  1. The PC Engine version with the white hockey mask. I'm one of the few nerds that had a TG16 back in the day so I'm interested in this, especially since it has CD games.
  2. It's overall a pretty good selection of games, though why Sega keeps insisting on putting stuff like Virtua Fighter 2 on every Genesis collection is beyond me. Also in Japan they are releasing (non-working) Sega CD and 32X add-ons.
  3. I'd really like one in Las Venturas also. The last Need For Speed was kind of a cruel tease for that.
  4. I'm pretty hyped for the new Black Knight - BK2000 is my all time favorite table. Both that and Willy Wonka were at Midwest Gaming Classic and got good reviews. There are a good number of bars with a decent selection of tables in the area, so I'm sure one of them will have both tables soon. I played a few games of the new Munsters table last week. That was pretty fun. Still a fan of Iron Maiden and Star Wars.
  5. The only thing I will play at my local D&B is the Pac-Man's Arcade Party, mostly Rolling Thunder. Gameworks is better IMO, at least they have a decent selection of pinball (been playing a lot of the Iron Maiden table there lately) and their drink/food prices are pretty decent, especially during happy hour.
  6. I think TBS lost the basic cable TV rights. If you have the Sony channel, they run Bond marathons pretty frequently. There are a handful of commercial breaks, but they're short, and the movies are uncut. Encore has the pay cable TV rights. I'm not sure if they do marathons, but they're on pretty frequently. Hulu also has about 10-12 of the movies in its' lineup (I think because it is partly owned by Starz/Encore).
  7. I run hot and cold on JRE, but the recent episode with Jake The Snake is really awesome.
  8. I haven't had any problems. I think a lot of people are being overly critical of these. They're not perfect, but for the price, I think they're a great deal.
  9. Got drunk and took advantage of a 20% coupon to get the Street Fighter Arcade 1up cabinet. I dig it.
  10. That's fine, I think the lieutenants (or what ever they're called in the crew) can also manage it, like approving or kicking out people. I probably won't have the game until after Christmas. FYI - if you get the disc, it's going to have to install all of the game data anyway. A buddy at work is preloading the game and he said the file is 150GB.
  11. They couldn't even integrate the single player with online, I doubt they could do it between different games.
  12. Most modern critics suck at actually playing games.
  13. PS1 mini coming in December with 20 games for $100 https://www.polygon.com/2018/9/19/17877898/playstation-classic-release-date-price-ps1-games For that price they could at least throw in an AC adapter.
  14. I liked it, but it's easy and gets really repetitive. It's one of the free games on PS+, otherwise there is a lengthy demo available.
  15. I thought the 3D was done very well. Shots like the truck crashing over the bridge while the T1000 is chasing John on the motorcycle were pretty awesome.
  16. It has to do with him being on Stitcher Premium and/or Earwolf. Only the last 6 months or so of the regular episodes are free, otherwise you have to subscribe. The Colossal Obsession podcasts are subscription only now.
  17. I got about 15 minutes in on the PS3 version before the godawful acting made me tap out.
  18. I think he was talking about getting the PS4 version so he can play it on the PS4 Pro. AFAIK, they haven't made any Pro enhancements for the game, but I'm surprised they haven't released a Pro version.
  19. I believe so. It uses the Yakuza engine, which has been a PS only series.
  20. The game is changed a bit from the original. You can select from different fighting styles and there's new side missions/events, like Majima will randomly pop out (most times in different costumes/disguises) to challenge Kiryu to a fight. If you fight and win enough times, you unlock special moves.
  21. Kiwami has VF2 machines in the arcades, but you can't play them. You will be able to in Kiwami 2. Still a fun game, though. You may want to check at Target for it. I got the steelbook version from there a couple of months back for $9 on clearance.
  22. I liked the game, but it is pretty easy, short, and gets repetitive. On PS4 (not sure about other systems) there's a pretty big demo that lets you play the first set of missions and go around the city.
  23. One of the pre-order bonuses for RDR2 is $500K in GTA cash, which isn't that much, but it's a sign they'll probably keep the game going for a while. It's still consistently in the top 10 sales list and a cash cow for Rockstar.
  24. You may still want to check out the DLCs based on the first movie, Crew Expendable and Last Survivor. I found that the main game was too stretched out as well, but I really enjoyed the DLC. It puts you right into getting chased by the Alien and having all the equipment. (It also has some of the original actors doing the voices.) There's also survival mode, which is basically just you and the Alien on a map, but I can't remember if you have to beat the game or not to unlock it.
