  1. From watching Total Divas, Natalie just comes off as a bad person. Not 'bad' in the way that she is a backstabber and always out to get people, but every other aspect of her personality is just grating and dull. The Table For 3 was hard listening to her as it was a mixture of unwelcomed over dominance of the conversation as well as being VERY unaware of herself. Its 2015 and Natalie is still trying to pretend that she isn't coasting off the Hart name and that the sharpshooter is being done for ANY reason other than to continue to hitch herself to the Hart name as long as she can. I never really appreciated what Goldust did with himself and establishing his own career, until I heard this roundtable and see how some (Natalie) are just flat out unwilling to. Charlotte pretending she isn't in the position she is in because of her last name is also laughable. Aside from that one point, Charlotte seems like a level headed woman when it comes to the business.
  2. If Orton wasn't hurt then I would bet money that he would win the whole thing. Hopefully Sheamus is as far away from the finals as possible. I also hope Big Show and Kane are not in the tournament at all. Hopefully Lesnar and Cena don't come back early to participate in this. I want it as fresh as possible (while maintaing realistic expectations). Reigns, Ambrose, ADR, Ziggler, Rusev, and Cesaro wouldn't be a bad 6. The Wyatts will be busy that night with the 4 on 4 match that night so all 4 of them are out. I would also toss in Kalisto and Neville just to keep it fun and interesting and feeling fresh.
  3. Asuka doesn't need to promo, her ring work is good and her mannerisms excude personality. I am not into Asian women at all, but I find her pretty attractive. All-in-all, she is a good pick-up and I hope she goes far. The Cameron match didn't go 'too long' as the spoiler indicated and was fun while it lasted. I hope the 'biting the mask' isn't Asuka's video game entrance WWE wants all of its wrestlers to do. Cameron didn't come off as dog shit, and there is SOME hope.
  4. Brie has the worse kicks in WWE. Its really amazing how much she is using Brian's schtick to try and get herself over with the fans. For a woman who does so little why not take a little time and learn how to throw a real kick and a running knee that doesn't look like shit.
  5. The sweep is puzzling. I understand people are hurt or doing the U.K. thing, but surely some thought would have gone into keeping guys like Truth, Ryder, Sandow, and...wait. Those are the only three wrestlers who are babyface that are doing absolutely squat. The other wrestlers doing absolutely squat are all heel (Fandango, Axel, etc.).
  6. I am not sure why everyone is busting ZZ's chops. I can understand if he said he had 5 years experience, etc. but he is coming in green as grass so of course he is going to suck. He has a personality and can cut a better natural promo than Patrick and some of the other TE contestants that made it to the the PC. Hopefully it works out for him. BG started off good with the first show, but now has dived (persumably) into the made-up WWE narrative with the whole Dana Brooke stuff. I hope ep 3 going-forward is more like episode-one and less bullshit cliff hangers like on Total Divas. You know the ones, the ones where The Bellas are pretending on whether they are going to decide to re-sign contracts or not (both knowing damn well last time they left WWE, Hollywood was NOT interested).
  7. Can anyone justify why Tate should get paid the same or even close to Rousey? She seems to think so. I’m pretty sure…. -Headlining or co headlining a PPV as a woman, and generating over 500k, GETS YOU PAYED. Finishing fights in a spectacular fashion, GETS YOU PAYED. -Setting records for Fightpass subscribers, and getting the UFC brand into places that have no interest in MMA, GETS YOU PAYED. -Being a major celebrity/budding film star outside of the cage, GETS YOU PAYED. And I’m even more sure… -Expecting everything to be given to you, DOESN’T GET YOU PAYED. -Going the full distance with Rin Nakai – Liz Carmouche – Sara McMann – Jessica Eye, DOESN’T GET YOU PAYED. -Equating high numbers of people perving over IG and Facebook selfies, to potential PPV credibility, DOESN’T GET YOU PAYED. -Being in barging bin movies, and doing goofy promotional work outside of the cage, DOESN’T GET YOU PAYED. Am I off base?
  8. I was watching the 5/22/96 episode of Raw today and I was surprised to see Tajiri in a match with the Godwinns. Hopefully the search gets better to identify these interesting historical nuggets.
  9. Perhaps I should have re-worded that because I don't want to make 'having presence' seem like such a pish-posh thing as its very important, and as you pointed out, it cannot (for the most part) be taught. I would like to see a Vadersault from her and some other cool 'big people' moves that have been done throughout history. Right now I am sure she is still working on not legit hurting these smaller women and the classics will most likely come in spring of 2016 against Bayley and even Emma (if they turn her face).
  10. Dana needs to cut down the amount of shit she does during her entrance. I know WWE wants the guys and gals to do the video game entrance, but FUCK! 3 motions fucking tops. Her and Emma doing their stuff together just looks so corny as its like what? One million movements combined? Less is more. I am going to say it... I am not a fan of Nia Jax. I haven't seen anything from here that makes her stand out like Kong did in TNA. I know this is NXT and I will have to give her time, but as of right now...she has presence and nothing more. The main and tag team match were good. Another enjoyable NXT show.
  11. Not sure about that, but I remember the IYH shows were like that. I don't mind about all the middle-nothing shows, but WM,SS,Survivor Series, and RR should all definitely have unique setups. But yeah, someone at the top loves doing the copy and paste which is why its hard to tell where WWE is filming these days unlike it was in the past where arenas had unique setups that stood out.
