  1. The only decent reasons I've seen people use for picking Henry is that the show means more to him than it does to Denny. She's apparently really wealthy (she chucks a gold plated baseball bat into the pool and doesn't care what happens to it afterwards) and doing well and doesn't seem to care all that much about actually getting the band back together.
  2. And I'm not gonna lie, I like Samurai's music. Like Supreme is a damn good rock song.
  3. I hope that when it's talked about in whatever textbook you're using, there's a passage that says, "a shot there will take the starch out of you in a hurry! Holy mackerel!"
  4. I did the side quest where you reunite his band. I actually kind of enjoyed it. I liked seeing Johnny kind of evolve into wanting to help you and be your friend. This may be a glitchy game and the actual playing as Silverhand parts slow it down but I think they did a good job with making you care about V's relationship with other characters. I felt sad when Jackie died, got invested in making things work with Panam and help her and want to help Johnny get some peace. Who did you guys pick to do the gig with you? I picked Denny. At the end of the day, Henry was a dick who filled up her pool with concrete and was an unstable drug addict.
  5. I mostly use Comrade's Hammer and with the right perks, you can one hit damn near anything with it.
  6. This happened in WWE ECW revival when she had a cup of coffee there. Here's the whole interview
  7. The Hound would probably take out Jon. He's just as good of a swordsman and he's way bigger. The Hound only lost one fight in the whole show and that was to Brienne and he was half-dead from an infection. He easily outclassed The Mountain both times they actually had straight up sword duels. He wrecked all of those Lannister soldiers in the inn fight and was killing guys left and right at Blackwater Bay until he got freaked out by the fire. He also damn near chopped Beric in half when they had their duel. The funny thing about Jon being presented as the best swordsman is that they don't show you much to back it up. At the Battle of Castle Black, he kills the Thenn chief by spitting in his face and hitting him with a hammer. Karl Tanner was probably gonna kill him at Craster's Keep but one of Craster's daughter wives stabbed him (Tanner) and that was distraction enough for Jon to stab him with Longclaw. I'd say show Jon's best sword fighting feat was beating the White Walker lieutenant.
  8. Yeah, Foley has amazing recall considering what he's put his brain through. Every now and then his timeline will be off but he'll get it right and remember the correct sequence of events once Conrad puts him back on track. But that's to be expected of anyone over the age of 50 who's trying to recall stuff that happened 20-30 years ago let alone someone who willingly let 275lbs guys bash them in the skull with steel chairs.
  9. Randy Savage/Ultimate Warrior/Ric Flair/Hulk Hogan
  10. I'd love to think we'd steamroll through that division but as a Canes fan and alum, I've heard this story many times before over the last 15 years or so. The Coastal has always been a pretty garbage division and yet we've only won it once despite usually having more talent than the other teams. But as long as we don't get hit by any major injuries, we should mow down everyone in the Coastal. UVa at UVa is always tough for UM and they return a great QB but their offensive line is a mess. That's the trap game IMO.
  11. Foley's is worth a listen. He's a good storyteller. He tends to ramble at times but Conrad is pretty good at reeling him in and it hasn't fallen into the "Conrad/other host reads a Meltzer report, Podcast subject immediately jumps to 'eff Dave Meltzer' rhetoric" rut that his other podcasts seem to get sucked into. Foley is genuinely a funny dude too.
  12. To be fair, given the weirdos he managed, it's not out of the realm of possibility that Gary Hart would've also had a cat army.
  13. I remember they promoted Hogan/Andre as kind of a main event of WMIV. Basically they sold the ppv as knowing that a new champion was going to be crowned and you'd get a guaranteed Hogan/Andre match.
  14. And don't forget that he outright asked her if drugs played a part and was also like, "well, what are you going to do to support your family now that your husband is dead" as she's about to have a fucking breakdown on the air.
  15. I keep saying that if Big E decides to not wrestle then he's the Price Is Right and/or Family Feud host we need and deserve. Imagine Big E narrating the alpine skiing game.
  16. Knowing how much he hated Mr. T, I'm surprised Piper didn't blame him for it.
  17. IIRC it was Andre who stole the paint remover. Or at least that's who Piper gave the credit to.
  18. I remember there was a pretty funny joke during the brief Road Warriors/Luger & Sting feud before their Chicago Street Fight where Luger says something like he's not ready for the street fight because he's actually from Oak Park or another Chicago suburb.
  19. If you had the VHS tape of this like I did, the 1st tape ended with Hogan/Andre and they did intermission. Can't remember what started the 2nd tape though. And yeah, that Hogan suplex on Virgil was uuuuugly. He had VIrgil up and was like, "nah, fuck this."
  20. He wasn't working a rest hold at 4:30 in the morning at WM30. I swear to jeebus, he's still got Reigns in an armbar as we speak. Also, 32 had that stupid Undertaker/Shane match with the magic box storyline that went nowhere.
  21. 32 is pretty bad. I think Triple H is still working on Roman Reigns' arm.
  22. Yeah, that sounds about right as I remember Mark Curtis was managing the R&R at that point.
