Johnny Saint is also in the 7 decade club.

I'm generally not a big fan of the "everybody stand around and wait for the dive" spots but this is the exact kind of stupid that I do enjoy.

Those rumors are the price you pay for having exciting young talent instead of aging chuckers.

Zimbra replied to RIPPA's topic in COMPUTERS & GAMES & TECH

-
It only took Giannis 21 minutes to put up 37/9/4 tonight because he is not human. Also, we need to do whatever it takes to get Ja in the All Star game.

Was this one of Sasuke's skull fractures?

Apparently I had done some shit googling before because I found the listing on Smartmark. Fed was the East Cost Wrestling Alliance and it looks like they only promoted a handful of shows between 2001-02, including some co-promotions with PCW. It was owned by someone named Jackie Murray, does that name ring any bells? Anyway, the card was way less star-studded than I remember: East Coast Wrestling Alliance - November 17, 2001 - Weirton, WV 1. Slayer & Crazy Bob vs Sexual Harassment (JT Rogers & Eric Xtasy) 2. Chi Chi Cruz vs The Prophet 3. Troy Lords & Kid Sensation vs Kid Trance & Donnie Bon Jovi 4. Tarzan Taylor w/ Miss Kara vs "Brutal" Bob Evans 5. Supreme Lee Great vs Freak of Nature vs The Protege 6. Station House (Michael Firehouse & Rescue) w/ JJ Hott vs Malakei & Zachary Springate III 7. JT Lightning & Josh Prohibition vs MDog20 & Adam Cage 8. The S.A.T. (Jose & Joel Maximo, Quiet Storm & RED) vs Chris Hamrick, Donnie B & The Backseat Boyz - Falls Count Anywhere West Virginia Street Fight - (this is one of the funniest matches I have ever seen. Must see as its definitely the funniest indy match of the year) 9. Matt Vandal w/ Dylan Dean vs Jimmy Vega$ w/ Big Playa vs "Bad Boy" Brian Anthony

I'm trying to find info on a weird indy show I watched on tape back in the early 2000s, no later than Summer 2002. The notables -It was held in some armory in West Virginia by a fed called ECWA, but it wasn't that ECWA. -They clearly had a bit of a budget as they brought in a bunch of big-at-the-time indy guys. -M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition wrestled, in what I'm pretty sure was one of their first matches outside the midwest. -The main event was an 8-man tag that was Maximos/Red/somebody vs Backseat Boys/Devine Storm that was a parody of the WWE main event schmozz-type brawls of the time Does anyone else recall this or know who put it together? I never heard anything before or after about the fed and I never saw any other tapes of theirs for sale.

I haven't seen an official statement but it's bring reported on Twitter that Buck Henry has died.

Dwight Howard is going to be in the dunk contest? His resurgence this season has been neat but he really doesn't have hops like that anymore.
-
Man, I gotta listen to my own bullshit all day, don't you think I know this? Excellent GIF choice as always.

The Heat got done up by Ian Mahimni and Jordan McCrae so apologies to Dolfan, but:

I appreciate his commitment to only making absolutely dogshit movies. Speaking of dogshit movies, I did not enjoy Rise of the Skywalker very much. -

Never forget that Akiva Goldsman, the writer of Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Lost in Space, and I, Robot, has a goddamned adapted screenplay Oscar because the Oscars are nonsense. -
Absolutely not.

I'm starting to think this Vince guy might not be on the up and up.

Well that ended up being a pretty damn good Christmas day slate.
