  1. Against ranked teams, the SEC West is giving up 40 points a game in the bowls.
  2. He had a couple good years a decade ago before getting killed by incompetence and a couple seasons where Iowa lost their top six or seven (literally) running backs to injury. They haven't recovered. Also, he was never that good to begin with, despite having a bunch of NFL teams look at him.
  3. Good defense, inconsistent, sketchy QB...perfect fit for Rex.
  4. He then added 222 yards and 5 touchdown in 3 quarters of their bowl game.
  5. His 2628 yards came in 11 regular season games, no bowl game, no conference championship game.
  6. Suh wins appeal, reduced to just a 70k fine.
  7. I'm watching ESPN today so... Can somebody please find every copy of the Kevin Hart Madden ad and make them disappear? Thanks in advance.
  8. No basis for a lawsuit. Only case would be if Skip knew it was false when he said it. And all Skip has to say is "look at all the stories of him drinking" or something similar and bye bye lawsuit
  9. That Lions team was legit good enough to win a Super Bowl. They won 12 games, beat AFC champs Buffalo - in Buffalo - and killed Aikman and Emmitt in the playoffs. They had tons of stars on offense and a decent defense. They just had the misfortune of being that good the same year Washington had maybe the greatest team of all-time.And then Fontes tore the whole thing apart the next year. Sigh...
  10. Suh didn't have one stomp let alone an extra one.
  11. Black Flag is widely available dirt cheap. And Unity's main issues HAVE been attended to. The game is very solid.
  12. Yeah, he lost the team so much, they played their asses off in a meaningless season finale - and won it - before giving him the game ball and a Gatorade bath.
  13. Stanford was 1-11 and losing by an average of 21 points every week the year before he got there. Four years later, they're 12-1 with the best QB in college football and the program is now one of the best in the country. And that's with really tough admissions standards.Michigan is a .500 team that's had several top 20 recruiting classes, a gigantic national following, and easier admissions. There's absolutely no reason to think Harbaugh will not be successful. And, really, anybody diminishing the success that Harbaugh has had at all three coaching stops is delusional. Outside of his first two years at Stanford, when he led Stanford to the biggest upset (in terms of the spread) in college football history, he averaged 10 wins a year. In the NFL, he averaged 11 wins a year and damn near won a Super Bowl. The guy can coach. Period.
  14. You'll be fine. Might take you a couple minutes to get used to the controls. You won't be lost story-wise. Unity is its own story and requires no knowledge of other games in the series. But it wouldn't hurt to start with Black Flag, which is freaking awesome.
  15. Big shock there - not. The Falcons went out and played yesterday like they were actively trying to get him fired.
  16. Amazon hasn't killed small, independent booksellers, it's just forced them to move online, just like eBay has done to countless businesses (like sports card stores). There are tons of booksellers operating under the Amazon Marketplace umbrella. Not gonna apologize for buying my used books there. As for their interactions with authors, I can't speak with any authority. I know lots of authors are upset but I also know their main competitor - Apple - was breaking the law with their actions. None of that has anything to do with used booksellers on the Barnes and Noble site listing crap they don't actually have and pissing me off.
  17. I missed his teammates turning on and attacking him
  18. Some highly questionable reviews that went against Detroit, a punt return touchdown with an incredibly obvious hold right at the point of attack, and at least one missed roughing call. Detroit didn't deserve to win but the "bad officiating" thing is not even remotely unreasonable. Especially for Lions fans who've watched the NFL screw their team for years.
  19. My best friend, who is the biggest Packers fan in the world, didn't think he was in. Hell, Rodgers took a frigging knee a yard behind the line...
  20. Brady Hoke must be a legendary moron to do as poorly as he did this year then. Wow. He was terrible at either evaluating or developing skill position players. Literally, the only difference maker he brought in his whole time there was the TE/WR Funchess. Everybody else has been a dud, serviceable player at best. They have no dynamic athletes on offense.Mostly the developing part. He had no problem bringing in guys EVERYBODY thought were great, like the #1 RB in the country last year along with Shane Morris, both of whom were universally thought to be great. Both guys have done nothing.
  21. All I know is Detroit goes to Seattle and Green Bay goes to San Francisco.
  22. No argument there. Even though he wasn't playing, JFF clearly just doesn't have his priorities right.
  23. Yeah, the problem is clearly the guy throwing the party, not the idiots ego went and couldn't make it to with the next day.
