Execproducer Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Black Caesar and Cleopatra Jones and the Casino of Gold OT: They went from James Brown doing the Black Caesar soundtrack (one of the GOAT soundtracks) to using Edwin Starr for Hell Up in Harlem (the sequel). That has to be one of the biggest drops in terms of talent for doing a score in a film series. I get that, but not a lot of people could follow James Brown. It makes it sound like you think Edwin Starr sucks, and if you do, you should re-visit his discography, because Edwin Starr most certainly does not suck.
