On the off chance that Hook will be in the Ladder match, I wonder if they could pull off a spot with Keith Lee, where Lee does the huge Jessica Biel throw across the ring towards the corner but Hook lands on his feet in the corner and does his disgruntled face pose while leaning on the top turnbuckle?

Many of the same letters, for sure! Anyway, overall this was a very good show, but watching straight after this week's Dynamite, it was a bit much. That being said. I liked everything I saw. Gunther vs Solo Usoa before moving on to Bron should be a worthwhile distraction.

In that case, fuck Excalibur right in the nose!

It sure looked as is something was coming out of the darkness at the end of the promo, there! And I'll tell you this right now, if it's Buddy Matthews and it leads to Buddy vs PAC in the near future, I will cancel WWE Network for a month at Wrestlemania time as a token of my appreciation!

Yeah, not too long ago, I took a rather long hike on Brian Cage and there was no indication of any trouble. (I mean, some backne and gyno obviously, but those were only in places you'd expect them to be, so I wasn't alarmed) And if losing Cody comes with the possibility of getting Buddy Matthews in his place, that is a trade I'm willing to make.

Well, that would make up for the sweat we were about to go without, when Shane got fired. I'd say they'd cover 100% of it. Yup all covered in sweat.

Watching the Thanksgiving Dynamite and while there are plenty of amazing things to see here, it cannot be stated enough that damn I wish there was another way aside from constant needling of one's backside to age as frigging gracefully as Billy Gunn. He looks way better here than in any of his WWE comebacks since 2014. Also, the wonderful leathery tone of his skin is a work of art! Also, after the tag match in question, Sting walked to the ramp and Austin charged at him like a bullet, then Darby intercepted him like a missile out of nowhere, leaving Austin knocked the F out! The way he just kept lying down lifeless while Sting and Allin continued towards the ring was simply amazing!

Speaking of knee injuries, is there any info yet on how badly Jake Atlas was hurt in his match against Adam Cole a while back?
-
Thanks! I was trying to pinpoint that '97 one, but that's what it was! I was thinking maybe that RAW match against Mankind that kinda led to the formation of DX, but yeah, it must have been the Hell in a Cell one!
-
Yeah, I was placing those gears at '92 and '97, respectively. Wouldn't it have made more sense to give tribute to Billy Gunn's '93 and '98 gear instead? Oh well, they were cool outfits all the same.

Anyway, these Young Buck guys seem kind of annoying, but they are really exciting at tag team wrestling. If they stick around for awhile they may become something yet. They may end up making a buck or two, pun very much intended.

I have not been exposed to Trent aside from his short stint as a teacher's pet, but more I see him in AEW the more impressed I am. Looking forward to finally seeing what the Jay White hype is all about! ...I think Trent used to be a Dudebuster, not a Teacher's Pet, but it's not like that hardly matters, at this point.

But you know he will go down fucking fighting!

Hey, aliens routinely abduct and probe folks just for lulz and mutilate cattle in order to see what they look like turned inside-out. I think it's a pretty safe bet that Statlander's childhood wasn't exactly picnic, either. She could have witnessed some messed up stuff, as well! It also seems that inadvertently, Sting (the singer one) finally got his answer to wheter "Russians love their children, too?" Shit, probably not the answer he was hoping for, all this time!
-
And given that he was still getting at least a half-hearted push and was being used on TV just before he left, he could just arrive elsewhere still relevant to viewers. Although, he hasn't really had the chance to wrestle since arriving. But in theory, anyway. Well, there are angles shaping up for things, once he returns.

Yeah, Statlander didn't F around there! But she probably knows that life in general is awful in Russia, if you add to your parents misery by attacking them with chairs and trying to break their arms at every turn, it's off to the orphanage or to the salt mines with you, what did she expect?

Is Trent Barretta trying to make up for lost time taking all these insane head/neck bumps? It's like shit, I've missed like 8 months worth of these fuckers, I need to get in as many as I can in every match? The opening tag was wonderful. Ok, Jay White and More Barretta bumps coming up next week. Donkey Club looked good against Jungle Express, almost stealing one with the belt shot, but eventually, Jungle Boy prevailed. He's a great hero! ...Oh shit, I just caught on a rewatch that Luchasaurus's promo in it's entirety was "aaaassssss", not "aaaaarghhh!"
-
I wouldn't mind that one bit. There are other candidates, for sure, but if they'd go with her, she could have a Taz-like reign of terror enroute to the championship and beyond.
-
Well, Bob Cook, if that's your real name, you can go and fuck your famous left hand!
-
That's hilarious, they shrunk the belt!

What is this I hear about piped-in crowd noise? Shit I was impressed with how much fire and intensity Creeds showed as faces! And how over they were doing it! Fuck! I feel betrayed! Wendy Choo's wrestling and the whole presentation is hilarious. Stupid, but really hilarious. Dolph is NXT, my prayers have been answered! ...No, wait. The exact opposite of my prayers have, for some reason, been answered. The maledictions of people who have something against me must have been answered! Look, if he for some reason started looking and wrestling like 2009 peak Ziggler, I'd have zero problems with it, but the odds of that are pretty much negative. I mean when Tyler Breeze first came back, he started doing reverse ranas after doing 3 minute comedy matches for a couple of years before that. So there IS a chance, but c'mon! Women's Dusty Cup starts in a couple of weeks and the finals look to be Raquel Gonzalez& Cora Jade vs Io & KLR. Creeds vs MSK should be hell of a match! Dunne wanted weapons in a cage so that Tony would stand a chance in their match. Very considerate of him. Don't you dare tell me that L.A. Knight's pops are piped-in as well? Ok, what the hell is Hudson doing? Pissing off Lumis by going after Indi romantically? I mean it's all head games, but last time you lost your hair, and if you are not careful you're about to lose something much worse! Bron had a lapdance before the show, but couldn't say that out loud when Ziggler was roasting him about the glitter on his face. Santos vs Bron should be a good match, but we are waiting for The Man They Call Gunther Now.

I've been lucky that my "back issues" have so far actually been about my glutes being overly tight and for the past couple of years I've been able to be pretty pain-free on that front. 3 heavy workouts this week. Monday was back to the usual routine of extra weight dips, reverse shrugs and now, finally, pull-ups as well. Was able to do 3 sets with 66lbs, getting 5, 4 and 3 respectively. Then 44lbs and 22lbs for one round each. After this, it was the usual stuff with resistance bands. Not the smartest of moves, but I did bench on Tuesday and it was so-so. The pyramid went as follows: 3x132, 3x220, 3×242, 3x264, then 2 sets of 2 with 286 but not a clean rep in sight. Then 3x275, 3x264, 5x253, 7x242, 8x220 and 32x132. After a Wednesday off watching more Full Gear 2021, I did Trapbar tonight before work. It felt heavy as fuck! But this is what I got: 10x140, 10x262, 6x306, 5x372, 6x416 (one of which was without Versas, but the grip then gave out), 3x471, 2x493, 2x504 and 5x416, then shrugs with 306 and 196. Not the best week, still feeling the effects of the flu, but at least I tried going heavy each time.
