  1. The biggest one of them all, hiding in plain sight, but I was thinking about the term itself, not exactly who would fit the bill! But yeah, it certainly DOES happen, that's for sure!
  2. No running for me, neither, obviously, but biking in this cold-ass weather has been a chore, for sure! Good week otherwise, 5 workouts, everything usual. Did record lifts on Deadlift again, with 1x462,5 without Versas, then with them 1x484,5 and 1x490 and 4x512 off the full blocks. Yesterday, I also got 3 reps with 152 on EZ-Bar Preacher Curls on the Scott bench, I haven't done that very many times before.
  3. Also, Zaria! Don't listen to Fatal Influence when they say, everyone just tolerates you! They don't tolerate you! I mean that came out wrong, kinda like you... no, no, what the hell! What I mean to say is, that they are all intimidated by you, because you could rip them all to as many pieces as you feel like, but if you did, there wouldn't be a roster and that's not cool. Well, not everyone, though! Not Kendall Grey! She'd break your ankles and shove them up your ass just so she could see how funny you would look afterwards trying to walk on your knees, so stay away from her! This doesn't mean that I would condone you turning on Sol Ruca at this point, though! Take your frustrations out on the real targets, not your best (only?) friend!
  4. Is a "nepo-in-law-baby" even a thing?
  5. The women's wardrobe issue was handled in the best possible taste! Everyone looked thir character and it mostly didn't seem that awkward. Must have been pretty uncomfortable, unless it was breathing material somehow? Match was terrific, as usual. Nice win for Liv, there's a non zero chance she'd end up facing Raquel, right? Two heartbreaking losses for faces in big time situations was rough, but both matches were really good and Sami vs Drew was the match of the night by the end of it. Bron got screwed big time. When watching, I deduced it could have been by Logan Paul. Haven't watched RAW to see if it was revealed yet? Men's match was alright. Not Powerhouse Hobbs didn't really make a dent. Oba did, though! Last year's shocking winner turned out to be such a flop that they had to go with the biggest star possible again this year. But hey, you win some, you lose some, I guess?
  6. So, it seems that Lexis King is trying to build a nepo baby faction, and this begs the question (or two): Who is Uriah Connors related to? Also, Stacks, who's his daddy or mommy?
  7. Probably stopped getting carded, right? Or is this some Benjamin Button situation where nobody carded you at 12, but for some reason they started at 13 because you suddenly looked younger?
  8. Speaking of Jesus, I saw Mark Briscoe no selling the presence of the imaginary person he loves the most, so you can tell he was offended a lot. And that has nothing to do with the antisemitic aspect of that guy that I also just figured out and not would have without help!
  9. Personally, I think he's awesome, but Jesus Christ, he should obviously win the NA title or TNA title before he gets the NXT title!
  10. I'll buy that, but do you see Starks winning this, or not? And if not, then who? I might go with Hendry, but that might be wishful thinking, not logical prediction.
  11. Sounds like a conspiracy to me!
  12. 15 minutes to go, let's see if you are correct? I have only been able to watch PPV's live when it was NXT UK Takeovers!
  13. Does that make the rest of DX his Funky Bunch?
  14. 10 workouts in the past 11 days. Some new PR's on regular deadlift, with 457 without Versas and 2x479 with Versas. Other stuff has been good and moving along, but no actual records. I did do a 15-minute bicep/tricep combo with a 35 lb dumbell, changing arms after each double set and will probably see if I can go 20 minutes with 39,5 lbs next time? Weight has been pretty stable, around 200 lbs and I still have a whole bunch of gainer left at work, but also already made an order today preparing for this year's cut, since lot of my usual stuff was -20% or -30%, so I figured why not?
  15. This is true. I have about 10% of my current liquidity in a low yield fund and add a very modest sum monthly to it. I am considering moving about a 50% of the rest to a savings account with better yield instead of the regular account where they are at the moment. But that's about as Hardcore I'm willing to go as far as investing goes.
  16. I don't know, but this gives Tony D'Angelo cart blanche to interfere in that ladder match he was specifically told not to by Ava. He can just go "What's Ava gonna do about it?"
