  1. I caught up with the show earlier because i forgot i had it on my dvr. Another fun episode. My favorite match was Randi Rah Rah vs. Glitch. I don't get the promos though where they build up someone as a face like with Glitch and then have her be a heel. Still a fun match though. I loved Coach's interference at the end. The triple threat was fun till the end. So did Beast blow out her knee on a powerbomb?
  2. I couldn't stop laughing when I heard him say that. Booker's reaction was great.
  3. I thought tonight's show was meh. It was funny in spots, but most of it felt like it was just there. I guess Triple H is allowed to have an off week especially after having covid. The funniest part was Gallows saying he'll take care of Rhea only to come back needing the ice pack himself. Bayley vs. Bianca was pretty good. Took me a minute to realize it was Nikki Cross who interfered in the match. If she's back to just being crazy I'm all for it. Maybe we can get another match with her and Asuka at some point.
  4. I liked this show despite not really watching NXT lately so I know the minimum on story's and such. The matches were all right. The ladder match was the usual chaotic mess that NXT Ladder matches tend to be. I was amused at the crowd being solidly against Von Wagner. He was so out of place in that match but he held his own. The Haunted House thing was hilarious especially with them constantly attacking the performers in the house. Crews/Waller was all right. I didn't understand the point of the fake casket just for the bump off the top rope. If they brought out the real one from the start it would have been perfectly fine. I liked Julius/Kemp. I thought it was a good brawl. Probably would have been better as a stretcher match rather than an ambulance match, but it worked. Cora/Roxanne was good. Nice use of the plunder in the match. I thought the spot off the top of the stage was dumb though especially since they almost missed the tables and only went through one. Mandy/Fyre was all right for what it was. I was surprised Mandy won again. That running knee of her's is very good. The triple threat was excellent. I wanted Dragonov to win, but I knew it wouldn't happen. Bron is so good. I really hope we get a proper singles match between just them two. JD stopping the ref from counting the three was a brilliant spot. Overall not a bad show.
  5. How is Vampiro wrestling still? Isn't he supposed to have something like early onset Alzheimer's or was that that just a work of some sort for AAA?
  6. Last night was a good show. Jericho continues to deliver with his Ring of Jericho gimmick. I popped for the Julie Newmar move that Dalton did. Glad to hear Hagman is ok.
  7. That match was all right. Aside from the blood I wouldn't say it was that gruesome. Only thing bad was that Mutoh scale blood in front of all those kids.
  8. I watched it on Tuesday night. At first I thought it didn't tape because it wasn't in my DVR but magically it showed up. The opening tag was good. The Tonga Twins have to be winning this tournament (I like how McClane cant even keep track of the rounds). I was looking forward to the Randi Rah Rah match when Coach Campanelli (who is my favorite and the crowd seems to like her too). Does she have any indy experience anywhere? BK is my second favorite. I liked how Jessie Jones was all "you wanna be my partner". It was a fun match. Was glad to see Randi and Coach Campanelli win. Reina vs. Leia wasn't bad. I was impressed with the samoan drop spot from Leia. Beast vs. Tormenta was good up until the run in. I was wondering if WOW ever had a triple threat, but apparently they did according to a previous post.
  9. I thought it was a pretty good show tonight. As usual some matches over delivered. Jungle Boy/Luchasarus went on way too long. I want to see the Jungle Boy/Christian feud, but unless this is a masterful work by Christian, we're not gonna get that match until what Double Or Nothing in May? Since he lost maybe he should take some time to readjust or something. He's one of those guys treading water now. Swerve vs. Billy was all right. But man I hope we don't see many Daddy Ass matches in the future. Can't believe he was teasing a moon in 2022. The post match thing with Smart Mark Sterling was dumb. I understand the scissor thing might be way more over then they intended. But him doing the trademark thing was just stupid. Plus we're getting almost the same angle with The Firm now having Private Party after buying their contracts. Legal gimmicks can be over done. WARJoe continue to dominate which is good for them. I like the ROH angles on the show, but it would be nice if they had their own show for it. Rebrand one of the Dark shows for ROH if it comes to it. Great promo by Moxley and Hangman. Hangman needs a win, but we all know he's not getting it. Speaking of ROH, I was surprised the Jericho/Bryan match kicked off the 9pm hour. I thought they were going to go an hour before I forgot there were still other matches to go. It was a good match, but not as good as the first two. Garcia's turn on Bryan should have happened last week. But what's done is done. Bryan vs. Garcia with this personal touch should be good though. The women's tag was good. I missed Shida on my television. Why they don't use her more I don't know. Build up to Shida vs. Hayter over the Women's title in 2023 please. Pac vs. Orange was probably their best match yet. Pac really is a bastard and I liked how he kept going for the hammer. Cassidy needed this win desperately and I'm glad he got it.
