Meanwhile the new Fox Sports 1 is asking I think 23 cents per subscriber. I think that is what they currently get for the Speed channel, which is being re-branded as FS1. I think they want to up it to something like $0.80 per subscriber.

I watched NORTH BY NORTHWEST last night. As I was watching it, I thought that the woman playing Cary Grant's mother doesn't look all that much older than him. I looked them up and saw that she was 8 years older than him. I guess Cary was playing younger than he was in real life.

That actually makes perfect sense - she didn't want a conversation, she wanted the D. She doesn't realte to people at all. Right after she got off, she started looking at gory crime scene pictures, and told the dude to bugger off. Look at how she flipped out when Ruiz gave the receptionist the flowers from "them", or how she reacted when the dude she banged showed up at the station. supreme is talking about the rancher's widow, not the detective.

Yes, I generally watch and enjoy the shows. In Bellator terms, it is a big show for them; 2 title fights and 2 tournament finals.

Isn't it just basically an acceptable version of TMZ? If you are the type of person who cares about Kim & Kanye's baby then you are seen as daft. But caring about a royal baby is socially acceptable.

I've been watching THE X-FILES, and I noticed that Vince Gilligan is listed in the credits as a producer, so I went to look up his credits to see how long he was involved in the show, and saw the spin-off-- THE LONE GUNMEN. I was not aware of this show at all. Was it any good?

Futurama was interesting tonight. Didn't really like the Scooby Doo spoof, since its been done before, but the latter 2 segments were funny. Richard Nixon mad-libbing G.I. Joe was amazing.

I used to watch it every year, but after so many recent champions having eventually testing positive-- it was too much for me. If I can't trust a sporting event, it is pointless.

It doesn't sound to me from those quotes that he is taking full responsibility. "I basically put my trust in someone and I was let down." It sounds like the Barry Bonds defense: that he "unknowingly" took a banned substance.

No, it is an entirely new case and doesn't mention the Rosie Larson case, as far as I remember. But, there are elements of Holder and Linden's characters that are referenced to the first 2 seasons. It's not necessary that you have seen the other seasons, because you can probably pick up what they are talking about from the context, but it helps.

I like how they didn't slap you in the face with what her "condition" is by not naming it. You only really need to know how it manifests itself in relation to her job. She doesn't have the ability for empathy and had to be reminded to make eye contact and also to not change her shirt in the squad room. Is anybody else enjoying this season of The Killing? I think it's the best so far. They are throwing out a lot less red herring suspects/clues.

I just started reading "Wool" by Hugh Howey. At first it was hard to get into the style of the book, but it's going smoother now that I get the gist of what's going on.

The singer sounds very Rush-esque to me.
