  1. Good getting your take on the game. Hope you enjoy Batman: Arkham City as much. With you wishing other superhero games were even close to the Batman: Arkham series particularly for my second best superhero, Spider-Man. The fighting system and grapple gun could easily be used for Spidey.
  2. NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling 2013, 14th October: NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling has a hard act to follow last year's which was one of the best ever wrestling shows. Match I'm most interested in here is Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi. These are the matches of their feud I've seen: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, The New Beginning 2012. Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Dominion 2012. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, Wrestle Kingdom 7. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, Invasion Attack 2013. Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, G1 Climax 23, Day Eight. I liked The New Beginning 2012 match which was topped by their match at Dominion 2012 (*****). I had it as the second best match in Japan that year. The weakest one for me by some way is the Wrestle Kingdom 7 match. Tanahashi vs. Okada at Invasion Attack 2013 (*****) is still my Match of the Year and the best of the five listed matches. I really liked the draw they had in the G1 Climax 23. I've a feeling Hiroshi Tanahashi regains the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. I'm in the minority who didn't rate Tomohiro Ishii vs. Katsuyori Shibata from the 4th of August this year as much as others did. For me it wasn't even the best match of the G1 Climax Tournament or Ishii's best match in it.
  3. I rewatched the fight twice the day the fight took place to see if my scoring changed. It didn't. 3-2 to Gustafsson with Gustafsson winning rounds one, two and three, As I said earlier in the thread, the divided scoring reminds me of Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard at UFC 125: Resolution.
  4. The Amazing Spider-Man: Coming Home collects The Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 2) #30-35, original numbering #471-476 and was Joseph Michael Straczynski’s debut on the title. Peter Parker becomes a science teacher at his old high school, there’s a character called Ezekiel who has similar powers to Spider-Man and knows his secret identity. Ezekiel asks Peter whether it was the radiation that gave the spider powers or the spider already had the powers before dying from the radiation. This leads to Ezekiel bringing up totems either as the real deal, pretenders or feed on them, Morlun is out to do the latter to Spider-Man. It’s a real battle and the story ends on a shocking conclusion. I first read this story when it was reprinted in a monthly UK magazine called The Astonishing Spider-Man in 2004. I thought it was a great story and one of the best Spider-Man stories I read. In 2012, I decided to buy the hardcopy printed in the Official Marvel Graphic Novels Collection. On a whim, I decided to reread it on Saturday. It’s still a great story. Furthermore after reading a lot more Spider-Man books since the first time I read this story I’d still have it as one of the best ever Spider-Man stories for the story, dialogue, the totemistic element, Spider-Man’s fight with Morlun is a war, the ending and the art.
  5. It's still real to me dammit!!! ; )
  6. Not liking the selection of Batsuits compared to Batman: Arkham City's. Only two I like is the First Appearance and The Long Halloween. I made my list of Batsuits I wanted to see in Batman: Arkham Origins and the only one which might have made it is The New 52 one and it doesn't look good. For me it's having a choice playing the look of your favourite Batman and the Batsuit.
  7. "Hi, I'm Cillian-" THANK YOU YOU'LL HEAR FROM USCongratulations Cillian Murphy, you're our new Batman!*Cillian gets excited*That's what I'd ye saying to you if you weren't that half inch too short. NEXT! Liking the reference!
  8. Season had a very good build to it with the managerial changes and transfer signings, season is matching it so far.
  9. Maybe it's a YMMV type of thing, but I've always found Foley to be an incredibly nice and down to Earth person for someone who has been blasted in the skull with hard objects more than most people have been. Case in point, when Foley came to town recently for a comedy show, a firefighter buddy of mine sent his publicist an email to see if he could have the time to come hang out at their fire station, which he gladly accepted. He ordered pizzas and shot the shit with the fire fighters at that station for a good long while. It's not like there is much else to do in South Bend when it isn't a home game weekend, so I'm sure Foley wasn't missing out on much, but he could have just as easily spent his time at the theater or in his hotel room. I'll support Mick Foley as well. My first introduction to Mick Foley was as Mankind in the WWF and Mankind was one of the first heels I ever liked. Always a fan since that point. Mick Foley showed up for his book signing not far away from where I live in 2003, a place where wrestlers don't usually visit. Foley stayed longer so people didn't leave disappointed, I shook his hand, got the book singed and my picture with him. Foley was great with me and it was one of my favourite days of my life. The photo is framed on my wall.
  10. He was featured more than I thought he would be. Besides the McMahons and DX Members, he talked the most. -He talked about how he wasn't too fond of the idea of HHH and Steph dating at first. -Told HHH that whatever he did wouldn't matter, because people would always link it him dating the Boss' daughter and to not pay attention to them. The rest of it was pretty much he was professional and has good mind for business stuff. I still have to finish it when I get home. I have about 40 minutes left of it. I rented it from Google Play for $3.99, if anyone else wants to check it out. You get 48 hours to watch it before it expires. Thank you. Congratulations go out to them.
  11. I like reading about people's progress in the Batman: Arkham games. What do you think about the game? Have you played Batman: Arkham City?
  12. This is the first time Christopher Drake has composed the music for the Batman: Arkham series. Drake's best work was on Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 and Part 2. I really like the score from both films.
  13. UK fans had shit from UFC for the most part.
  14. Watched the first episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Friday night UK time fittingly called Pilot. I liked it, thought it was a good debut for the most part introducing you to the team. The highlight of the show was Clark Gregg’s return as Agent Phil Coulson. Intrigued to see how the show goes and an explanation for how Coulson returned from events in Avengers Assemble hinted at in this episode.
  15. I use Kaspersky. I have for years. I've never had your problem when renewing it. I'm shit when it comes to computers so I'm really not the best to ask. I'll just guess at with it saying protection enabled when you rebooted it, you'll be fine.
  16. Such a timeless design. Perfect. What did The Undertaker say about Triple H on the documentary from Triple H's DVD? Thanks. Rare seeing The Undertaker talk out of character on WWE.
  17. Here be the card: I'm a NJPW fan but I don't have little interest in this show taking place on the 29th of September, this weekend.
  18. I'm the opposite. Out of the big name independent wrestlers at the time, Low-Ki was always my least favourite. Never a fan of his.
  19. When the fake Batman hit the mayor's window. I've never seen so many people jump, I think the whole theater moved. The Dark Knight is the only film I've seen twice at the cinema. I went with my Dad both times and he jumped both times. Good topic this. Here are mine: Lieutenant Gordon passing the calling card to Batman who turns it over to reveal The Joker's card at the end of Batman Begins. That whole scene was the best in the entire Dark Knight trilogy. Cheering and applause for Gonna Fly Now/the training montage from Rocky Balboa. Opening night for The Dark Knight in IMAX was the best atmosphere out of all the films I've gone to the cinema for. So awesome. Film with the most laughs was Avengers Assemble when Hulk punches Thor off screen and especially Hulk using Loki as a fucking ragdoll. The latter made me laugh probably more than any moment seeing a film at the movies. There are a number of films I wish I watched at the cinema after seeing them at home: Shaun of the Dead is the biggest, the original Bourne trilogy and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
  20. I liked playing as Robin but he was my third choice character ahead of Catwoman but behind Nightwing with Batman on the top spot. There are some Batsuits I know and some I don't. I think the Infinite Earths pack was already announced. Like how you can train as Bruce Wayne in challenge maps, my favourite thing about the above.
