  1. Bearded guy wearing sunglasses behind Wade Barrett: Please tell me that is Paul Orndorff.
  2. They just watched Vader destroy Sting. Not the best booking from Watts.
  3. I'm trying to think of B+ players from the 80s and 90s that should be in: The Big Boss Man and Demolition need to go in.
  4. Watching the November 84 episode of TNT. There's an awkward Brutus Beefcake video where he's stripping at some seedy club, wearing his wrestling gear and no boots. Was his original gimmick a male stripper? That would explain a few things.

  6. Not the most exciting inductee but I could see somebody like Jim Johnston going in for musical contributions. How about the Steiners for a tag team?
  7. Anybody else having trouble with the resume playback feature? It's not working for me on PS3, mobile, and PC.
  8. The Bears hired Ryan Pace as their new GM and I have zero expectations.
  9. While there was a lot on the set I didn't really care for, I was introduced to so much stuff that I otherwise would have never discovered, it was totally worth it. I can't wait for the next set. Are we still looking at a top 100 for 80s Portland as the next set?
  10. Prime Time Wrestling #61: Surprised to see Paul Christy versus King Tonga. I was under the impression that Christy had one TNT appearance doing some kind of magic gimmick that was so terrible that he was never brought in. Christy was an old Chicago Amphitheater talent from the early 60s who must have been pushing 50 by 1986. (looked this up, he would have been about 47 at the time)
  11. JL suffers a nasty dislocated elbow taking Malenko's top rope gutbuster on Nitro #17.
  12. Prime Time Wrestling starting to go up. I wish they would start with episode one. Any chance those tapes no longer exist in full?
  13. Jesus Christ, Jim Ross is just burying Luger during the main event: "How does a guy get that big in 30 days?" Ventura did a good job of covering up: "rest."
  14. Everybody needs to watch SuperBrawl II. That crowd was hot for everything. Jesse Ventura takes a quality shot at Luger: "Z-Man went from bodybuilding to wrestling. Everybody knows there's no money in bodybuilding." Touché.
  15. Wasn't the "fan" at Cyberslam WWF jobber Red Tyler?
  16. Besides the fact that I hate every team/town/fan base in this postseason, the other thing I've noticed is that really good pitchers are getting absolutely lit up. It's like these guys started taking their PEDs just last weekend.
  17. Just watched the Clash XVII which is a really fun show with a great tag match and some decent undercard matches. The show is probably most remembered for the Sting/Rude injury angle with Rude winning the U.S. title. I noticed that the Z-Man/Diamond Studd match with the Sting angle in the background was edited out. This is also one of the WCW shows with the proper entrance music edited out (the great Rick Rude theme and the York Foundation theme). Otherwise, one of the better Clashes since the first three or four.
  18. One Man Gang sighting on the latest episode! Did he show up on one of the latest dvd releases?
  19. Looking closely at that Luger magazine cover: who was Bobby Fulcrum?
  20. I think a lot of the hatred is overblown, but then again the guy main evented Starrcade 94 and Summerslam 89 (and technically Wrestlemania IX) thanks to Hogan. If the Beefer is widely considered Hogan's manservant, then what does that make Brian Blair?
  21. Goddamn Thursday night games... Thursday, September 18 Tampa Bay at Atlanta Sunday, September 21 San Diego at Buffalo Tennessee at Cincinnati Baltimore at Cleveland Green Bay at Detroit Indianapolis at Jacksonville Oakland at New England Minnesota at New Orleans Houston at NY Giants Washington at Philadelphia Dallas at St. Louis San Francisco at Arizona Kansas City at Miami Denver at Seattle Pittsburgh at Carolina Monday, September 22 Chicago at New York Jets Tiebreaker #1: Team to score most points during week 3 New England Tiebreaker #2: More receiving yards: Antonio Gate or Sammy Watkins Tiebreaker #3: Russell Wilson combined yards (pass + rush + receiving) vs Denver 219
  22. Neidhart played for the Raiders. George Wells is a stretch although he did have a run in WCCW. Dan Spivey played at Georgia, but I'm not sure he ever played in the pros. Same goes for the West Texas guys, not sure if any of them played in the pros.
