I always preferred the original "over the shoulder" Tombstone Undertaker used until 1994, but yeah, it took him a while to get it right and he was just murdering jobbers with it at first. Probably should've spent some time before the show working that one out. It took Kane quite a while before he could get it decent as well - I specifically remember him fucking up Ahmed Johnson's neck with it in '97, and I don't think Ahmed ever came back to WWE after that. (Which could be considered a bonus, depending on your opinion of Mr. Wubba Jubba)

I still think they should've put the NXT women's title on Eva at some point - hell, she should've taken it off Bayley. Then Asuka could've nuked her into orbit and would've been babyface forever, rather than the kinda "wtf" reaction they got when Asuka beat Bayley clean.

Alberto was supposed to do an AMA on Reddit in the /r/mma subreddit to promote Combates Americas or whatnot, but - shock of shock - it's been cancelled due to "scheduling conflicts", despite only being scheduled the day before. At least when Matt Riddle noshows, it's to actually work somewhere else.

HHH-Rollins at Mania would've been awesome if they would've edited about five minutes or so out of the middle of it. The same problems happened with HHH's matches with Shawn Michaels - they went for these insanely complex epics but overthought it. Pretty typical in the main event when you get to book your own shit, really. Then again, if they had edited out stuff from Mania maybe it wouldn't have taken six days to complete the show. I still don't think I've fully recovered from that marathon. I've done 75-hour shows and I don't think they took as much out of me as WrestleMania did this year.

I'm trying to get into AC Origins, but I can't fucking stand the revamped combat. I don't find it fun, I just find it frustrating.

Owens and Zayn weren't LOSING to New Day in this whole thing - it was apparently supposed to be a bump and feed for them. Would've been 30 seconds and nobody would've thought anything at the end. Sorry, I'm with WWE on this one.

I'm not really getting the "point" of WWE Universe mode - do you even get cutscenes in the rivalries? Am I doing something wrong besides just making matches?

It's a bit of a shame, because I thought CJ had a good look and was pretty darn good in the ring - he and Billy Suede had an opening Pacific Cup match that was insanely good considering the experience level. But yeah, it went to his head super-quick and he quickly became a headache. The other memory I have of him from the Wrestling With Hunger show was him staying up for four hours creating himself backstage on WrestleMania 2000 on the N64 and then being too tired to work his next shift of matches (the event was a 72-hour marathon with a certain number of wrestlers allowed, as Dave Republic was going for some sort of Guinness record, so if he couldn't work, it meant others had to pick up his slack.)

I seriously doubt WWE is going to fire anyone at this point that could be considered a boon to a promotion - they'll just make them sit out their downsides like they're apparently doing with Neville.

Actually, what led to his shitkickings (which I have no insight into, as they took place post-ECCW) was at the Wrestling with Hunger show - in a three-way match I was refereeing, he gave poor Callos a curbstomp on the floor and gave him a pretty bad concussion. That was pretty much the end of him.

Tried Road to Glory. It immediately put me in a TLC against someone over 30 points higher than me. Couldn't even counter anything. Fuck it. As usual, multiplayer in this game is a waste of time. It takes forever to earn any VC in this game and without it, there's no chance of getting any decent moves or stats in MyPlayer. I beat MyCareer story mode and I'm still below a 60 rating, and still stuck with the same finisher I've had the entire time. What's the point of even bothering?

They did, but literally the only attack that would execute was a basic strike that didn't even seem to do much damage. I had no way to grab a hold. One of me got knocked down at one point but I couldn't go for a pin or submission. Thank god for the countout/draw or they'd presumably still be there.

I like that people are questioning if Jericho and Omega will have a decent match, yet expect Cody and Ibushi to tear it down. Cody's had one good match in New Japan and it was against Okada in Long Beach, and that was only because of the crowd heat of nobody wanting Cody within a mile of the IWGP title.
