  1. Heidi Lovelace, Kimber Lee, Drew Gulak, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven. I'm probably missing a few.
  2. I prefer Supercard to this game, honestly - but this is a nice twist on a Bejeweled type game.
  3. If we can't talk politics in the Life Events thread, we shouldn't be able to talk about goddamn baseball and minor league football in the wrestling thread.
  4. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/canadian-affected-trump-travel-ban-refugees-immigrants-1.3957059
  5. Lesnar versus Reigns for the Universal Title - the battle of the only two people in history to have beaten Undertaker at WrestleMania. Smells like shit a SummerSlam match in the making.
  6. I remember the last time Brock held the title "hostage"... and I didn't mind it. Just like I didn't mind Rollins being champion for a long time - a lot of people hated it, some people liked it. Also, you might think it's shit, but did you just watch the Royal Rumble? Their specialty is shit, bruh. You're either getting Orton/Cena or telegraphing Orton splitting from Bray and facing him at 'Mania.
  7. Honestly I would prefer that, because Corbin is all kinds of awesome lately. I used to hate him in NXT, but he's really come into his own lately. He just needs to be more comfortable on the mic and he's golden.
  8. Why? It's just a prop. Do people actually believe Jericho/KO for the Universal Title will happen when the US Title is right there and held by Jericho? Goldberg and Lesnar are the two biggest names they have. Goldberg/Lesnar - Universal Title Undertaker/Reigns HHH/Rollins Owens/Jericho - US Title Orton/Wyatt - World Heavyweight Title Styles/Shane O'Mac Cena/Joe
  9. I'm sorry but I don't see Kevin Owens going over Goldberg in a title match, no matter how it happens. And we're talking about logic and WWE in the same breath? C'mon.
  10. Goldberg beat Lesnar in less than 2 minutes, eliminated him from the Rumble... and you think Owens is going to beat Goldberg, somehow? Goldberg is taking the title at Fastlane, and is going to lose it to Lesnar at WrestleMania. That's just how it's going to be.
  11. Well, someone has to pull the strings, puppets aren't autonomous.
  12. Meltzer said Goldberg is booked for the Universal Title match at Fastlane. So.....
  13. A federal judge temporarily halted Trump's Immigration ban. It really only affected those stuck in airports though, I guess?
  14. The finish to the main event successfully convinced my buddy that was at the show (and others around him) that Nakamura was actually injured. I had to remind him that they wouldn't let him back in the ring if he actually was injured (much less take a single leg crab and various stomps to the injured leg). He worried me at first, since he was telling me about it before I had seen the match or any spoilers. I don't like Bobby Roode, much less as champion, but if this frees up Nak to be at the Rumble or go to the main roster soon, I'm fine with it. If not Nak, who does he feud with now? I felt like Almas/Strong was the MOTN. I was glued to that match more than anything (besides the womens match, which was WAY too short). It looked super stiff at times, and had some moments where I legit said Oh My God out loud. That backbreaker turnbuckle spot was crazy. The aforementioned womens match was alright, I guess. I exected this to blow away the rest of the card, but it was only a few minutes long. Nikki Cross was the clear MVP of this match. Asuka was Asuka and just went through the motions. She doesn't seem to be terribly motivated right now, but I don't blame her. I think it's pretty obvious Nikki will get a 1vs1 match soon, then probably lose, and Ember Moon will be the one to step up to the plate and finally dethrone Asuka. I like Peyton & Billie, but their in-ring gear is horrid. Would have liked to see DIY keep the titles a little bit longer, but who doesn't love a good monster tag team? There's money in some babyface team taking the titles away. Logic would say TM61, but with one of them injured... who knows. I hope DIY doesn't start their implosion storyline now, I want to see them stay together - such a good team. I'm curious as to why Samoa Joe was treated like he wasn't someone on the NXT rosters. Usually those "wrestler watching the show in the crowd" segments on a Takeover is reserved for a "free agent", a main roster member or a legend. Didn't give a fuck about Michael Hayes, but hey it's Texas so let's trot him out. Tyler Bate is good and all, but the real highlight was Matt Riddle behind him. I liked Rollins' invasion of the show, too. That storyline desperately needs to be furthered, and going to Papa H's turf where he's considered a God is one way to do it. And he didn't get booed for calling out the NXT Savior! It doesn't feel like NXT is an island unto itself anymore, either.
  15. Breitbart will always be on Trump's side because he keeps hiring people from that website to work in the White House (Julia Hahn is the latest one), but Fox News has actually called out Sean Spicer and Trump on their shit in the past day or so. Chris Wallace confronted Priebus about the Inauguration photos thing, and Alan Colmes has always been critical of Trump.
  16. DDT Universe is live, and El Generico is right on the front page! I saw a few 2012 shows but I don't see that much depth just browsing around the site.
  17. As a commentator on CNN said last night.... more people will believe Sean Spicer than they do CNN or any media outlet, despite having video proof. Oh, and Kellyanne Conway flat out said that Trump isn't releasing his tax returns.
  18. Has anyone been watching The Great Indoors? It's pretty funny, it's got Joel McHale as the lead, and among others, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Stephen Fry as supporting characters (but still part of the main crew). I think I'm in love with Susannah Fielding and Christine Ko. Pretty funny show about how different two generations can really be.
  19. I'm watching early 90s WWF while under the influence of pain medication. Is that David Lynch??? No, it's just Jack Tunney.
  20. Edge & Christian have to be the ones to induct him. Anyone else and it just won't be as special.
  21. I literally got goosebumps reading that, then an ear-to-ear grin on my face. That's wonderful news.
  22. I think this is probably true. If you believe Bruce Prichard, Heyman was in the room when Vince pulled out key members of creative and management and asked them their opinion on purchasing WCW. This was before ECW even filed for bankruptcy. ECW was still putting on it's "final shows" and Heyman was in creative meetings and giving Vince McMahon his opinion on whether or not he should buy WCW - that's kind of crazy to me.
