  1. You can either be a Bridwell about Continuity, or a Haney. Which one is better remembered?
  2. It'd be funny if they pivoted to Orton/Americano to revive the old "Legend Killer" gimmick, since Americano is a kayfabe Lucha Legend.
  3. Enough with the goddamn resets. You can't please everyone, so just tell good stories without all the lore placation.
  4. McAfee is the most punchable person I have ever come across in wrestling.
  5. Lyra's done an IC title defense on most of the Raws I've watched. Bayley often looks super sloppy in them, it's shocking.
  6. Evans and Parker are both to give the dominant champ an opportunity to lose the title without actually getting pinned.
  7. Well yeah, It's been 40 years and we're tired of it
  8. Yeah we used to air it overnights (syndicated) back when WICD still existed. Now it's just a repeater for WICS. *sigh*
  9. This is me, I was a lapsed fan for nearly 15 years, and Waid's stuff hits exactly where I want to be. None f that depressing Tom King CIA op shit
  10. Chrome at work and Firefox at home
  11. I can't embed *anything* and it makes me very sad https://youtu.be/pCGRgPUP65s?si=ySwsPKwf6JdDJJUA "The link could not be embedded because of an unexpected error: error: undefined."
  12. https://youtu.be/pCGRgPUP65s?si=ySwsPKwf6JdDJJUA Can a mod fix this link? I've waited years for this tee-up
  13. The local Hardee's that Curt mentioned was absolutely hilarious. When the 2009 recession hit, they closed their doors, and a local place opened up in the building called "Windy City Express" at that point the city decided to take that street down to dirt and replace *all* the infrastructure underneath it, which basically closed the road for 23 year, and WCE ends up suing the city for loss of income. Fast forward three years, WCE finds a new place in Urbana and moves there*, vacating the old Hardee's, which sits fallow for a year or so before reopening AS A HARDEE'S. *6 months after WCE moves to their new building on University Ave, Urbana decides (I am not making this up) to take the road down to dirt and replace all the infrastructure, basically closing the road for a year.
  14. The Women's Rumble was both adorable and annoying because they were SO OBVIOUSLY trying to help each other get their spots in. I get trying to help everyone get over, but you gotta be subtle about it.
  15. Best bit of the Men's Rumble was Seth/Punk/Styles setting up an Airplane Slapping Queue stomping Logan Paul in the corner. eta: I tried embedding gifs from three different sites and a youtube clip, nothing worked, so I hope you're up on Gen X/Millenial pop culture.
  16. I was going through the early Observer Rumble reviews and Young Meltzer comes across as the type of Board poster that most people would have on ignore. It's a fluke f timing that his entire empire is based around starting before almost anyone was online.
  17. Looking at the JD video, his arms are above the top of the desk, so the fulcrum of his movement is his back (thus the broken ribs and punctured lung) his head didn't actually hit the table, because they new table top moves *very* easily, so an impact would have moved it out of position. It likely saved his life, if he had been a couple inches lower he probably would have broken his neck and fractured his skull, likely immediately dying.
  18. My absolute favorite part of the entre 3.5 hours of the show was Rocky big timing Hunter in the "instagram live" backstage segment.
  19. Since Wicca became more mainstream, "witch" has become gender neutral.
  20. Hmmm, if we didn't get Max for free from AT&T that would be very tempting, especially since I hate ESPN in general.
  21. That character was played by "Not Appearing in this Movie" it was mentioned that there were like five of them (all dead), which led to a quip by one of the other cameos.
  22. Kermode rightly pointed out that the entire movie is an extended version of its opening sequence, playing around with dead things while ultimately doing little of note. I enjoyed it, but feel like it will lose a lot on repeated viewings. One thing that kinda clicked with me is: I was kinda sad that
  23. It's ok Paul, I saw The First Avenger 16 times at the cinema You can have one of my views
  24. T The Goblin King was Alex Summers' face meltingly hot alternate identity.