  17. Public executions?
  18. Without question! And of course when your offence is as Basic as Billy's was during his prime, he can still do most of his stuff albeit slower. The fact that he still looks that insane at 62 and ISN'T dead from all the stuff he needs to use in order to do so is way more impressive than anything he has done in the ring. That being said, The Smoking Gunns were a much better tag team than they are usually given credit for, especially as faces. A backdrop into a fucking piledriver in '93 was pretty damn aggressive! No wonder they could only do it to the enhancement talent back then! And if I wasn't so busy with CMLL and defending the ROH world title, I find this topic interesting enough to maybe even figure out WHERE in the top 200 body guys exactly would Billy Gunn end up? ...Um, what I meant to say is, I've got nothing going on, I could probably find the time for it! Given that Billy is as tall as he is, his physique at its best (what, two years ago?!?) could actually crack the Top 100!
  19. It was really damn hard to pick a side in the Zaria vs Thea match. I was also very surprised how well Andre Chase did against Kenau Carver. OTM looked so dominant against Dark State that there was no way they were going to win. In the end, just about every tag team in NXT was involved. So do you think D'Angelo will interfere in the ladder match next week after specifically told not to by Ava? So Myles Bourne is the next challenger for Ethan Page? Ok, I'm listening. If Starks just wins the title back next week, I don't know what the hell was the point of him losing it in the first place? I mean he could have cheated his ass off to retain against Femi, but I guess they really wanted Femi vs Cody at SNME?
  20. Kenny vs Rocky Jobbero was a bit weird way to open the show, but it lead to challengers talking and Callis showing up. The running gag of Kenny always making a beeline at Callis is funny, I mean he's bound to catch him at some point, right? Thekla's performance in the losing effort to Statlander is about as good as you're ever going to see without someone actually winning. She almost HAS to win some title after this and probably pretty soon! That led me to wondering who the hell will challenge Stat after this, but then I figured out it will be Marina, unless it's Athena, but the last syllable of the next challenger's name will be "na" either way ! Very nice showing for Ace Austin against Moxley and the tag challengers attacking after the match was foreshadowing which I didn't even catch, other than "yeah, the DR vs DCF feud is escalating". El Clon-o vs Briscoe was indeed very good and the counter out the Jay Driller was awesome, IF it was a counter. If it was just a no-sell like the commentators alluded to, then it would be absolutely stupid but I see him flipping out of the move at the perfect moment just before the impact to avoid it like no-one else before! Ciampa showing up this soon was a complete surprise to the point where I didn't even register "Psycho Killer" obviously being him and kept going "Is that what David Finley was called in NJPW?" when the spotlight wasn't on Ciampa yet. The oomph with which Toni spewed out "I need you to PISS OFF!" to Safir was magnificent! Loved the tag title match, despite the ending and at least it was an emphatic pinfall victory after the Shatter Machine, not a school boy roll-up. Obviously Moxley couldn't let the earlier attack go without a receipt. Okada apologizing to Fletcher for how the CC semi's turned out was about as genuine as you are ever going to get out of him at this point and even Fletcher had to appreciate that. Which is why he had to accept it despite the way it affected Takeshita. Case in point, do you think Okada would ever be able to keep a straight face for that long while apologizing to Takeshita? Never gonna happen! MJF having to face Brody in an eliminator match is fair. Brody gets to kick his ass but if MJF can survive him, he doesn't have to put the title on the line later on. Works for me, I don't see why MJF would be so upset? I mean running away won't help you here but I'm pretty sure he has something sneaky planned by next week! I liked the main event and the spectacle of "bulk vs cut" in the participants but Swerve's "undefeated streak" after returning stops at 1 (and not getting pinned in the 4-way doesn't mean you didn't lose), is not a great look. Still, Kenny vs Andrade was where we were headed 4 months ago so, we're finally going to get that, so good. When they said there's a log jam at the world title scene, they sure weren't kidding. Maybe they should just bring back that "Unified" title that isn't unified anymore so some of the guys can fight over that instead? And in case you were wondering, I'm NOT being serious!
  21. This is exactly the kind of shit that keeps me away from what people actually consider investing instead of just saving!
  22. So nine o'clock in the evening for me. That sounds very doable, although my wife probably will see things differently.
  23. Wow, that's going to be super awkward, but I guess they could have been working overtime with the design crew to make the outfits as character-based as possible? Anyway, what's the start time of the show proper in the UK? That's how I can figure out when the show would start over here if I try to catch it live(ish)?
