  1. I had no idea B-Boy was still wrestling. I know he came back from a retirement, but I hadn't heard anything about him in years so I assumed he was back to being retired. Also I'm really surprised Tim Donst hasn't gotten a shot in TNA or at least a WWE NXT deal yet.
  2. If they had him be like Ric Flair from the start, maybe the whole Figure Four thing would have worked. Bland babyface Miz absolutley killed him. Thank God for Damien Mizdow for breathing life into him again.
  3. I want to see Sting and Sting do a Roxxane duet.
  4. Great, now I'm picturing Kane as the WWE's Bing Crosby beating kids with a sack full of oranges.
  5. I skipped a lot of the show tonight. The opening with Ambrose was outstanding. The people are feeling it. Sweet Ambrosia is running wild over them. Cena being Cena and then Dean being all "this is my fight...i'll fight you too if you don't leave" was so awesome. Rollins is such a great chickenshit heel and the whole fight and him carjacking someone to get away from Ambrose was awesome. What was not awesome was them doing another Ambrose/Kane and Orton/Cena match. I like Corporate Kane and all, but God his matches now are so paint by numbers (I mean they always were but now more so). Damien Mizdow is amazing. I couldn't stop laughing when he had his stunt double title belt. It's a shame he wasn't cast in Marine 4 because hes a thousand times more entertaining than The Miz ever could be.
  6. Vince McMahon and Victor Newman have a LOT in common.
  7. It was doing pretty good with Barrett until Swagger injured him. I blame Swagger for this.
  8. I completely forgot about the most infuritating thing of the night at least for me. The WWE nuked their PPV bridge tonight. They ripped on anyone who doesn't have the network by basically saying "you must be a real idiot to be paying $54.95 for this". I bet the companies they haven't pissed off because of the network must have been thrilled when they did that and then they did it again later in the night. It's amazing how this company is run.
  9. The problem is, who realistically takes the belt off of Brock? Besides Cena, he's the only guy I can think of. Ambrose is WHITE HOT but I don't think you give him the belt right now. Hell, it took Steve Austin almost 2 years. Yeah, but that was the mid 90's and they were still using the old model of you have to slowly build someone up. They've shown in the last 15 years that they will speed through months of storylines in a couple of weeks. I have no doubt if someone can convince Vince that this Ambrose kid is the one to go with, he'll say fuck it and green light Dean in the main event. Of course if there is an active sabotage campaign against Ambrose by some in the WWE, then we're all screwed.
  10. You know why else a lot of us want to see Brock/Austin? Because the WWE hasn't done shit to build up anyone worthy of facing Brock. If Cena doesn't win tonight, then who is there to stop Brock? Answer: NO ONE. If they didn't dick around Cesaro after Wrestlemania with their stupid "well, we'll make you look like crap for a while just because we have to know you won't abandon us" loyalty tests and take Ambrose off television when he was getting red hot to film a movie there would at least be two viable challengers for Brock in the next couple of months before the Royal Rumble rolled around and it was a coin flip between Roman Reigns or Cena for them.
  11. I'm watching No Holds Barred on Blu ray and I never noticed until now that the first guy Stan Hansen beat up was Jos LeDuc. Did a match between the two ever happen anywhere (singles, tag or six man). Seems like it would have been a fun clubbering contest to watch.
  12. If they built it up where Brock was this unmerciful God who was just destroying everyone and The Authority couldn't control him, it would make perfect sense for them to beg Austin to do what needs to be done to end Brock's reign of terror. Austin has always said he needs three to four months to prepare for a match of a high quality. I mean there is zero chance this will happen for Wrestlemania 31, but Brock running down Austin for being a pussy on that night they were supposed to fight in 2002 would be all the storyline you would need for this thing. Just imagine the promos from Heyman when he says "Steve Austin fears one man...and that's Brock Lesnar and I can prove it...roll the video footage". Oh yeah, Cena probably will get his win back tomorrow night. Maybe he doesn't win the title, but he'll come out the winner.
  13. Crossface Chickenwing is my favorite submission. Dean Ambrose busted one out during a Shield match and it looked so crisp and sweet. His forward DDT is pretty good, but he could go full crazy Bob Backlund just locking guys in the chickenwing whild screaming gibberish at them.
