What Khazmat did was basically a pro wrestling move, but with real life consequences.

After seeing what Fabio Wardley did to Frazer Clarke on the Beterbiev-Bivol undercard and now this, I would say it's been a tough stretch for jaws in combat sports.

As for fighter of the year, I would probably go Topuria just on quality of opposition alone. Poatan is just fighting a lot which is awesome and very refreshing for this day and age, but who out of the guys he is against would people pick to beat him? Merab also had good year as well. Same with Du Plessis. If Belal beats Shavkat, he could be on that list as well. This is the first year I can remember in a long time where you have clearly multiple candidates. And those are the folks who just come to mind immediately. If I do a little digging, there would probably be more.
