I was hoping you'd run that, yeah. I won't be doing the 31 movies in 31 days thing, but I'd absolutely do Halloween Havoc. Yeah, I would too. Hopefully I'll get something better than Critters 2.

My question would be what is the breakddown between 100 film ballots vs 50 film ballots, since that would seem to have the biggest impact.

Yeah, and the films of Shannon Tweed are more accurately described as guilty pleasures, instead of Best of.....

How about an example or two?

Based on my preferences in general, I know in my bones that Crow is the one that I should love, but my heart belongs to Tom Servo. He truely is HUGE.

Duh, I guess I should have realized this was about Horror Films. I'm thinking Giallo Week followed by Hammer Week, and maybe I'll finally watch The Evil Dead films. And its been awhile since I watched Audition , so there is always that.

It's all about Machete Kills.

I'm a Joel guy, my ex is all about Mike Nelson. Pretty sure our views on MST3K were at least a factor in marrying and divorcing twice.

Hell yeah, I still have all of those tapes!

Yeeeeaaaah! I know it's the nature of the beast and all, but from the time I submitted my ballot 'til now, I probably could have crammed another 20 films. Never got around to seeing An Angel at My Table, for example. Now I don't have to stress whether I should try and get a few more in and amend the thing. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Me, I just like watching good, competative fights. I used to get seriously annoyed on the old board, reading some of those threads, to see some idiot post "There was a show. Some dudes fought. It meant nothing in the scheme of things." One of the main reasons I watch UFC is that you get enough fights in a single card that it is damn near imossible to see only bad fights. Unlike a lot of televised boxing cards or ppv's, in this current era. I just find it odd that in a time when sports fans can buy packages to see as many football or baseball games as possible, so-called hard core MMA fans spend so much time being picky about what they watch and complaining about too much.

Count me in that group. Even if I've had to go to extraordinary means to watch them, I've never skipped the prelims because I didn't know the fighters, or the match-ups weren't 'relevant'.

Yikes! Makes me not want to know what Leslie Charleson is looking like these days.

He can finally get that solid gold house he always wanted! Henceforth, eight hundred billion dollars will be known as 'Ben Affleck money'.

Mork and Mindy. -
She wasn't very good on Criminal Intent. Dale Dickey, of Winter's Bone and Spooge's woman fame, fits my bill.

Another good one is always use all your time. The judges always hate when someone is standing around with their thumb up their ass instead of scurrying around finding something else to throw on the plate. And stay away from the truffle oil. That stuff is like the bomb tile in Stratego. Instant death.

If this is only about a Worlds Finest team-up and a possible JLA movie, and not a franchise reboot, I don't see the problem.

I'm a fan of Ali docs. It'll be interesting to see how much actual new ground is covered here. -

I don't have a problem with similar plot points and villians. If I did, I wouldn't have much use with cinema in general. let alone Asian cinema, which specializes in that sort of thing. It is quite another matter to take a recently deceased historical figure and cast him as the protagonist of, basically, two re-imaginings of relatively contemporary films. While I enjoyed them for what they were, the Yen Ips are extremely lazy storytelling. -

Since the first two Yen Ip Mans ripped all of their major plot points from Fearless and Fist of Fury/Fist of Legend, it's not like they have been telling the real story of Ip Man anyway. A guy who died in 1972 is already as much a Robin Hood figure as Wong Fei Hung. And I'm really looking forward to The Grandmaster. -
