  1. Balls had a really good match with Horace the Psychopath at the IWA King of Death Match 2003. It was a barbed wire boards and bats match, considering neither guy worked a "modern" death match style it was a fun old school brawl and really stood out from the usual light tube smashing nonsense.
  2. I loved CZW right up until 2009ish, I dip in and out usually for Best of the Best, ToD and Cage of Death each year, the last I watched was Cage of Death 2013 which was pretty good. It had a great Drew Gulak v Chris Hero match and Chris Dickinson v Davey Richards was pretty good as well. But Nick Gage coming back? Yeesh, the last thing that dude needs is more chair and light tube shots.
  3. Brock confirmed what we pretty much all knew, that he has the ability to manipulate time and space. "The future starts when I say it starts".
  4. I enjoyed Jeri-show, they had some fun matches with some random teams, Batista/Rey, DX, Henry/MVP WCW Jericho was so great though.
  5. Let's not kid ourselves, Borash is making that sweet, sweet British Bootcamp money.
  6. We have to be careful who we vote for, I mean looked what happened to last years winner! Convinced WWE saw the MM result and booked Cesaro to oblivion to troll us. A billion dollar company has nothing better to do right?
  7. He only debuted in WCW in 99-00 which blows my mind, it felt like he had been around forever by the time TNA rolled around.
  8. As long as we get an 'American Male-wolves in London' skit the next time Impact tours Europe, they could turn up in an old timey pub in their American Males gear.
  9. That's why we should all be thankful that crazy old Vince and his out of date knowledge of pop culture is still around. Otherwise we could end up with Pewtiepie presenting Raw from a box in the corner of the screen.
  10. I read somewhere they did, my wife loves the show so I am trying to catch up to where she is with season 1. I've never read the books but may do so now.
  11. I may be late on this, but I'm currently plowing through The Strain, boy did this go from 0 to ridiculous in the quickest time ever.
  12. Dewey Crowe is one of the best lower card heels on TV right now. In terms of Justified male grooming, nothing touches Wynn Duffy's former moustache. God speed you fine piece of facial fuzz.
  13. That's why the won't ever drop TNA as their name as it's kind of difficult to chant Imp-act! Without them wheeling out a little person in a trash can that is.
  14. The latest JBL and Cole show, not entirely sure what I just witnessed, but I'm sure it smelled of cocoa butter. It also needs to be mixed with that comedy-Vince / WBF clip as soon as possible.
  15. Saint Mick shouting out 'Al from Lima, Ohio' and 'Scotty from Orlando' was the highlight of this week. What a terrible Raw, Mizdow excepted.
  16. I for one fully expect Colt and Heyman to be there on night 1.
  17. Of the final 3 Rampage should have won, in my years this side of the pond I've never felt that the UK / Europe could have a promotion of the size of and RoH or TNA but between The last two British Bootcamps, ICW, Progress, WXW etc you could build an excellent super-indy roster of euro workers.
  18. Oh Jesus, this is not news I wanted to hear. Jimmy Del Ray was a charismatic, ass kicking son of a gun. He will be missed. RIP
  19. Just watched the finals matches, all good little TV matches. I've said it before in this thread but TNA and Challenge TV are on to a gold mine with this format, 3 clipped matches highlighting the good stuff combine that with both Borash and Spud being positive and genuinely excited on commentary it comes off as an excellent show. If they used this format to build to a euro tour twice a year would surely be profitable for them, especially if they used local built in feuds (a la Grado/Snow). But then it IS TNA we are talking about so it will no doubt be cancelled after this season.
  20. Having had time to digest, I would say regardless of how Punk does, Dana has pulled off a good deal. I haven't watched a UFC show in what seems like forever (in reality, probably Brocks last night). All I've spoken about with friends today is Punk / UFC and I'm genuinely eager to try and catch up with all the goings on since I last watched.
  21. Remember when Taker showed up at that one UFC and confronted Brock as Brock was leaving the cage, I really hope Hunter goes for a repeat of that.
  22. The guy who shouted "kick his ass sea-bass" after Uso punched out Miz was the highlight of Raw.
  23. Yeah, gutted for Mastiff, guy is a bruiser. "Al, your a dick" might have been line of the series from Grado.
  24. Great listen, Punk really sounded like everyone who has ever been in a job they hated. Ironically, maybe he SHOULD have went to TNA when he left or took random indie dates and worked a lighter schedule instead of coming back, because it seems like his final run has killed any hope of seeing him wrestle again. He does a spot on Triple H impression. Anyone sent a question yet? Can we ask him who has the best punches, Chris Masters or Mark Henry?
