  1. Last week's show was just a show except for the main event. This one followed about that same pattern, only with a contract signing instead of a match. None of the matches really stood out, although at least the one with Zeb's commentary was memorable for that. Stone Cold Paul Wight was amusing and the Cena hype video was hilariously over-the-top. Best stuff definitely involved Zeb and Paul E's coked-up promo style returning. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/10/raw-10-21-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/d2now4rvuxafnw6yl9pzyi1zp2h90wfd
  2. Sure it wasn't just an odd angle of his super-hairy legs?
  3. Scott Hall looks like he's 150 pounds, and holy shit does Cody look gigantic next to his dad. Holy shit - the sight of him WITH HAIR is shocking. And he looks like Fat X-Pac with that gear and headband.
  4. This was such a depressing show to watch. It started like that with the pre-show, and then it just continued with everything under-delivering except for the main event. Magnus-Sting told a fine little story, but it was impossible to care about their little 2 week feud over...I guess Magnus throwing a temper tantrum. I half expect Sting to win a baby bottle match against him on Impact. I'm astonished there was no big surprise at the end other than the recreation of MITB '11's ending. Well, minus it feeling like the start of a new boom period or fans that gave a shit.
  5. I should be getting my copy this week from 2K - looking forward to the Streak mode a lot.
  6. Real good episode. It felt far more important than last week's show, and was better with an awesome opening, great stuff with Show, and an awesome main event. Big E came off like a bigger star in losing here than he did in teh Raw match a couple fo weeks back. It helps that this was given a lot more time and he got in more offense - making it a bit more like Lynn-RVD in ECW versus the 5 minute Heat match. Alberto was tremendous in his promo, and has a big fire lit under him now that he's in a prominent role again. Real Americans-Usos was glorious due to the commentary and Zeb taking wacky bumps for the bull. Shame it undermined the Usos a bit, but it was a lot of fun. Main event ruled the world too. This was exactly what the show needed to fell important, and a show like this every couple of months could do a lot of good to make it seem more like must-see TV. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/10/wwe-sd-10-18-13.html Screens - #bulljob http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/huksxkv6okn595tgkhqkay33ldl45n0m
  7. OK seriously...Andre's boots need a coat of polish 3 years ago here, Ric looks like he went into a time machine and stole a pair of New Foundation boots, while apparently holding the Holy Bible. He's a big fan of the Wooo! Testament.
  8. It's really hard to figure out which is the sleaziest-looking dude in that photo.
  9. This was largely just a show, but the Roode-Angle build was outstanding and Joe-Sabin was an awesome little match. Dixie showing off the Dixie Land fun bucks was hilarious. Great main event promo bit with Bully, and AJ was okay too. Dixie groveling over her fake Dixie money at the end was hilarious. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/10/tna-impact-10-17-13.html Screens - It's all about the Game-eh http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/4zg6fel9xdxjah0053nn4krfyahbet2j
  10. And then Mark Henry could debut and hit him with the WSS.
  11. With ADR Lawyer as his new sidekick.
  12. I'm pretty sure it will have about the highest percentage of actual matches an act has had of anything. They are by far the best group in wrestling over the past ten years.
  13. This was a show. Loved the Shellshock being done out of nowhere, and the hype song for Alberto-Cena. Loved seeing the tag titles in the main event. And the whole match ruled. Great stuff - hopefully it doesn't get a Dusty finish. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/10/wwe-raw-10-14-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/udqww3vt7unmipl22nwo8eymxsl1mvkh
  14. This reveal never gets old - I've got it on one of the SMW DVDs in the Wrestling Gold line.
  15. That is quite the cracked-out promo - even by his usual standards. Tommy's white shirt turning a deep crimson, even on this iffy-looking footage, is amazing.
  16. C'mon hon, don't be cruel to little old Dixie - she's got Sting's future in the palm of her itty-bitty hand.
  17. Rene Young might be one of the most instantly likable Interviewers/presenters/commentators in WWE history. She is easily the best part of the JBL and Cole Show - I was won over by her performance of BAT BRIDGE a couple of months ago. Shame they've yet to make use of her really well on TV.
  18. Or better yet - bring back the Orient Express for a one shot!
  19. Sandow's face turn...sorta thing sure came out of nowhere, but at least gives him some upward mobility. The knee injury coming back was a bit odd since it didn't affect him at all on Raw, which was pointed out there and here. Rhodes-Wyatts was fine, but felt like a Main Event main event instead of an SD one. Flying bulldog from Dustin was easily the best thing on the show. I did like Cody bringing Booker's slingshot sunset flip out of the corner back though. Very skippable show, but worth skimming through for things like wacky signs, Khali ruining the PTPs dance, and Renee's dress matching Goldust's gear. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/10/sd-10-11-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/0es7og1bft8eu7hd2ly0kixby2hx7j27
  20. As per her online show, it's ENTERTAINMENT ICON Goldylocks.
  21. Seems like a show that I'll be glad to be out of town for.
  22. Fun show. God bless EGO, EC 3, Dixie as a heel, Bully, and Brooke's ass. http://jayreviewsthings.blogspot.com/2013/10/tna-impact-10-10-13.html Screens - http://www.imagebam.com/gallery/w4n78cuhb9igjexbl7q3bcww5a587i84
  23. That contract looks a lot better than TNA's on-air ones.
