  1. You forgot The Road Warriors in 1988.
  2. In the aforementioned WarGames match, can we swap the Harris Twins out for Godfather and Val Venis aka Supply and Demand?
  3. Is it wrong that I kind of want to see that WarGames match take place? I saw Ricky Morton wrestle in a high school gym three years ago and he can still sell his ass off.
  4. Triple swerve when they reveal themselves to be Jacob and Eli Blu complete with Uncle Zeb in tow.
  5. To quote Dennis Reynolds, "That is Hulk Hogan's signature look. Blond chinese hair and skin of a hotdog. It's awesome!" Also, where can I buy that wonderful t-shirt Hogan is wearing?
  6. But if you graduate, you get a Waterpik.
  7. Can't say I've ever cried over a movie. I did get a little sad when Laughlin got killed by Buzzsaw in Running Man. "I'm going somewhere, but not with you. Buzzsaw took care of my traveling arrangements. Don't let us down. I don't want to be the only asshole in heaven, Ben." Also, I once told Bret Hart, with tears in my eyes, that I loved his match against Booker T at Bash at the Beach 1999.
  8. I'm really bummed I've never gotten to see Jake the Snake ddt someone. If Jake was on the card and didn't ddt someone, I'd be very disappointed. I also never got to see Sandman do his full-on ECW entrance. He was in WCW the couple of times I got to go to ECW shows in college.
  9. He kind of has a point here but on the other hand, I don't like it if a guy works in a signature spot just for the sake of working it in. I'd much rather see a good match than guys running through stuff just to get their stuff in. Then again, I guess Flair came up in an era where you weren't wrestling on tv every week so even if he did the same spots every night, it was for a different audience and it wasn't televised to millions of people.
  10. He's not that good at losing the title he worked hard to get within two weeks of getting it, getting his g/f stolen, changing tires, getting pushed off a stage in a wheelchair by Kane and then getting his ass kicked at every turn. I'm not a huge fan of the guy or anything but how can you expect anyone to get over when you book them to look like that? It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
  11. I don't think anyone was calling for the guy to be world champ but like you said, a midcard mainstay and not being made to look like an f'n doofus every week shouldn't be too much to ask.
  12. I have no clue. I just remember watching a Clash of the Champions match where Hayes was with them and the announcers kept saying he was taking over as their adviser since the DA broke up.
  13. I remember Eaton and Arn being managed by Michael Hayes at one point post-Dangerous Alliance. Eaton got turfed by Watts before Flair came back but Eaton and Hayes joining up with Flair and Anderson would've been an interesting Horsemen combo.
  14. Tully wasn't doing much of anything at that point. He was back at Slamboree 94 so it's not out of the realm of possibility that if need be, they could've gotten him beforehand as his failed drug test was 4 years prior to Roma being in the Horsemen. Failing that, maybe they have Anderson and Flair turn heel and join up with The Blondes? There really weren't too many possibilities that I can think of in WCW 1993 aside from maybe Regal or Orndorff. Here's a link to the 1993 WCW roster, maybe there's someone I'm overlooking: http://www.solie.org/wcw93.txt
  15. Wait, so that story is actually true? Watts really gave Bruno shit over his hair? Where can I read/hear about this?
  16. One thing I always wondered about with cop shows/movies is when certain departments/agencies argue over who gets to work a case. Does that really happen? I have to think that it's closer to the way The Wire portrayed it where they didn't want to catch a bunch of cases (especially difficult ones) b/c it would mess up their stats.
  17. I think I know how I got to have 2 companions. I had to go get Cass for the Van Graffs but instead of letting them kill her, I killed them. So even though she's my companion, I didn't recruit her through the normal means which meant I was free to get Arcade. What sucks is that for whatever reason I can't start up Arcade's side quest. I've even dismissed Cass (she's waiting in the Lucky 38) but I still can't get Arcade to give me his quest even though I've gone through the triggers (going to the old Vertebird, going to REPCO and a couple of others).
  18. Okerlund teamed with Hogan vs. Mr Fuji and George Steele and trained for the match, so he gets props from the workers even though it was a comedy match where he had like two seconds of actual ring time. Bobby Heenan gets even more cred. He looks like a million bucks in his match with Salvagore Bellomo. Bobby used to be a wrestler as well. Also, I've seen matches where he took better bumps than the guy he was managing.

    Fargo

The actor who plays Mr. Wrench is deaf so he actually does know sign language. He played the grown-up version of the son in There Will Be Blood. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Harvard
  20. Here's what I see Russo booking this year's Money in the Bank: Match 1: There's a ref bump, Ambrose gets the case but Rollins attacks him and steals the case. The ref awakens to see Rollins holding the case so he's crowned the winner. Match 2: Roman Reigns is going up the ladder and has the belts within grasp but someone raises the belts out of his reach. Orton manages to make it up the ladder and knocks Reigns off to gets the belts. Rollins cashes in to end the show with the help of The Authority. Keep in mind that this is Attitude Era Russo with Vince McMahon filtering him so this would actually be interesting to see play out on TV. Your scenario for Match 1 sounds like the infamous Powerbomb match b/t Sid and Nash at Starrcade where Jarrett hit Sid with a guitar while the ref was bumped and Nash just convinced the ref that he did the damage to Sid with a powerbomb and won the match.
  21. You forgot where WCW signs Hardcore Holly who keeps the "Hollycaust" name for his finisher and beats them all with it.
  22. Is she spitting it on people to blind them during matches? I've only seen her current schtick a couple of times so I don't know. I think Rollins could probably pull off the mist as well.
  23. Wrestling needs more mist. I feel like Ambrose could pull off Asian mist even though he's white.
