  1. Tonight was the night! Where a show called Raw happened. Highlight was either terrible commentary, Goldust in a suit, the wacky bull, or Heyman and Ryback being great. Much of it came off as filler and the PPV itself wasn't built up very well even if more matches were made for it. After one day, I'm already tired of the Susan G Komen campaign. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/09/raw-9-30-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/ro8jfqvih3jij9sonzwyfgkk5758frz7
  2. Alberto's shirt looks absolutely ridiculous.
  3. I found it odd too - and that's with Moody being a real-life mortician, which is...well not really something I can wrap my mind around actually being or having a passion for. Maybe I need to watch Six Feet Under reruns or something.
  4. Big Guy Big Traps BBIIIIIIGGG SMILLEEE!
  5. Now I must watch the MSG show...after the new England stuff, including some Mid-South! "Miss Linda has serviced Mr. Street's family for generations." Amazing line from Jim Ross.
  6. TNA - in part by subjecting its viewers to Bubba, and that asshole destroying Kong's career in TNA.
  7. This was a fun show and didn't drag on too much. Santino-Slater was ri-goddamn-diculous, but entertaining as all hell. The commentators had a ball with it - it reminded me of Lil Boogey vs. Hornswoggle years ago where JBL was amazed that such goofball shit was occurring inside a ring he sacrificed so much in. Shield 6-man was a bit short, but the main event was about perfect - Miz came off like a bigger star being cheated tonight. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/09/wwe-sd-9-27-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/j0koeig0g0t1i3324gucgqe95s8mypsi
  8. Other highlights -
  9. Wes is only gone from the Aces, not the company. I think. I really hope he's out of the company though - dude brings nothing but unintentional comedy to the show.
  10. She basically dresses like a '70s table cloth. It's amazing.
  11. Not an amazing show, but a really fun one. EY got a chance to shine as a worker for a change, and King looked better and came off like more of a star now than he has before. And his match with Aries over-delivered too. Loved Sabin as a dick heel in his match with Manik using Velvet to his advantage...and then losing. So he's lost two titles matches in a month or so. Loved the stuff after the main event match with Wes since it sets up an awesome face turn for what's left of the Aces. Dixie's closing promo was so great. This angle is unbelievably stupid, but goddamned entertaining. GO HONEY! #teamdixie http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/09/tna-impact-9-26-13.html Screens - thebomb.com! NWO Granny "Bad Guy Laugh - c'mon bro."
  12. Nonsense. THEY'RE REALLY GOING TO CHANGE THIS TIME, YOU'LL SEE! Also, this could be a pretty awesome deal overall if it's done well. I did a fairly long-ish piece on it today - http://venturebeat.com/2013/09/25/how-valves-announcements-have-changed-gaming-forever/
  13. El Santo brainstorming for El Santo vs. Pinball Tornado.
  14. This show looks like a bunch of nothing. Maddox-Vickie had better not actually happen. That sounds worse than Teddy-Bischoff.
  15. It was in WM XIX and Here Comes the Pain, surprisingly. Might've been in Raw 2 as well, I don't remember much about that game beyond the awesome attire editing for in-game guys, Hulk Hogan's head being gigantic, and there being nine billion weapon attack grapples (something that REALLY needs to be back).
  16. Cody Hall is one tall motherfucker.
  17. This was a very long, often boring show. Orton's laugh before his top-rope DDT ruled, but not as much as Show KOing Miz without a second thought. Punk-Heyman was 10 minutes of greatness stretched out to 20 minutes. Main event booking was just God-awful due to the face-heel dynamic being all wrong. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/09/wwe-raw-9-23-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/k2bfptfog38h1q2fvr924d4iushdrbnb
  18. I certainly hope so. Shame there's no taunting, then we could all do DDP's pose before yoga.
  19. Someone should tweet this to Chael so we can hear it after his next fight.
  20. I can't believe they make UnderArmour shirts big enough to fit Nash's gut now.
  21. Whitmer retired, BTW.
  22. This was indeed a show called SmackDown. I loved AJ and the Shield valiantly fighting against all the odds tonight. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/09/sd-9-20-13.html Screens - Yeah, this ain't weird. http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/utcf65ggk2s90zzgdsxc999orb1fk4ue
  23. Of course it's going to head to head with SD. I'll alternate between the two and at least be able to watch the ROH World title match uninterrupted.
