  1. Last night's show was good as usual. I was shocked they opened up with the show with the MJF Bah Mizpah. The other pillars of the company coming out to interupt was a nice touch. Out of all of them I'd want to see MJF/Jack Perry. Maybe MJF/Darby. Those would both be good matches to see. The BCC's heel turn continues and Wheeler Yuta is such a dick it's great. I thought for sure Jarrett would win the new International title through shady tactics. It's not a main event title so I could live with Jarrett being a champion again. But OC justs keeps on rolling so good for him. The only part of the show that was a let down was the Jade open challenge. I would have rather seen them skip the squash match and just have Taya come out and Jade decline to face her. Also didn't care for The Outcasts promo either. Main event was really good. Loved seeing House of Black win. I was surprised to see Jericho take that Dante's Inferno move that Brody does. It all led to a nice brawl at the end and I hope we get Hangman back with The Elite. Let things come full circle for AEW.
  2. Last night was a good show. Nothing amazing, but it was good none the less. Lethal vs. Cassidy was probably the best match of the night. I don't get the rebranding of the title to International either especially with the tie in to Shazam 2. Orange Cassidy has had a good run so I hope it continues next week. I don't mind Hobbs winning the title. What I did mind was this nonsense with QT being the one to help him do it. Hopefully it will make some sense next week, but they really dropped the ball on Wardlow.
  3. I forgot to comment last night. Thought the show was pretty good as usual for their ppvs. Moxley vs Page was my favorite match of the night. I loved that Page won so I hope this means big things for him again. The iron man match was really good. I figured they would do sudden death. Overall very enjoyable. I have no idea who would feud with MJF going forward. I like that AEW isn't predictable like that.
  4. I missed the first half of the show since I didn't realize it was being streamed live instead of on demand. I assume it will be on demand so i can watch it later. From what I saw of it, it was good. Glad to see Timothy Thatcher will be in ROH. That should be a damn good match with Yuta. AR Fox vs. Claudio was a really good match. Just a great back and forth. Loved the ending of the show with Eddie coming out. Claudio has no time for him. Just good stuff.
  5. I thought it was a good show tonight. Certainly didn't feel like a PPV was coming up in a couple of days though. Big Bill as a modern Sid Vicious is a good idea I can get behind. I figured Cassidy would lose the title tonight so I was genuinely surprised when he won. The ladder match should have been the main event. What a train wreck it was. But I mean that in a good way. Jericho gave PPA A LOT of offense. I'm looking forward to Christian vs. Perry. The more he steps away from calling himself Jungle Boy the better. It should be fun as a street fight or whatever. I hope Christian is sticking around after it though. Riho vs. Toni was good. I love Riho so the more of her on my tv the better. I hope Saraya doesn't win the title this sunday but I have a sneaking suspicion that she will. The Mox/Page match is going to be a bloody mess. I'm all for it. I was amused at the backstage bit with Mox bleeding all over the stairs. Page has to win here. He needs something big and I'm hoping he channels his inner Terry Funk in this. Maybe Moxley can finally take that vacation after this one is over. The battle royal was a mess. It seemed like teams were just entering at random times with nothing set. i was pulling for Butcher/Blade but I guess they had to get Danhausen on the ppv. I mean he is their biggest merchandise seller if reports are true. I'm guessing him/Cassidy are in there to eat the pin so Assboys/Acclaimed can continue on. Ha, I just realized it's come full circle for them since Danhausen is the one that started the assboy's name. I'm looking forward to the Danielson/MJF Match. I'm just not sold on it needing to be an iron man match. With all this hate they could have easily gone for an I Quit match. I think that would have suited both guy's submssions. Okay yeah I don't know how they would get Bryan to quit though so there's that problem. MJF is just scraping the surface as champion so I hope he does win this weekend.
  6. I like the idea of Big Bill winning the All Atlantic title from Orange Cassidy. The Firm needs something and a lower card belt would be a good start.