  14. Great, now I'm picturing Lil Petey Pump's story about Steiner doing 90 down some small down street. 88 MILES PER HOUR. Weed is legal here in Colorado.Who's gonna be first guy to photoshop a blunt between his fingers? I'm sure if I wasnt rushing I could do better.
  15. Why can't a triple threat match with all 3 members of the Shield fighting it out for the World Heavyweight Championship be a dream match? because NWA in the 80s didn't have those kinds of matches!!! I bet there are nights where Dusty is like "Damn it to hell, if I heard about that dang ol triple threat I could have booked myself to beat Flair and Blanchard in the same match if you wheeeel".
  16. I don't see the fake Ziggler bit with Truth to be racist. Then again I wasn't really watching the match to begin with. The notion that Billy Gunn is there is perfect for Ziggler but people would think "wow Dolph is Billy's kid" and no one wants to make people think that Ziggler could be Billy's kid. He's got enough problems in the company. He doesn't need to be Billy Gunned like that.
  17. This now has to happen. Cameron repeatedly trying to pin people on their stomachs. I'd also be okay with her painting stars on her stomach. Probably best to leave Kim Chee and the spear and shield out of it, though. They had no problem with Seth doing a monkey pose tonight though. That was seriously a legit WTF from me when I was watching. This whole show was a big WTF. Between them doing the whole halftime thing (I mean it's the Eagles and Colts) to pander a ratings pop at a certain time to closing the show with that painful rah rah America thing. It's a shame it can't happen, but as I've said before if this were any other production on earth Vince would have been removed as the show runner a long time ago. Tonight was a prime example of why his vision of television is so bad. Nothing remotely in the show that was worth us watching other than Paul's "turn to the dark side" promo. Of course Cena and his damn moral ethics wouldn't allow for that. We the lowly television viewers are begging for something new and anyone they have that could be new they ruin (see Cesaro) or they just don't know what to do with them. I understand the WWE has to be so much more than a rasslin company. But if they just go back to the status quo of lolcenawins this sunday, they might as well just rebrand themselves as WCW.
  18. Man that Russ Davis (no kin of mine) was such a snarky asshole. I was laughing so hard when he was running down Haystacks for being a fat bastard. "A dozen eggs, a loaf of bread and a half pound of butter to feed him for breakfast". There needs to be more Bobby Davis in wrestling though. He was in the match for 30 seconds during the introductions and he looked like the kinda guy who could have started riots 30 years later in Atlanta.
  19. Just thinking about it, Backlund having the feud Martel had with Hansen in 85 would have been all kinds of awesome.
  20. I love Bob Backlund as much as the next guy, but man you're next to Harley Race. Try not to be so "gee golly".
  21. I could live with a wrestling world where Stone Cold never happened. Stunning Steve Austin would have been a great mid 90's WCW World Champion. Plus if he stayed in WCW odds are he would never got dumped on his head by Owen and he would have wrestled well into the 2000's.
  22. I watched the rest of RAW earlier. Sheamus really is becoming the pale Randy Orton. He has good enough matches, but no one cares when they are on. I really hope Cesaro wins the title and injects some life back into it and himself while he's at it. The Bellas segment was hilarious for all the wrong reasons. But what made me laugh the most is they hyped that Springer had his personal bodyguard with him. Where the hell was he was when Jerry was in the middle of all that? The best part had to be Stephanie being all "Oh my God nothing like this has ever happened before...I'm soooo sorry". The bunny thing was amusing. I want to believe the bunny fighting is a result of somehow Vince seeing a CP Munk video on youtube. Again if there were ever a reason for them to do a reality show on creative on the network this is it. Vince spending hours on plans for the bunny. It would be amazing to watch.
  23. John Cena is so Hulk Hogan circa 1995 right now. I think Heyman really got him annoyed when he was like "those guys in the sixth row who say you suck". I made the joke last night on twitter that I thought poor Mr. Meeseeks had it bad. Existence is pain. Being John Cena must be a hell we can't possibly imagine. I have the second half of the show on the dvr since I was too tired to make it through the rest without falling asleep. But the announcers putting over what was going on in the ring? That's a novel enough concept that could just work.
  24. I was browsing the squared circle reddit earlier and there was this whole thread on Jay Briscoe winning the world title and some uber ROH fan being all pissy really made me laugh. How do you even begin to respond to that.
