I sort of did, given how NJPW can never seem to give him any sort of sustained push. I was thinking that he'd win the whole thing, and *THEN* Kojima would turn on him, since he took his spot.

I can understand them keeping the scores so close, since there are so many shows being run in this year's tournament. But, it's making the Tenzan fanboy in me worried. I figure he's definitely going to be SANADA and Fale, and 50/50 that he beats Goto, and the best I see with Tanahashi is draw.

I'll have to give that one a whirl if I can find it up here. I've had Sam Adams Got to Gose, and the Southern Tier Cherry Gose, and neither did much of anything for me.

That'd be a great way to beat one of the top guys, to keep him out of the finals, without having him do a clean job.

I was curious if Sanada had improved at all over the last couple of years, since he used to routinely disappoint me with his work in All Japan. But, if he can't even have a good match with Okada, then I think I have the answer.

Some of us old timers remember that way back in 2002, green as grass Hiroshi Tanahashi was actually the block leader after the second day.

The problem with being old and set in your ways is when technology comes along and forces you to change. I've used Cored Wordperfect 11 for my writing pretty much since I started in 2003. Well, I got a new computer last week and installed the program on the disc. I wrote my review up, when to publish it, and got an error. It turns out that WP11 isn't compatible with Windows 7. So, I have to upgrade to a newer version, which I can get Best Buy for $60.

I have the NFL Roku app, and when browsing through games to watch highlights, it gives the option to watch the full game with GamePass, so I would think that it's compatible. The wife told me to just go ahead and get it and it'll be considered my father's day gift. So I'll probably jump on it in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to relive Thanksgiving, without feeling like I was going to have a heart attack during that final Packers drive!

My six year old has picked up a language issue. It started with her saying "What the hell" which the wife didn't think was a problem, although I disagreed. Then it turned into "What the fuck?" Which we both had a big problem with. After several days of reprimands, threats of spankings, threats of loss of privileges, loss of said privileges, and threats of soap in the mouth, the wife decided enough was enough. She put pepper on her tongue! Two rounds of that ended "WTF" but then Sunday she started with "Oh shit!" and after several warnings, she got another helping of it tonight. The last thing she told me tonight was that she wasn't going to say anymore bad words. I hope it sticks.

I don't believe that he has. They were in opposite blocks in 2005, 2006, and 2007. Nakamura won in 2008 and 2009. Tenzan missed 2010. Nakamura won 2011, Tenzan forfeited 2013 with an injury, and opposite blocks in 2014 and 2015. I don't think they had any other singles matches outside the G-1. Tenzan spent most of 2008-09 feuding with Makabe and later Iizuka, then he had the long layoff, and when he came back he got back together with Kojima.

I'm long past the point of believing that Tenzan will ever get a sustained top-level push. But, I'm hoping for at least a good showing in the G-1. I'd mark out like a mofo if he actually won the thing, and Tenzan/Okada is a fresh match, and could be a lot of fun. I went nuts in the 2012 G-1 when he *FINALLY* got a win over Nakamura.

If they went to the trouble of doing the storyline of Tenzan being pissed that he got left out, and then proving he deserved to be in there, may be he'll get a decent push this year.

I'm writing up a review on Friday, and need to double check something to make sure I'm remembering correctly. I pull up my website to double check and it's gone! I've had it for ten years, and the last payment was made at the beginning of May. Of course, it's a Holiday weekend, so the hosting office is closed until tomorrow.

I helped my Father get a car ten years ago, and being Mr. Unreliable, he started slacking on the payments and in 2009 it got repossessed and my credit went into the shitter, and ten years later it's all behind me and my credit it good again. Why am I telling this story in the swell news thread? Because the bank got slapped with a class action suit for some sort of improper doing as it goes to repossessing and I got check in the mail today for $341!

I'll look into that. Chicago is one of the NFL's best markets, so there has to be something out there. Thanks, guys!

I thought it was $100 for the whole season? My buddy has Red Zone, and he loves it, but I'm not fond of it. I mainly just want to be able to follow my Bears games, as well as Packers games so that I can root against them.

I'm considering getting the NFL Game Pass service for this season, and am just wondering if anyone here uses (or has used) it, and can tell me if I should go for it or stay away from it. Being a Bears fan in Central NY, I'm not getting too many chances to watch them live this season. And being able to at least listen to the audio live seems to be better than staring at my phone or computer and waiting for the app/website to update.

Two more reasons my six year old is awesome. 1. She was playing with her Elsa from Frozen Teddy Bear, and started making it slap at condiment packets that the and wife and I left on the table the night before. I asked what she was doing, and she tells me that "Elsa is hitting the sauce!" She learned this because the bear has a gizmo that sings when you squeeze the belly and it needs new batteries, so it's way slow and deep, and the wife told me that it sounds like Elsa is hitting the sauce. 2. We let her take the wife's ipod to bed, because she likes to listen to music to go to sleep (I'm the same way), and we can send her messages to the ipd, usually stuff like "Brush your teeth, or "turn it down." Well. she sent one to us last night that said "They make sure you aint booty"

It's really easy to drink for an IPA.

I can drive, I just prefer not to. My wife claims I drive like a maniac, and usually does the driving, so it all works out. My driving is limited to me going somewhere by myself, or driving her if she's been drinking.

When the wife and I were in Los Angeles for New Year's, I stopped by El Segundo Brewing to get a bottle of broken skull. I tweeted a picture of the bottle and commented that's how I was ringing in the new year. Twenty minutes later I got a tweet back from Steve saying "Same here!" and marked the hell out!

My girls are all about the New Day! Every morning, when I'm watching TV before getting my six year old ready for school, she wants to know she can watch the Booty Wrestlers. They keep telling my wife that they need Booty O's for breakfast because 'They make sure you aint Booty!'

I work overnight shift in an office building in East Syracuse, NY. I more or less do the grunt work to keep things afloat. I answer emails, I crunch numbers and prepare reports, I prepare mailings to go out. Over the last year to a year and a half, they've been slowly adding more and more stuff onto my pile of tasks. It got the point that when I was having my quarterly meeting with the bosses, and went over all I do on a nightly basis with the CEO, he turned to the GM and asked her why *I* was doing so much, and the GM (who was one of the ones piling the tasks on) basically told him "Because of reasons."

I swear that I'm not trolling anyone here. But, why is everyone so upset that they killed her off? To me, she was the least interesting, and least believable member of the team. Oliver was trained while on the Island. Diggle was a soldier. Thea had training from Malcolm. Sara trained with the league. Laurel took kickboxing classes at the YMCA, and was able to better trained assassins in hand to hand combat. Plus, that bit where she would faux yell while doing her sonic waves thing was just annoying. I wished they'd kept Sara and shipped Laurel off to the Legends of Tomorrow.

Fed Ex was apparently working yesterday! I'd ordered something and the tracking # said it would arrive by 12/24. Well the 24th came and went with nothing. I check it yesterday, just for the hell of it, and it was delivered yesterday afternoon at noon!