  7. I remember him doing commentary on wwf action zone. I think it was him and Gorilla Monsoon.
  8. I forgot to comment yesterday. I thought the show was pretty good. I'll have to find OC/Yuta because I missed that match. But I enjoyed the rest of the show. Uno vs. Mox was way better than it had any right to be. I wasn't expecting Uno to bleed a ton but he did. Mox needs to go a week without some blood. I like blood in matches, but it's getting ridiculous with him every week. I agree with the notion that I would have saved it for the go home show. Page needs a big win and I hope he comes out on top in this.
  9. Tonight was a good show as usual. It wasn't spectacular, but it was good which is all one can ask for when watching. I missed most of the opening eight man but saw the ending with the Scissor spot. I guess it's officially the new WHAAAAATTTTTSSS UPPPPPPP headbutt. Props to Jeff for wrestling tonight. This golden globe thing has to have a payoff at some point. The texas tornado match was chaos. I think i'm getting tired of seeing Moxley bleed every week for no apparent reason. Preston on the other hand tapped a nice gusher. Claudio vs. RUSH should be a fun feud whenever ROH is back. Mark Briscoe vs. Josh Woods was a fun match. I love the FroggyBow and everything about Mark with his redneck kung fu. It's sad it took Jay's death to give us Mark as a singles star, but I hope they know they got something with him. MJF is such a jerk. It's beautiful. I liked the story he was telling and then bringing out Daniels to shit on Bryan only for Daniels to turn it around and throw it in his face was a nice touch. Bryan is on a hot streak right now so I'm looking forward to the Iron Man Match. Jack Perry vs. Brian Cage was all right for a little man vs. big man match. Before it started I wondered about Christian and wouldn't you know he shows up after the match is over. I'm looking forward to Christian vs. Jungleboy so I'm glad it's finally on the map again. Hangman vs. Kip was all right. The bigger story was after the match with Mox talking shit and it bringing out The Dark Order. I loved Evil Uno stepping up to Mox like he did and we should get a good match out of it next week. The main event was all right. I don't get this story of outsiders vs. originals. Trying to have Ruby caught in the middle makes no real sense. Overall a good show tonight. Not spectacular, but good.
  10. I thought it was an all right show tonight. Parts of it were good. Other's were just there. I'll skip to the Cody promo. Cody is going to face the same problem he had in AEW. People don't want this sanitized Cody that's glad handing people and kissing baby's. They want him to be The Nightmare. We know he has this assholeish person inside of him. But he's so damned determined to be a good guy. I liked the promo with him and Paul. I would have rather seen Cody been all "you used my father when he was at his lowest". But we got mutual respect instead. Heyman looked like he was gonna cry at one point. I love when he does that. Overall it was a good segment though. The cage match was good. I thought it had plenty of brutality and hatred. Was legit shocked when Lita showed up. Just wasn't expecting her to come out for the save. Overall like I said, an all right show tonight.
  11. That was a fun show as usual. Page and Mox brought it. I thought they would go to a draw (that is a booking option Tony never uses anymore), but Mox got the surprise win. The Acclaimed are the hottest act in the company so it would be stupid to mess with them in anyway. Billy Gunn of all people is having a successful third act of his career. They would be stupid to do anything to ruin that. Takeshita vs. Cage was a good match. I was surprised that Cage lost. I figured he would win in some devious way. Bryan vs. Thatcher was a good match. I hope Thatcher sticks around. Perhaps for the new ROH. He and Claudio could have some good matches. But this one was good as I said. I liked the story that was told with Bryan's shoulder. I love that it set up Takeshita coming out to save Bryan from MJF and it led to a fun pull apart brawl in the back. MJF vs. Takeshita should be a good one next week. The Jade/Velvet match was meh to be honest. I like Velvet, but no one believed she had a chance of beating Jade. They need to up the competition with Jade. Give her Yuka Sakazaki or Riho. It's getting old fast with Jade running through everyone. I wonder if this is the internet felt about Goldberg mid streak. I honestly can't remember. Joe vs. Darby was a car wreck in every sense I thought it would be. It sucks they put a stip saying neither man could challenge for the title if they lost, because I could see Joe and Darby continuing this war. The first table spot where Darby hit it like a pinball and busted Joe open the hardway was sick. Joe had a bunch of nope moments in the match where Darby paid a price. Overall a fun match and good to see Wardlow back. I guess they're gonna build up to the PPV with them so Wardlow gets his revenge.
