Got a $7.25 ticket on SH for Jets-Falcons on the 21st. Love preseason because of the cheap SH tickets.

Think I've come up with a plan: Cats play in Montreal in October so I'm going to catch a red eye Greyhound that will get there at 10AM for a 1PM game. Round trip would cost $82 total so that's very doable. Oskie Wee Wee Oskie Wa Wa!!!

I'm now determined to get to a TiCats game. Thing is I'm entirely dependent on public transportation (so Greyhound or Amtrak/Canada Rail from NYC). Can someone give me some pointers such as nearest train stop or where the Greyhound station is in relation to the stadium? Also info on nearby hotels would be welcome. I'm tempted to go when they play in Montreal or Toronto as they have trains that take you right to both those stadiums.

Funny story from tonight's Cosmos game: one of the fans who got banned from the stadium over incidents at the game vs NYCFC showed up, stood outside the stadium and cheered his team on. Now THAT'S dedication! Also heard rumblings that the team is fed up with Hofstra treating them like crap and will move to MCU Park in Brooklyn starting next season. The playoff semifinal and potential final will be played at MCU so this isn't a surprise.

Got a TiCats hat and t-shirt for roughly $32 American including shipping, YAY WEAK CANADIAN DOLLAR! Going to a game at the Tim is at the top of my bucket list at this point (I actually drove by it on my way through Canada to Buffalo in February and got a picture taken in front of it).

Oh God how could I forget the infamous Extreme Reunion show from 2012? Think that tops just about anything you can come up with. How bad was it? There was a sold out bus trip from NY (60 people), and the promotion offered comps to everyone on the bus to their next show which was in Queens. A grand total of four people (me included) took them up on the offer. The sad part is that show was real good, but only drew 160 people as the damage had been done. -

Don't know if I agree with that, but we'll just agree to disagree. I was at the Devils prospects game on Saturday and Lou was there taking pictures with people and signing autographs. Amazing that 5 days later he's gone. Devil fans I've spoke to are glad he's gone because the feeling was that he cast a shadow over the organization and now Shero can be 100% be in command. There really is a strong feeling there that Lou had lost it. Maybe he has a second wind in him but my gut just says no.

But he didn't. Look at the minutes inferior players like Buddle, Gomez, and Findley got in South Africa while Stu Holden barely got his cleats dirty. Those guys were in form. Buddle was scoring boatloads of goals at the time and Gomez was the first ever American to lead a foreign league in goals. They aren't worse than say Alan Gordon or Wondo for comparison.

Problem is that I really think time has passed Lou by. Last several years in NJ have been ugly and there's a reason he was pushed aside. Time may prove me wrong but this feels like WCW hiring Bill Watts.
