Surely that's not undertaker doing the talking bits in the song?

My mistake, the cheapest tickets are £75 (plus a £8.75 booking fee, so £83.75). That's still a hell of a lot though. At UFC 105 four years ago, the same seats in the same building were £40, the the card had Couture vs Vera, Bisping vs Kang and Hardy vs Swick.
-
I'd be seriously pissed off if I'd bought tickets for UFC in Manchester. That was a one match card, now it's a no match card. Cheapest seats £97? Forget it.
