  1. Buff was managed by his mother when he was in wrestling, and now he's married to a woman that shares his mother's name and pimps him out. Derpy doesn't even begin to describe Buff and his...stuff.
  2. My question is who's actually watching it now? I assume there's a lot of people like me who loved it until season 8 or 9 and then slowly let it slip out of their life. I don't know how many younger fans it's picked up. Is it like Raw where people watch it out of habit or to complain?
  3. One of my favorite Simpsons moments is Deputy Dog in Behind the Laughter. "I was soo gay...but I couldn't tell anybody!"
  4. I'm actually more intrigued by the rumored "Peter Parker proving himself to Tony Stark" plot of the next Spider-Man than any other Avengers-related stuff.
  5. It needs to be written the exact same way as No Holds Barred: Vince and Hogan locked in a hotel room for 3 sleepless days with a suitcase of Peruvian blow.
  6. That's a pretty remarkable slate. My heart says Dawn of Justice, but DD Season 2 is almost certainly going to be the most satisfying.
  7. If we ever get a Vince memoir the audio version has to be a recording of him screaming dictation to the poor bastard that has to transcribe it for him.
  8. Yeah it'll probably be the Chaste/Hand/Stick stuff, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of Kingpin subplot given how much D'Onofrio meant to the first season's success.
  9. Rich Cronin seemed like a really cool dude. He was actually sort of tight with Hogan because he produced Brooke's presumably awful album.
  10. I liked it. It was moving so quickly during the first act I was a little worried, but it found it's footing with the character stuff at the safe house. Spader was fun, but we've been spoiled by a lot of great actors doing glib, nuanced villains for some time. Like a lot of recent superhero movies it throws out some ethical questions then wilts in the third act; but again that's a weakness of the medium in general. Even considering all of the moving parts and bridges from other movies, this still felt like a more complete film than the first one.
  11. I thought they did a great job with Karen. She easily could have been an also-ran or love interest. Instead, she got her own story arc that reinforced the larger narrative of people compromising their morals and others' lives in the pursuit of their idea of the right thing.
  12. Everyone involved with Genisys should have gone to Paramount's marketing team and begged them to stop helping.
  13. I have no idea if it was in reaction to Jericho/Steph or not, but Austin's interview with Dixie dropping less than a week later is magnificent.
  14. I'm going to see it tomorrow. The only phase 2 movie I didn't see was Winter Soldier (I know, I know.) Trying to squeeze it in before I go, but the Hydra stuff was more or less spoiled for me and I don't think it'll confuse matters much.
  15. I have no attachment to the comic or expectations, so I can dig it.
  16. Ok, I thought the Wrestlemania Rage concert was an MTV special too, but i just saw that it was USA. Vince screaming at Kane to dance in that is one of my favorite Mr. McMahon moments.
  17. I had no recollection of that until I saw Konnan go over and it came back to me. How did MTV end up running a WCW special? They were heavily into WWF stuff that year, and there's the obvious Viacom synergy.
  18. So they're behind on payroll because their computers are busy loading Encarta? I buy it.
  19. Not movie-related, but I always loved Dusty pulling, "He offered up his innocence and got repaid with scorn," from Dylan.
  20. He probably packed it on for the Richard Jewell movie. It's still frightening how much Hill looks like Chris Penn when he's heavier.
  21. Amell needs a wig. I miss Elias Koteas's beautiful long locks, but probably not as much as he does.
  22. Rusev and Lana have to break up so they can eventually reconcile and marry on a Network Special in a "Match Made in Kremlin."
  23. "You look stupid!(Clap clap clap clap clap clap)"
  24. I think there was always supposed to be a scene of Batman capturing Joker at the beginning of SS, but it was going to be like CCTV footage. Maybe they fleshed it out into a set piece.
