Ramsey
This sucks. This is the prog version of Mick Jagger dying.
ChrisM
"Roundabout" is one of the best bass-lines, ever.
rainmakerrtv
My favorite bass player, first band I ever saw live. This month can just fuck completely the hell off.
Pete
Yes kicks off their NA tour on August 7 at Foxwoods. It will be the first concert in their 47-year history without Squire. That's insanity.
rainmakerrtv
Yeah, they had been planning the tour when Squire announced he was ill and would not be a part of it. He probably knew his time wasn't long and gave his blessing to the tour. Sadly, this has gotten to be a bit of a thing with Yes, if you look at the previous couple of lineup changes it was a member falling ill and the tour went on anyway without them. cool arrow
Here's a fun little bit of trivia: this is the only song in the Yes discography that features someone other than Chris (Trevor Horn) playing bass.
rainmakerrtv
Unless you count Union, which the band really doesn't.
cool arrow
Yeah, Union was a bit of a clusterfuck.