  12. I got to be honest, I don't see a problem with Sin Cara. I like the gimmick and Hunico is solid under the mask. The real Mistico was fucking up on a nightly basis where Hunico is pretty damn smooth 99% of the time. I wouldn't be opposed to a legit Sin Cara mid card title run with the U.S. strap.
  13. I read Hogan's contract at work today and a loud "FUCK!" rang out in the building. Fucking Christ Sipping Tea, we all knew Hogan was getting paid, but no one knew he was getting PAID. Fuck! Hogan's contract was crazy, but imagine those of Hall, Nash, Goldberg, Flair, Hart, Savage, Sting, and DDP. If I had to guess the only people in WWE with a contract even CLOSE to Hogan's 1998 contract would be Cena, Taker, and Lesnar (two of those guys are part-timers).
  14. Pretty good first episode. Devin is hot and I am not sure why WWE wanted her to become a wrestler? I don't want to go on my 'Everyone Doesn't Need to Wrestle in WWE' rant, but...EVERYONE DOESN'T NEED TO WRESTLE IN WWE. Surely she didn't just get hired for her looks right? The girl was wooden as an interviewer and couldn't cut it in the ring- how did she get a job with WWE? Actually, I don't want to know as I am sure the REAL story will just make everyone look bad. Bayley, Mojo, and Corbin are all over with the NXT audience, to varying degrees (yes and we can discuss workrate [or lack thereof in Mojo's case] ), but they all connect with the crowd because their NXT character's are based off their real lives. It works. I would like to see more of this. New Day was going NO WHERE until they were allowed to be themselves and cut whacky backstage promos for WWE.com, etc. I will definitely be checking out this series going forward.
  15. That was a good Raw. I normally find myself tapping out early or listening to Raw as background noise, but tonight was a good show. All matches delivered and everyone came off looking good.
  16. If I stopped watching WWE two years ago and just tuned in tonight, I would have assumed Del Rio never left. Its amazing how some people just fit right back into place (and not in a good way). I have seen ADR not sell out AAA arenas during his run, be awesome in LU, and make kids smile at indie shows while doing nothing but collecting a check- so I am not that PUMPED to see this guy returning as WWE doesn't keep people fresh and in about 3 months ADR will be just another guy on the roster - TNA style. IC match felt very short and un-important. Both HIAC matches were fun to watch. The Nikki/Charlotte match was weird. Clearly both women came to work last night, but shit just wasn't gelling or making much sense. Nikki goes for the kick from the top rope and takes a page out of Matt Bentley's book by still slapping the thigh despite missing the kick. The weirdest point of the night was the camera angle that looked like Nikki was just eating out Charlotte's ass on the top rope. I am not sure what they were going for, but that would have ended REALLY badly for both of them. I hope to not see that spot again. Charlotte and Nikki are the workrate Divas and Sasha and Banks are the story-tellers. A lot of what was going on during the HIAC didn't make any sense and the story was all-over-the-place. At WM 32 I want to see New Day come out with a choir and a unicorn float with Javier playing the trombone!
  17. Well Eva Marie has now challenged for the title. When did X-Pac heat become a good thing? I feel like it has gone from X-Pact, JJ (early TNA run), JBL, Vickie Guerrero, and now Eva Marie? Am I missing someone?
  18. That was his gimmick name on the indies and is something that WWE hans't tradmarked. If his WWE career ends tomorrow UUDD will continue with its host as Austin Creed instead of him forcing to re-brand himself.
  19. Mr. Perfect's leg perfectly (no pun) covers the TNA turnbuckle pads. But yes, that was a surprisingly good episode of table for 3. I didn't think those guys would have anything in common.
  20. Bliss has definitely improved, my issue with her is that everything she does is TOO much and not in a natural way. She hasn't mastered looking evil and commanding without the cliche constant fussing with her hair. Seeing a runway model do that in the early 90's was fierce. Seeing Alexa do it every week is just lame. The over-reaching and over use of mannerisms eventually don't end with her entrance but then are brought into the ring during the match and just makes other aspects seem overly contrived as it just doesn't come off as a heel being a heel, but rather someone thinking of how a heel is supposed to act and then executing the motions without any real reason. Eva Marie doesn't know how to be a heel, but she is slowly breaking out heel shit (even though a lot of her heat is fucking meta as hell) in her matches that come off a bit (though not a lot) natural and is related to the match. Bliss has a long way to go in learning that less in more and that the eyes and posture mean more than cosplaying the lead of a 1993 VS commercial.
  21. OH NOES!!!!11 THE GUD GUYS R WEARIN BADD GUYS SHIRTZZZ!!! WWE 2015 is still fucking nuts!
  22. This is so fucking silly that this is even a conversation in 2015. WWE just needs to either embrace kayfabe 100% or get rid of it and TRULY step into the realm of all other entertainment. No actor is living a movie gimmick in real life and if he DOES decide to do it, its usually in a fun way that grabs headlines and put smiles on people's faces. Everyone moves on from there. WWE trying to do a balance of kayfabe in 2015 leads to situations like this. That makes WWE look absolutely terrible.
  23. I have been catching up on Table For Three and the WCW Legends one is something else as I am just distracted by DDP's shirt...I have the EXACT same one.
  24. I would eat out the Big Bad Booty Daddy Buffett...wait a minute!