  12. Yeah I saw that commercial last night. It was Pat sitting at dinner with Rocky and Peter Mavia. It was really revisionist history. But it's a sitcom so don't take it literally.
  13. Having a day to digest the events of the rumble, I gotta say that it was an incredible end to the show. Sami has to face Roman for the title. Sami and Kevin going for tag titles seems like it would be such a letdown. Sami is over to the point where he could be a huge new star for them. The reports that Vince and triple h don't see that see just makes no sense. Like he is more than a supporting player. He can be the lead. I'm amazed he pulled that off. The rest of the show...pitch black match withstanding was really good. Glad Cody won.
  14. He kinda is doing Memphis from the 80's if you think about it. A huge overloaded stable and fireballs. As for the notion of Bryan vs. Jarrett, I only want to see it if it's Double J Double M A fighting him.
  15. I thought last night was a fun episode of RAW. The trial was really good. I loved how Heyman went all in as the prosecution. I didn't expect Jay to save Sami like he did but it was perfect. It sucked that the trial went too long though and we didn't get the cage match. But i think they saved themselves nicely with the beatdown and that hopefully will keep this feud going. Was surprised to see BROCK return at the end. I'm all for more Brock vs. Lashely so lets see where this goes.
  16. It's a testament to his character ability that he could keep a straight face after Mark's one liners. A GOT DANG JUNE BUG. I would have been laughing my ass off after that.
  17. I'm in shock. I loved his promo's with Mark from the chicken farm. Terry Funk ain’t wear no mouthpiece
  18. I caught most of the show tonight. It was pretty good and I hope it's an indication that Triple H is holding his ground.
  19. As much fun as it would be for The Khan's to buy the WWE, it wouldn't happen. Mostly for Vince's ego. I think he would sabotage the company before he ever let someone in competition with him buy it and possibly take it to even bigger heights.
  20. This was a really great show last night. Every match delivered. Great to see Adam Cole back. It was just all awesome.
  21. I feel like that pic of Sami, Paul Heyman, and Roman watching and eating popcorn is going to be very meta this week.
  22. Dominik after serving hard time is the best. "I now know how Martha Stewart feels". The tear drop tattoo. A billion stars.
  23. I caught up on WOW earlier. So Vickie is a rookie? Her whole persona screams grizzled vet working for the last twenty years in the middle of nowhere. This weeks episode was pretty good. Robbie Rocket gets another win. Kandi Krush vs. Holidead was good up until the voodoo ending. I didn't figure McClane would splurge on two pairs of boxing gloves but he did. All hail The Fabulous Four. This was the best Penelope Pink looked in the ring. Her finisher looked so crisp.
  24. So am I right to think that this is Vince being all "well, if i can't have it...none of you can"? The company is doing good for once...well financially anyway. He really thought he was going to run it till he died and even then he'd still run it.
  25. I only saw the second half of the show so i missed the tag title match that everyone seems to be saying was good. It's set up a no hold's barred match for battle of the belts. So that should be some good stuff. Bryan vs. Tony Neese was pretty good from what I saw of it. It led to a so/so promo battle between Bryan and MJF. MJF had a couple of good lines, but Bryan threw him off when he said what he said about MJF's mother. The only thing I don't get is this ranking thing that Bryan has to win for the next month only to get a title shot a month after that. If MJF still had The Firm in his pocket it would make sense with Bryan having to go through them for the next month. Could be fun if MJF brings in ringers to face him. Bryan vs. Nick Gage perhaps? Nah, I think that's to much wishful thinking there. Swerve vs. AR Fox was a great match. I was glad to hear Excalibur mention their lucha underground feud during the match. Parker is still way too green to be out there, but he served his purpose. I don't know what it means for the other guy if they can't even think up a name for him. Jade/Velvet vs. Skye/Keira was not a good match. They're telling this story with Red Velvet that probably will go nowhere because Jade ends up running through anyone she faces anyway. So if they are building her up to be the one to beat her, I don't believe it. Joe vs. Darby was a fun brawl to start and a good match to finish. I honestly didn't see Darby winning...even if it was his home town. I was digging King of Television Joe. Wardlow should have factored into the ending especially after last week. Overall a good show from what I saw.
