  1. I think Reigns should've stayed with the original riot gear as well. I don't like the trim on his new stuff.
  2. Quick question, was talking on another board about guys who used lariats as finishers and I seem to remember Batista using a lariat as a secondary finisher during his Evolution days. Didn't he do an angle where he was knocking people out with it (specifically Jericho)?
  3. Same here. There’s just too much filler and pointless rambling. I usually fast forward through the usual 20 minute opening monologue unless something big is happening. There’s no way I could get through RAW without my DVR.
  4. She stayed hot.
  5. Only if he dresses like this: I don't care if the kids don't get it. Screw them. Nah, it ain't white boy day. They got everything here from a diddled-eyed joe to damned if I know.
  6. Pygmy by Chuck Palahniuk was a difficult book to read. I got through about the first 50 pages and lost patience with it.
  7. I have a flare gun now and it's fun to light them on fire and shoot them in the back while them run away like little girls.
  8. I didn't have a problem with my feed at all last night. I was watching on my PS3.
  9. I have a picture of myself fistbumping Sid. That was the one and only thing on my bucket list.
  10. He had one big moment against Jamie Noble. Nidia had stolen his mask and was parading around with it. I remember Noble was wrestling someone and after the match, the lights went out and Helms appeared in the ring. Chokeslammed Noble and took his mask back. Crowd popped pretty big for that.
  11. It'll be worth it for Cena being laid out by Brock at the end and Ambrose/Rollins has all the potential in the world to be one of the matches of the year, it feels the most important match on the show. I didn't know so many people were so uptight about watching wrestling, jeez. Seriously. A bunch of care lords out there.
  12. Oh my god, I was wrong. It was Earth all along. Yes, you've finally made a monkey out of me.
  13. I watched the SNME that had Macho vs. Jake in a rare heel vs. heel match. Jesse the Body was in all his glory. He had a great line that I'm surprised he got away with on NBC. Mean Gene was interviewing Jake and Jake was taunting Gene with his snake. The hand Gene was holding the mic with was shaking pretty badly and Jesse goes, "is Okerlund holding a microphone or a vibrator?"
  14. The battle royal was the dumbest one b/c he was in there with about 4 or 5 potential ppv opponents. Sting, Luger, Hall, Giant come to mind.
  15. Wasn't it Halloween Havoc where Jericho tried to make it happen and basically booked himself against "fake Goldberg?" That was Fall Brawl. According to Jericho's book, Terry Taylor came up with the idea of him wrestling the midget. Most of that feud seemed to be Jericho and Terry Taylor just coming up with off the wall stuff on their own and then Goldberg getting pissed at people thinking he was a part of a comedy angle or something.
  16. As a one-off performance, what about Perfect in the 2002 Rumble? Went downhill after that but he was great for that one night.
  17. Please tell me this led to an 8 man tag that someone has footage of.
  18. I watched WW3 1998 and man, was Kevin Nash lazy. He basically eliminated everyone in his ring in like two minutes and stood in his ring for most of the battle royal. Then when they consolidated the rings, I don't remember him doing anything except a punch exchange with The Giant and then throwing a half-assed big boot to eliminate Luger and Hall at the same time. Hall and The Giant actually worked pretty hard throughout the whole thing. And there's absolutely no reason Goldberg couldn't have done a squash match with Jericho on this ppv. Jericho had that terrible match with Duncum and Goldberg just did a couple of run-ins.
  19. Lonesome Road is pretty fun so far. The Deathclaws are a huge pain in the ass b/c they can kill you with one or two swipes. I guess it's ok though b/c in Fallout 3, I was really unimpressed with how something so big and scary could get taken down so easily so it's cool that they upped the difficulty on them. I probably have the highest rep with the Strip. I'm idolized by both (I think anyway) but I've done more stuff on the Strip.
  20. There was a discussion about best ring sliders a while back. Tommy Young has to be up there.
  21. I recall Tommy Young having to stand on the floor to count a few times. Guys would be close to the ropes so he would stand on the outside to get a better vantage point of their shoulders to see if they were down and if they were, he'd just start counting there.
  22. I believe it was Martel's shoot. He said something like Bravo had a friend over to watch hockey, the guy said he had to go to the bathroom as an excuse to get behind Bravo and shot him in the back of the head. Edit--should've read the whole thread. Someone above me explained it.
  23. I remember that PWI magazine that had the picture of him bearhugging Hogan into oblivion with the title, "The man Hulk Hogan can't beat!"
  24. Well Sting did beat the tar out of Flair at WW3 1995 (I feel so stupid typing that ppv name) so I'd say that portion of the turn didn't work out so well for Flair. However, it did lead to the reformation of the Horsemen and him getting the belt at Starrcade 95 so it wasn't all bad.
  25. I'm doing the Lonesome Road DLC now. Man, fuck those Tunnelers.
