Oh my god oh my god oh my god! YUSSSSSSSSSS! Eastside Mario's Hockey was the fucking best game until it got ridiculously outdated. The only thing I don't like in comparison to the OOTP style games is how hardcoded everything is in SI games.

Ambrose's stagnation goes beyond merely wins and losses. He's become a sanitized, caricature of his original babyface character that got so over so quickly. I don't know if he needs to turn heel in order to get some of the edge back but something needs to happen and soon. As much as they've fucked up Roman's push, Ambrose's decline the past 4-5 months has been nearly as colossal of a disaster. He looked like a million bucks heading into the Hell in a Cell but then they had him become a props joke guy and it was downhill from there. The one reprieve was the snow trek from Philly to Connecticut.

He's getting progressively worse and the fact that the Canucks aren't very good at this stage makes his homerism even more annoying. Back in 2008-2012, it was fine because the team was really good and most of the homer shit wasn't far from the truth. Now? Nah.

Ew, I didn't know this. How does he sleep at night? Oh, right: I mean, they play in Charles Koch Arena. It's not subtle. Hmm, that is certainly not subtle. I pretty much watch whatever I can that's on Canadian TV and it's safe to say we don't get any Missouri Valley Conference games. I'm just starting to go beyond casual Spring watcher of college hoops this year. I was already pulling for ND but now I really want Wichita State to lose (they're not going to, are they?).

Their hockey game was a bit of a letdown but could be decent in a few years if they get to keep making them. They also have an NFL game on the horizon. I would love, love, love a basketball game with historical data like OOTP. And with the insane detail of league structures OOTP has, you could ostensibly have one game that covers both the pros and college (and high school) levels.

The best "ya know..." in wrestling history is from a WWF PPV in '97 when DX are interviewed in the back. Shawn cuts his promo and just as Trips hits us up with a glorious "ya knowwwwww..." the camera cuts back to the crowd and Vince stumbles through his lines. A TRULY WONDERFUL MOMENT IN WWF HISTORY.