  10. RAW was really good last night. Even the DX stuff that I figured would be dumb at least was funny. Really was surprised that Brock showed up. Was pissed that he cost Lashley the US Title. I was enjoying Lashley as champion. Sami Zayn is so over right now. It's really going to be something amazing when Roman flips the switch on him and takes him out.
  11. Is the show gonna be on PPV of some sort? FITE ect?
  12. I thought it was a pretty good show from start to finish. The 6 man brawl was easily the match of the night. Imperium was getting some legit heat from that crowd. I just loved the chaos of the match. The Sheamus/GUNTHER feud continues to deliver. Ronda vs. Liv was all right. It was the standard Ronda match at this point but with weapons. I liked the ending. Liv didn't tap. They both looked good. Kross vs. Drew was all right for a strap match. I kinda laughed when Cole brought up Sting/Vader. That's the gold standard of strap matches and no one is touching that. I don't like the pinfall stip that the WWE uses for strap matches. You need to drag your opponent around. They could have still gone with the pepper spray at the end. Just do the old the other guy was secretly touching the turnbuckles behind you thing. But overall a good match. Scarlett gets all of Kross's heat though. Bianca/Bayley was a decent ladder match. I'm glad no one did the broken ladder like it's a table spot though. I'm surprised Bianca did win though. But the kids in the crowd seemed to enjoy that. Edge/Finn was good. I figured Judgement Day would come out to save Edge when they did. I don't know what Cole is talking about saying Edge is past his prime. He looks better today than he did during his "prime". Loved Beth getting involved just so someone could lay out Rhea. But it was a nice touch with her taking out Beth and them using that to get him to quit. And of course she does the conchairto anyway. Dominik gets some really good heat. I want to see them building to a Mask vs. Hair match against him and his dad. The Fight Pit was good. Could have used some blood (though Riddle did have a scratch over his eye). I think this concept could work more on the main roster so I hope the match isn't just a one off. Loved the finish with Riddle not letting go and finally getting him to tap. And the ending with Wyatt. I loved it. This is going to be a real test of Triple H and his creative powers. Return of the year for me so I hope they don't screw it up.
  13. I forgot to comment last night about the show. I thought it was good as usual despite the backstage chaos that is apparently going on. Max/Yuta was a solid match. Didn't expect a clean tap out win like that for MJF. I expect him to win in bigger matches by shenanigan's. Feet on the ropes, a roll of dimes. Something like that. I was hoping the feud between these two would go longer, but they set up an interesting story about MJF not wanting The Firm to run in. Perhaps he made a bad deal with Stoakley and can't get out of it. That would actually be an interesting twist. Darby/Lethal was fine. Lethal is treading water till the eventual ROH tv show that happens somewhere. I want to see Darby back in a title hunt though. Wardlow vs. Darby for the TNT title would be fun. The women's match was fun. Willow is hard to hate so I was pleasantly surprised seeing her get the win. I really hope Saraya is cleared to wrestle because it was fun seeing her fight again. I can't believe how over The Acclaimed are with this scissor stuff. Billy Gunn of all people getting a third act in his career is amazing. I liked how they set up Swerve v.s Billy for next week. Hangman vs. RUSH was good. Kinda sucks for Rush to get officially signed and take a big loss right off the bat. But i think like Lethal he's just treading water till they figure out what to do with ROH. Moxley coming out afterwards set up a big fight feel for the Hangman/Mox match. I though Moxley turned it into a last man standing match when he dropped that line in the promo but so far nothing about that. Can't wait to see that match. The Jungleboy/Lucha feud could be better, but I think it hinges on how this match between them goes. They need a falls count anywhere match or something because I can't see Lucha taking all of Jungleboy's high spots. But yeah I agree with the notion that the Jungle Boy/Christian feud has fizzled. They could have had Jungle Boy "break" Christians arm so that gives him an excuse to be out for a while. Christian being there and not being able to fight really waters things down. The main event was good. Sadly it wasn't some elaborate ploy by the JAS to beat up Bryan like he was Sting with The Horsemen, but it was good none the less. Garcia vs. Jericho in a title for title match is gonna be good when they get to that point. I would assume the next ROH PPV whenever that is.
