  1. I don't want to be too nonchalant about this. Good opening drive. They are still an NFL team...don't let up
  2. Yes, you can. However, the rule in question specifically spells out the situation where a fielder dives for a ball and it gets past him. In that case. obstruction is the call. Well, what it says is that the player can no longer be in the "act of fielding".. The issue to me is that Middlebrooks is not capable of disappearing. He's not a magician. The way the rule is written...it basically makes it so the fielder cannot attempt to go for the ball in that spot. Middlebrooks only option would have been to allow the ball to go past him in which Craig would have scored anyway. The fielder should be given more leeway. My take is that it was the right call but a poorly worded rule. It's not poorly worded at all. If you're not in the act of fielding, you have to not be in the way. Doesn't matter if you have time to get out of the way or not - you have to not be in the way. The rule is black and white. And, again, Middlebrooks intentionally tripped him anyway. In this instance, It gives the fielder no option but to allow the ball to go by him or be called for obstruction. In my view.. that is a poorly written rule.

  4. It was the right call I suppose even though you are allowed to impede the runner's progress to field a ball, right? I mean isn't that how the rule is written? Middlebrooks was just in the way far too long and Craig is clumsy... Crazy shit..
  5. Rosenthal coming in with the bases loaded. Cards up 4-2. This will probably be Boston's last chance to do damage.
  6. I refuse to believe anyone is worse than UConn lol. Baylor actually has a solid defense now too. They are legit. So, remember when the Ducks and Bruins were tied at the half?
  7. Honestly though... are some of you suggesting that HBK did not have great matches during his last run? I didn't see anyone on the old board say anything negative about the two Shawn/Taker matches. It was high praise from almost everyone. If there were people that didn't feel they were MOTYC's...they were few and far between. 2003 Survivor Series.. his comeback had the fans going nuclear. It's the only thing I remember from that show. His match on RAW vs. Shelton in the Gold Rush tourney was also very good. I was there live for that one. The finish was spectacular. The hour long match vs. Cena. There's a lot more. I don't see how the comeback was a failure at all.
  8. Gus!! alert. Texas Tech and OU is turning into something.
  9. I forgot how awful the women's match at Survivor Series 1987 is. Brutal.
  10. There are a lot of issues with HBK but it's difficult for me to criticize his 2002-retirement run because he always had the audience in the palm of his hands and that's all you can ask for.
  11. What's the best Elimination Chamber match? I love the first one. Triple H put on a great performance. RVD nearly killed him early in the match. There was one a few years back where Mysterio was INSANE. That might be my favorite.. I just can't remember which year.
  12. Was the first TLC match the WM X-7 one? I believe WM2000 was actually a ladder match.. I would say WM X-7 is the best one.
  13. No love for Krewella in here? come on!
  14. Have we had a discussion on here about Eyes Wide Shut because I think it would be pretty interesting. I have to admit.. I have seen it and I don't get it. Maybe a second viewing would help me out.
  15. I was pretty young when it was in theaters but I remember Showgirls having some hype behind it and being NC-17 so I see that it made $35M at the box office which seemed good until I saw the budget was $45M. Still, I assume it had to do well in retail? I don't know. I think you can get away with NC-17 but it takes balls to try it.
  16. The last two times I turned impact on at 10:55 a wrestler was walking out on Dixie. I hope this becomes a thing.
  17. It will take time to get used to... that's all. Of course with how much she's been utilized in recent weeks I may forget this ever happened. Edit: That video Gonzalez posted was great. If a shopping channel could ever team up Kaitlyn with Don West I'd never watch anything else.
  18. Man, I think we had this discussion earlier in the thread but I would like to know why a lot of voters preferred Boyz over Menace II Society. I have always felt the opposite.
  19. Re: 50 SHADES. For a while I didn't know anyone who was reading it... but slowly on my social networking news feeds it started to pick up steam. It seemed like once one friend was open about reading it, others followed. Demographic : 22-35-year old females. That's all I can contribute at this time. I have not dated anyone who has read it (I don't think).
  20. NOOOOOOOOOO Kaitlyn dyed her hair. I have to blame Seth.
  21. I ask every week. How is Schiano still the coach.
  22. I'm a big fan of Bryan and I'm lukewarm on Punk.
  23. I'm not in love with Chris Evans in the role. I imagine Cap a little more grizzled. edit: Sorry, I will take this to the Marvel thread.
