  1. Only one failed to make weight actually, Renee Forte. Gastelum made weight on his third attempt. Also, Dolce claimed someone messed up their own special scale they were using. So it wasn't the commission's scale that was wrong.
  2. People crapped on it because Pitbull got ignored after Curran lost a one-sided decision. And Bellator is the promotion that says title shots are earned not given. Bjorn Rebney says they don't let matchmaking decide title fights.
  3. If it looks like a duck, if it quacks like a duck, if it walks like a duck...it ain't a freaking goose.
  4. Watch out MMA world Honestly, Punk's strategy is pretty smart here. If he ever does return to wrestling, he will get a sweet Brock Lesnar or Batista deal.
  5. I'd really love it if Austin could get Sting or Warrior on his show. Those could be incredible interviews. Really enjoying Austin and Jericho's shows. Just sounds like they are shooting the breeze and having fun and they seem to be naturals at it.
  6. Good fight and all, but how does it own the haters? Since the fight was a great fight and a close war, does Straus not deserve a rematch now based on the Bellator rules?
  7. How did Abdullah the Butcher get inducted then? Is it for his work and recognition in Japan?
  8. LOL, Shields will shut his damn mouth if his buddy Diaz cock blocks him to a title shot.
  9. Per Fox Sports 2 announce team: If Hendricks cannot make weight and he wins the fight, he will not be champion. If Lawler wins, he will be the new champion. Fight will still be five rounds.
  10. Hendricks weighed in at 171.5 pounds on his first attempt...WTF
  11. Only fight I'm really dreading is Shields/Lombard, mainly because I don't think Lombard has a style that will stop Shields.
  12. To break up the monotony of the trolling. Here's a new Winter Soldier clip featuring Cap and Falcon http://youtu.be/jqVHNzRtnlY
  13. Majestic Prince and Valvrave are on Crunchy Roll. I think both are decent mecha shows worth checking out if you haven't seen them.
  14. I remember interviewing Ricardo Mayorga in the lead-up to his Shine Fights thing with Din Thomas that never happened. It was amusing at least.
  15. The show is getting more bizarre with each passing episode. I wonder what it is they were going for with this type of mash-up. I mean, I admire it on some level because I don't think I've ever seen an anime show quite like this before. On the other hand, the show is batshit insane. And I mean, not saying I don't like it because I do. But its still insane. I mean just for example, Buddy Complex, twists and all, its pretty straight forward for its genre. Nothing really different or unique about it. You can find a lot of shows that are exactly like buddy complex. With this show, it was like as I said, almost like they were trying to do their own version of Kick-Ass but using the tropes of Japanese anime and tokukatsu type shows. Parts of it even gave me kind of like a Japanese-Watchmen type vibe. But now with this direction...it's almost like I don't know what they are going to do next. I can only assume now that these aliens are like the aliens from Abyss except instead of stumbling onto CNN they stumbled onto Power Rangers and empathized with Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd.
  16. Latest Winter Soldier clip featuring Nick Fury and Alexander Pierce. I wonder if what was going on in SHIELD this week had anything to do with the plot of Winter Soldier.
  17. That takes it to 10 seasons I think, but yeah, sounds nuts. Well when you have a hit franchise like this, got to milk for all its worth. Should How I Met Your Mother have dragged on for 9 seasons?
  18. Well I'm aware there are going to be actual monsters in it and stuff. Is that what you're referring?
  19. Wonder why they couldn't get the prelims on FS1. Does it have to do with how many fights they can allocate on FS1 or does FS1 have some big programming at that time.
  20. Two newer shows I started watching and enjoy: Samurai Flamenco - sort of a very post-modern ish show. Basically, imagine a Japanese version of Kick-Ass if it wasn't as dark and was a little less satirical, profane, and gory. Sort of a slow build, but I really like the animation and the characters are being developed quite well so far. Buddy Complex - sort of like the makers of Gundam doing a Gundam-esque/mecha show that isn't Gundam. It's quite conventional, and personally all the overtly homo-erotic humor is kinda funny because the show is so blatant about it. Mecha designs and animation are really good. The time travel concept makes it interesting because you know how the show is already ending in a sense so you are trying to piece how it will come together.