  14. That was a fun match. Penelope didn't want to let Lana down. Great running knee for the win.
  15. For some reason Ch. 10/55 here in NYC ran Charles Stanley's show 15 minutes over so I have to watch the last 15 on youtube when it goes up. I liked the Bully Busters vs. Chainsaw and Voodoo. You have to love the dedication to her gimmick to get a full leg length tattoo of a chainsaw. I was surprised to see Disciplinarian lose. Figured she would win. Spars vs. Gianni wasnt bad. Just got to find that main event to see what I missed.
  16. D.C. as the referee feels like when Shamrock was the ref for Bret vs Austin. This is a good thing.
  17. I just watched it because I forgot I had it on my dvr. It was all right. Same amount of Dave's campy ness. I liked Miami Sweet. They had a nifty tandem finisher. Glitch the Gamer has to be the most modern gimmick ever for David McClane. Reina should prove to be a good feud for Beast.
  18. Good show tonight. I liked the opening segment with that JAS. Loved that Garcia finally snapped and went sports entertainment crazy. Poor Luigi though. He just wanted to make a pizza. It led to a fun little Bryan vs. Daddy Magic match. I do love Daddy Magic and his I'm gonna burst an aneurism promo style. Bryan is just so much fun when he's just beating people up. The Saraya promo wasnt that bad. At least in my view. It's a given anyone coming from the WWE has to do the "oh I'm free from such an evil boss" promo. I just want to know is she supposed to wrestle or what. I would assume if she can wrestle, a Sting schedule of a match every now and then would be best. Though I don't think she'll be jumping off bleachers and stuff like crazy old man Sting. But yeah, I didn't think it was bad as others. It led to a good Toni Storm/Serena Deeb match. I guess on the fly it became a lumberjack match. I'd like to see Storm and Deeb feud some more. That second rope piledriver was sick. Mox vs. Juice was all right. Standard Moxley match at this point. I liked the prematch hype video that made Juice at least seem like a threat. I laughed at The Acclaimed promo backstage. There's gonna be a lot of confiscated scissors next week at the metal detectors to get into the building. Loved Wheeler showing up at MJF's box and pummeling him. I agree with him being like Piper in 81 right now. I can't imagine him ever seeing the light and turning face though. If he did it would put the Ole Anderson heel turn to shame because you know it would be a giant trick on his part. Bandido vs. Jericho was an amazing match. Jericho in his Ring of Honor mode is going to be so fun with him wrestling mostly honorable only to cheat at the end. Bandido is very good though. That stalling suplex was awesome along with that moonsalt fall away slam. But like I said, Jericho cheats to win. Can't wait to see what other former ROH Champions they can get.
  19. Yeah we were out of the building and I think almost at the ramp to the train when we heard another match was going on. I like Ricky Starks and Hobbs, but it was all ready late as hell when that battle royal started.
  20. I'm surprised if it was only 12,000 fans. It seemed like more. But there were huge sections of the nosebleeds that were empty.
  21. I was at the show last night and it was amazing. I was super shocked Jericho won and then Moxley won later in the night. The Acclamied are super over. That was a great match. There were so many people wearing that scissor me daddy shirt they are selling. The pop Saraya got was deafening. Another shocker there. But yeah overall a fun show. This doesn't even count rampage which I will not spoil.
  22. I just finished watching it on the dvr a little while ago. I thought it was the usual McLane campiness. Coach Champinelli seems to be an early heel who is a crowd favorite. I liked her quick backstage promo where she said Kandi Krush would never knock anyone out with her noodle arms. The show wasn't bad. Like I said it was campy. AJ remains the best though and I hope maybe she'll get into the ring with them. But Tessa Blanchard coming back is probably more likely. There's supposed to be a Heavy Metal faction of some sort so I hope RIOT turns back up in WOW at some point with them.
