  1. I never knew this. I'm not into Star Wars compared to my other interests. I have watched the six films and probably will this at some point. My best mate fills me in on any Star Wars questions I have as he's a big fan.

  3. Beat me to it today. All 'bout the top three matches for me. Watched all or nearly all the Tanahashi vs. Okada big matches since February 2012. I'd probably have them like this: 1. Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, King of Pro-Wrestling 2013. 2. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, Invasion Attack 2013. 3. Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Dominion 2012. 4. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, Wrestle Kingdom 9. 5. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, The New Beginning 2012. 6. Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, G1 Climax 23, Day Eight. 7. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada, Wrestle Kingdom 7. Easily the worst.

  5. Late to the party but I really enjoyed the Roman Reigns/Vince McMahon segment and Sheamus vs. Roman Reigns, only watched it the once but I came away thinking its one of the best TV matches this year. Vince's presence trying to stop Roman Reigns from winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship so added to the match.
  6. EDIT: Wrong thread.
  7. Three fighters I wanted to win (Cerrone, dos Santos and Michael Johnson) all lost. Shame seeing Cerrone beat so quickly.
  8. Chances are I'll be pimping films based on comic books more than any other as I'm a big fan of them and comic books. Let's start with these two... X-Men: First Class (2011). I didn’t have much interest in X-Men: First Class when it was first announced even though origin tales are a favourite of mine and how the last two X-Men films turned out. The reviews were very positive for the film. I bought X-Men: First Class on DVD and enjoyed it. The best thing about the film was the relationship between Professor X and Magneto, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. Dredd (2012). Dredd is a well done violent comic book action film, I really enjoyed it. The three leads: Karl Urban as Judge Dredd, Olivia Thirlby as Cassandra Anderson and Lena Headley as Ma-Ma were great. The look of the film from the Judges costumes, Lawgiver, Lawmaster, Mega-City One and the special effects deserve praise, so does the soundtrack. The judges’ costumes are one of my favourite ever comic to film translations. One of the few 3D films I watched when it was worth the format. Shame it didn’t perform better at the box office for the sequel to happen.
  9. Sif is. Sif is played by Jamie Alexander. Sif was in both Thor movies and has appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'd like Marvel Studios to do more with her.
  10. This is news to me, you?
  11. C'mon Cowboy! Cerrone fan thanks to the WEC going into the UFC. Hoping the Cowboy does it.
  12. So UFC 194, eh? We’ve had two of the biggest holy shit MMA moments consecutively with Holly Holm beating Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor beats Jose Aldo. The win by McGregor was covered on BBC like they did when he won the Interim UFC Featherweight Championship. The only other time BBC did that was when Ronda Rousey lost to Holly Holm and the aftermath with Rousey’s reactions to the defeat. Still have some to watch.
  13. I'm interested in that too. I really cannot see many (if any) making my list despite one or two making my yearly countdowns, but I haven't really started short listing stuff because there's at least 20 films or so I want to watch for the first time, and probably about the same amount I want to reassess a few years later. I know, for instance, that i want to see how well The Social Network holds up for me. Had an attempt last night, comic book films will be well represented regarding what I said previously. How do you want to do the pimping (ain't easy!), Chaos? This thread, one new one or a thread for every year? Your call as you're good for doing this in the first place.
