  1. Out of my love for you, we can burn the Verne and switch it to any Bockwinkel & Saito tag. ______ and so this stays on AEW topic, Forbiddin Door - Time Machine edition! Any current AEW wrestler with any wrestlers and from what time? Who do we want to face prime Lyger!?!?!!
  2. I am very excited for this show. I’m praying it has the level of great wrestling that can bring us back our beloved Little Gordphan Annie, @Gordlow. You got this, Tony Khan!
  3. Your forgiveness will be accepted once you complete your penance. Review all available Nick Bockwinkel vs Verne Gagne matches and Jumbo Tsuruta vs Rick Martel matches.
  4. I wish I thought of booking Wembley first. I probably could have sold it out.
  5. Their 101st match is going to be pretty great though.
  6. Give me Danielson vs McGuiness!!!!!!
  7. Absolutely heartbreaking. Dean is a legend and I’m grateful for our conversations. I’m so sorry and I send my condolences to his close friends and family.
  8. I am all on board for AXIZ fun. Kick all the heads.
  9. Sittin on my stoop saying hi to uncomfortable neighbors walking by.
  10. I’ve mainly listened to him with Denise and they had a really fun show where I’d see if there was anything I needed to check out that I missed or of a company I normally don’t watch. I like the idea of bringing in fresh voices. I’m not sure of the specifics of what his day to day would be, but you couldn’t bring someone in better who comes across levelheaded, has good taste and opinions, and an all around kind person to have on the team. I haven’t met him personally but he seems like a good dude and people say he is nice. Good for him and good luck.
  11. Wow. I loved his podcast with Denise Salcedo. I was sad to hear he was stepping away from all his wrestling podcasts but happy he was doing something he wanted in life. Cool to see it’s with AEW!
  12. This match slapped! Good struggle, nice strikes. This plus Trinity, maybe I’m going to become an Impacter! do I need AXIS to watch impact? I’m confused by their Impact Insiders YouTube stuff. Is that full episodes?
  13. It’s the New World Gorder. Sadly I’m joining. Maybe I’m experiencing wrestling apathy but I haven’t been feeling the last few AEW shows. Last time I declared this they won me back with a bunch of bangers so hopefully I can turn face again soon.
  14. Guys, it’s long term booking. Cody doesn’t have enough adversity. So, after losing to Brock he will then lose in the new title match to Seth Rollins or Logan Paul. Then his wife leaves him and takes the dog. Down and out he has no where to turn. He becomes Sad Cody. Think Sad Barron Corbin but more realistic with the neck tattoo of a homeless person. He gets pity from a kind Billionaire that will teach him how to pick himself up by his bootstraps by putting him under his wing and giving him a large sum of money. With the financial wizardry of Bradshaw, Cody becomes a sponsor for large cupped margaritas. Cody, with his manager JBL, wins back the love of his wife through gifts. His catchphrase is “Soooomuch Rita. It’s So-Rita!” Then he wins the New Championship from Seth Rollins or Jake Paul or whoever. Boy, does Cody love those Jumbo sized margaritas. Then at Wrestlemania 40, for all three of the Belts, we have suit wearing overcame adversity Cody vs the Tribal Chief Undisputed Double Champ, Roman Reigns. The match is about to take place. Cody is ready with his sponsored large Margarita cup, saying “It’s sooooooomuch Rita. Jumbo sized.” JBL asks, “what’s in the cup?” Cody says, “Sir, it’s Rita. The Jumbo cup, sir. Jumbo, sir, Rita!” Uh oh, swerve, look at the contract. It’s a triple threat match. Roman vs Cody vs JBL. JBL wins to avenge Stan Hansen’s loss to Jumbo Tsuruta for the first ever AJPW Triple Crown title match and Finishes the Story that has been booked since 1989.
  15. So is this a B belt or a C belt? Does Roman hold A and B or is the combination of the two he has like a weird A+?
  16. Well, if this four year contract is his last (he’s 38 now) then I could see him returning to the podcast game with less awkward currently contracted wrestler moments. A combination of his career and maybe him commentating over classic matches. Sucks that it would be so long from now, but I’d listen. I really liked him and enjoyed the podcast. With his miscarriage story he joined Naomi in wrestlers that make me tear up and now I’ll always cheer for them.
  17. I have so much love for that time period’s American Indy scene. Such great and unique talent. Super Dragon, Necro Butcher, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Mike Quackenbush, Homicide, Steve Corino, Jack Evans, Delirious, Christopher Daniels, etc. All these companies that had their own individual feel as well with CHIKARA, ROH, PWG, CZW, etc. TNA would be TNA but the X-Division was often exciting. Remember when PWG was Scott Lost and Chris Bosh doing silly skits. Excalibur was a goofball. Human Tornado was bitch slapping everyone. It had a South Park feel before ROH as the Indy dream match factory when ROH started going down the tv wrestling path. As for the stuff being uploaded to YouTube, thank God the Necro matches against Samoa Joe and Low Ki were uploaded back then. Really a game changer for me. I was sadly downloading ROH matches and shows off of another forum. I remember downloading one of the CZW Cage of Deaths and thinking it was nuts.
  18. For the longest time it wasn’t online. Recently I was yearning for some good 04-06 Indy violence and I finally saw it posted!!! I love both Necro Butcher and Super Dragon and this match is great.
  19. If that’s the case, going off of yesterday’s uploads….
  20. Arn is very vibrant, out of control, and shocking.
  21. Retroactive armchair booking: Punk should have lost to Hangman first and the challenge again 3 months later at AEW’s WrestleMania, Quake by the Lake. Kingston should still lose to CM Punk and have his heart broken by others on that level. He is Kawada-Kobashi. Be an underdog until he full on man 04 Kobashi’s and spams glorious chops after winning in New York and we all cry. Back to reality: hopefully we don’t get childish shooty call outs if there isn’t an actual payoff to them. I do agree with @Matt D and @Casey. As long as this doesn’t lead to quitting or injured (which is a worry), AEW is better with Punk. Give me Punk in a feud with anyone that can talk and it’ll be good. Starks, Darby, Stokley, Samoa Joe, etc. OR Best of 7 Series against Danielson. The goal is an eventual Elite feud, but if it isn’t going to happen then it isn’t going to happen. Kenny vs Phil as the next HBK vs Hogan would be funny though.
