Fighting Illini undefeated! Damn, the Huskers must really suck this year.

I've been really wanting to watch this. We recently got a Samsung TV and there's a Bob Ross channel on it. It just straight up shows nothing but episodes of The Joy of Painting. When we turn off an app or anything, it's on, so we end up just leaving it on. Myself and my wife and kids have become obsessed with Ross. We may take a trip to Muncie soon to check out the Bob Ross Experience.

I know the AEW hype can get a little out of hand, but I think this might be my personal most anticipated show ever. Well, I was pretty hype for Wrestlemania VI (It fell on my 12th birthday, so I got to have friends over to watch. Plus, WARRIOR VS. HOGAN! Duh.) and Bash at the Beach 96, so maybe my third-most hyped show. I hope they can deliver!

Companies can be very successful with fan service. I mean, it's worked out well for Marvel. I guess it's kind of a crazy idea that if you give the fans a bunch of cool shit they want to see, they'll watch.

Every time I hear that term, I think of this:

No joke, if TK is a fan of this board (and he is), I bet he really would roll out the red carpet for Dean.

I knew that show was screwed as soon as they decided to show the “sketches”. The whole premise was that these two guys were brilliant comedy writers, and then you see their output and it’s not the least bit funny. 30 Rock got that right by just going with the premise that the show was terrible.

That’s a weird thing WWE does now (has done for a while) that bugs me. Used to, a booker looked a wrestler and tried to accentuate their positives and do things to hide their negatives. At least, that was the idea. Of course it didn’t always happen. Can’t talk? Put them with a manager/mouthpiece. Not that strong in the ring? Keep their matches short or put them in there with someone who can guide them. Now, they seem to take a wrestler and strip everything away that might get them over and see how they do. As an exercise, that’s interesting, but as a provider of entertainment, it’s counterproductive.

Ok, so far Suzuki is facing: Daniel Garcia, Homicide, Calvin Tankman, and Jonathan Gresham on his trip to the U.S. Am I missing anyone? Damn, I'm pretty hype for all of those.

Just the idea of Jericho's wife being on it would scare me off.

I think the issue with Jericho's stuff is that he's not as good a promo as he thinks he is.

That was a weird way to end the show.

I like to imagine sportswriter Brody covering a Jason Garrett press conference and calling him "Jason" instead of "Coach", but when Garrett gets all pissy, Brody stomps his whiny ass.

Fun fact: The guy that started that meme lived in my dorm in college. He was a friend of a friend. It was University of Illinois, but no one involved was Tony Kahn. He’s a bit younger than us.

I didn't think that scene could get better, but it did...

I’m glad they didn’t get cute with it. Just put the guy that they all came to see out there and let him talk.

Opening the show with a 20-minute promo from some WWE cast-off? Pfft. No thanks, Tony!

Tony Kahn to open tonight’s show: “Uh, hey listen everybody. Well…uh…you see, CM Punk hasn’t signed with us.” [massive booing] “I’m sorry! It’s just that everyone was having so much fun with all the speculation and I didn’t want to ruin it, so I just kinda let it build up. I'm not necessarily super-excited for Punk himself. I'm more excited that there's something exciting going on in pro wrestling. It's been a while since that's happened.
