Dude, I know you had a bad week when it comes to wrestling, and therefore I will be a gentleman and not mention things and instead just ask if you understand the things that people who do like him like about his matches? Opinions are well and good but empathy is good too.
-
You put more thought into it than they do though.
-
That leaves us with Big Show and J and J security. Alright, if you had Nidia, Serena Deeb, and Big Show's father's casket being dragged by this, you could probably put something together.
-
I think they avoided that as a way to not make Cena look weak considering what he was doing but then he charged the ring and was able to stop Rollins anyway after the fact so he just looked like a moron since he could have just done that in the first place.
-
That actually explains Fandango too.

I'm watching this thing on 2x speed right now and I've hit the Ryback interview and I wish there was a 3x speed option. I get that the Secret thing was important in his life but unless they're going to make him a Scientologist heel, it's probably best not to mention it.

I wasn't paying attention. What happened to Christian at the end there?

WELL, now I want Sting to death drop Cena after he beats Lesnar (letting Rollins cash in), then Sting gets to disrupt the "Welcome to the Authority" party the next night like it was 1997 and finally he explains himself that Cena was not worthy of his hero babyface mantle since he let the Authority back after his intervention. Then they can wrestle at Mania and THAT is the biggest match they can put on. Sting vs Cena.

I realize we're not to the Rumble yet, but things really do feel so wide open right now, much more so than in the last few years and I want to do some blatant and crazy speculation. Bear with me The Title Match: This can go a few ways, certainly. Brock© vs Reigns is what I'd consider to be the most obvious choice if I was making odds but it's hardly a sure thing. It's very likely that Cena beats Brock, which could give us Cena© vs Reigns, but if that happens, it's really more likely that Rollins cashes in which could give us Rollins© vs Cena or Rollins© vs Reigns or even some sort of triple threat that could look like Rollins © vs Reigns vs Cena or Rollins© vs Reigns vs Ambrose (in a sort of Shield explodes triple threat). Rollins: Let's say that Rollins doesn't have the title. He could still be up against Reigns in some sort of blow off, or in that Shield triple threat. More likely though we'd get Rollins vs Orton unless they blow that off on the February PPV (which could make some sense if he cashes in on Cena, but only if Cena has someone else he's paired with or if he's worked into the title match at Wrestlemania). Undertaker/Sting/HHH/Batista?: Is he wrestling? Is he not? No one has any real idea. There's the thought that he gets paid either way so Vince will want to use him. The three possibilities I've heard bandied around are Undertaker vs Sting, Undertaker vs Lesnar II, or Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt. They're all viable possibilities if he's wrestling. If they don't go with Taker/Sting, do they go with Sting vs HHH? Sting vs Wyatt? If they don't go with Sting vs HHH, what do they do with HHH? Is Batista coming back? His run sort of bombed in 2014 but he also was in the biggest movie of the year in a likable role, had a number of strong media appearances, and has said that he wanted to have a retirement match against Hunter. Do they do Batista vs HHH then? Is that even possible with his filming schedule? Cena: So if the main event is Brock vs Reigns or Rollins vs Reigns, what do they do with Cena? That's almost why I could see him attached to the main event, whatever it is. Vince has a liking for triple threats in the Mania main event when it comes to pushing a newer guy. He might think the match needs Cena as well. If not, though, what's left? Cena vs Ambrose? Does he get whoever's left out of Undertaker, Sting, and HHH? Will they feed him with Cena vs Rusev already? The midcard: There are some logical possibilities here: Barrett vs Ziggler over the real IC Champion, but after that Wyatt needs to end up somewhere if he's not with the Undertaker. Likewise Ambrose. Likewise Rusev. Likewise Sheamus if he's back from injuries. Maybe Do they run Rowan vs Harper? Mizdow vs Miz? Goldust vs Stardust? Even splitting one team up, they're going to have way too many tag teams (Ascension, Goldust/Stardust, Cesaro/Kidd, Usos, Miz/Mizdow, Matadors) and will probably have to do a scramble or battle royal. Bryan: Who knows, right? Has he REALLY not done the Tommy John surgery yet just because he's stubborn and holistic or does he think he'll be back on his own relatively soon? I still think they should protect both Sting and Taker in a tag with each other but I haven't heard that rumored as even an outside possibility (I think the most marketable main event they have to the general public/casual fans is actually a tag, something like Sting/Taker vs HHH/Brock, but there's no way in hell that's happening). Is this the most open the top of a Mania card has been in years?

Is Sleepy Hollow on Netflix/Prime?

I plan on starting Trails in the Sky tomorrow on my PSP emulator on my tablet. I'm totally on the same page as the rest of you guys, a page in 2006.

I'm pretty forgiving to this stuff and even i thought the rescue of Gandalf scene was terrible, full of a lot of stuff that we were better off never seeing.

I could live with that move if it knocked out both... Wait, the other guy got right up. Nevermind.

[WWE NETWORK] Technical and General Content Question/Comments
Matt D replied to RIPPA's topic in WWE PROGRAMMING
I had the reverse problem. Wasn't working in Chrome but was in Firefox. -
The problem, John, is that he's bombing on two minute backstage promos that they could pre-tape and get right. They're not seeing any problem with his delivery when it's right in their face. It's well and good to say that Wrestler X can get over if they just do Y, but more often than not they DON'T do Y and Wrestler X gets over if he actually gets over despite what they actually do, and I'm not sure that Reigns can manage that right now. I'm with whoever said they should give him another year. His goal for this Mania should be Rusev and the US title and not whoever has the World title.

I loathe Donna and her office supply solutions to complex intergalactic problems while the Doctor clapped like a toy monkey and went "Brilliant!" You can say that Clara had the Doctor a bit henpecked, but at least she managed it with a general level of intelligence. Donna was an idiot savant at best and generally just an idiot. Martha's fine but the pining got old very quickly and she really didn't break out of it until the season finale.
-
Yeah, but none of us have WWE stock. I'll take Barrett over Reigns too if that helps? Part of the problem is that they're utilizing Reigns poorly. The guy has a natural easy-going charisma but he's terrible at the scripted promos.
-
The issue is that we like Ambrose more and it's a zero sum game. Hell, it was reported earlier in the year that Cesaro was depushed and his babyface turn cooled off because they only wanted to push one major guy at a time and that guy was Reigns, and if we like Ambrose more than him, we like Cesaro WAY more than him. That said, I'm a sucker for the "punching the ground" thing. And this:

I think Coleman in the last season has been the best non-Rory Nu Who companion, and frankly I'm not sure who's even close. I have no idea why people are so quick to see her gone.

I never got the whole nomination thing, but people should watch this: Sheamus vs Cesaro <fancam> - May: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkuHlFuNO-s It gets about 20 minutes and if it wasn't the main event of the show, it sure felt like one. It's a cross between WWE Main Event style and sort of a hometown hero babyface spotlight match. They still hit each other as hard as in the PPV match but it's given more room to breathe, which has both pros and cons. I think it has more pros than cons though, especially when you factor in how thoroughly the crowd is in to Sheamus. It gets a little big-move kick-out-y at the end but that's the style and a lot of the matches in this thread have that. There are a few more fancams I intend to watch, including something like three Rollins vs Cena matches from the November Europe tour, but this is one people should see.

Really, what he needs is an Al Pratt gimmick.
