  1. I am trying to weed out threads that are a decade old so he is your new thread
  2. It seems a little silly to be bringing this up now with the start of the New Year but I needed something to start the thread with. Watched Spirited on Christmas Eve while visiting the in-laws Was surprised how much I enjoyed it (it was reigned in Will Farrell so that is a big reason I could tolerate it). Didn't realize how much musical stuff was in it. And it has one of the bleakest Ghost of Christmas Future reveals I can remember in any Christmas Carol adaptation Scrooged is still better but this will probably go in the holiday rotation until I don't subscribe to Apple+ anymore
  3. It is impossible but I always hope I don't have to start this thread... or at least hope to go longer than the third day of the year
  4. I guess we are still using this thread since it’s not locked.
  5. hey guys I’m addicted to Vampire Survivors. That’s all, that’s the post. Poe Ratcho is a beast if you choose the right power-ups.

  7. This didn't get posted in the old thread and gives me something to start the new thread with First look at NBC's Night Court reboot
  8. Eventually I will figure out the best way to label this so that the business type stuff ends up in this thread. Oh well. Anyway... https://variety.com/2023/film/global/regal-cineworld-amc-1235477588/?cx_testId=48&cx_testVariant=cx_1&cx_artPos=2#cxrecs_s
  9. Really looking forward to vikingo’s first Bay Area appearance. I imagine cain Velasquez will be in attendance as well. No more dragon lee, but good for him.

  12. The big meme going around last night is that at least for this week If the playoffs started today - in the AFC - Seeds 4 - 7 would all be starting backup QB For context - only one NFC playoff team would be (though the Falcons are technically using their starter but they really don't want to be)

  16. Yahoo makes it harder and harder to find each year so I almost forgot League was renewed so if you were in last year - you should have gotten an invite to whatever email you use at Yahoo https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/survival/register/joinprivategroup?gid=22363&invitation_key=078af0d878c32c72 Link for those that would like to join Lets hope this last as long as last year
  17. Oh the irony of finding the 2022 thread and then realizing I need to start the new one Couple of pieces of news The Golden Globes will return to NBC. TUESDAY, Jan 10, 2023 (Week 18 of the NFL Season is Sunday and the NCAA Championship game is Monday so they are avoiding both). Also the Critics Choice Awards are Sunday, Jan 18 so they weren't left with many choices. The other piece of news is that, per Variety, Michelle Williams' work in The Fablemans will be campaigned for the Oscars under Best Actress (I guess folks were convinced she was a lock for Best Supporting Actress)
