TNA Impact 1-16-14 - Genesis of McGullicutty
Spontaneous replied to MGFanJay's topic in FEDS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A BUCK
Plus Roode looks likes a wrestler, something much of the TNA roster lacks. -
I don't think Punk is winning at this point, he will get screwed somehow by Kane/The Authority.
-
If Orton got shot off into space in a glass elevator I might for once agree with Gonzalez.

Do you not believe that he is empowered by the power of the Warrior gods above him, channeling their spirits through him and sending him on his mission to conquer everything in his path?! -
Are we supposed to boo HHH and Stephanie though? They haven't done anything remotely heelish since congratulating Orton at TLC. They were ticked at him last night.

JAN 2014 WRESTLING DISCUSSION REBOOT THREAD

If we get a legends match at Mania I would so prefer it be Roberts-Warrior than Piper-Hogan. The crazy old man promos... Torres choking out Hardy is funny but also sad. Really sad. Wow. -
That was probably the most tepid chase scene of all time. I was hoping Orton had actually GTA'd the car. If Bryan isn't the rumble, we riot. I feel like Batista is just a red herring, Del Rio will eliminate him. Come on guys, believe, Bryan is winning this. The Rhodes are both wrestling a match and in the rumble, I'm sure he'll be in it. Xavier Woods and The Miz are in it.

Langston-Reigns would get a good reaction, I could see them do a Warrior-Hogan showdown with them where they are the only ones left in the ring. That match has to happen at some point this year I would imagine.

Batista, Bryan, Cena, Punk, or Lesnar I can see winning it. If Bryan was not concussed I'd go with him and somehow have Cena win the EC chamber to set up Orton-Bryan-Cena at Wrestlemania. I really think Batista is of more use versus Lesnar or someone else in a non-title match, him winning seems to invalidate everything else leading up to now. The fact that Orton-Cena is hammered home as a match with only pinfalls or submissions winning it makes me think Orton does something to sneak one again. Everything leads up to the triple threat match at Mania, why did Bryan almost beat Orton on Raw and then lay out both him and Cena if not to build to this? Punk-HHH has to be another lock for Mania, HHH keeps ducking Punk or having someone else screw with him.

I cannot see them wanting Angle. How healthy is he? Seems more trouble than he could be worth, sad to say. On a similar note, would they sign Jeff Hardy back? He too seems like someone who is not worth the effort it takes to put up with. He has travel issues now due to his felony conviction but he is fairly popular. Did not think Roode was that old but he could still put in a few good years. Roode, Magnus, Gunner, and maybe Storm or Aries. -

Doesn't the third hour of Raw always get crummy ratings anyways? I thought we settled this months ago? -

It will happen at some point and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to feel that pain. -

But it took so long for him to tap, OMG. People just want Bryan to win the title and get that moment where he stands tall as the show ends. He worked hard to be recognized as the best and the two times he won the belt he was denied the big moment. I cannot see him hold it for very long afterwards. The whole drive behind this is him eventually finally winning it and there being no shenanigans to deny him. -

Oh, it would be awful. If anyone would do it, it'd be Cena. Who knows what two years from now everyone is doing. Reigns could be gone. -

Well now that I look for a official source I cannot find anything beyond heresy, so take my previous words out of the equation. I still say he is going out losing and his last match will be at Wrestlemania, no way Vince lets that go out on anything else. -

I don't know, Taker seems to believe in going out with a loss. Undertaker's last match would happen at a Wrestlemania, there can be no other venue for it. Even if he loses, he still has the streak of 21 straight wins, so it isn't a complete loss. The fact that he has offered it up in the past to Kane and Orton makes me think he'd like it to end. Depending on how Undertaker holds up and if Roman Reigns can take off... he could be the one next year. Honestly, it would mean more than any other one match out there to make someone. -

Mike Tenay needs to turn heel. Heel Don West was stupendous. I can only imagine face, crazy Taz and evil, senile Mike Tenay trying to make sense of TNA. -

What was the first triple threat match in WWF/WCW? How long after Sabu-Funk-Douglas did it happen? -
I just want to warn you all, I made a purchase from them December 31st and I received no gum! Was so disappointed by this development that I have yet to watch my dvds of Unbreakable 2005 or Bound for Glory 2006.

Last week while Kurt posed for a picture with inner city children Al Snow rolled up and said "Kurt there is an emergency, you have to come with me!". Kurt then jumped in and they drove off. This was how they got rid of Angle for their cluster main event last week. -

Doubt it is Bischoff, supposedly baby Bischoff is next out the door. They probably don't even know who it is. -

Screw it, I had to see the spoilers for this nonsense. I am now just waiting out the days until Dixie somehow wins the TNA title and the company just folds up like that haunted house from the first Treehouse of Horror. "It destroyed itself rather than live with us..." Angle doing a moonsault off the cage... Kurt, please save yourself and get retired next by Magnus. Please. -
The NFL offseason has to be the most entertaining offseason in all of sports. No sport has more insanity packed into it's down time than the NFL. I hope Caldwell hires Tressel, I really do. It will make the sports radio so fun to hear. Plus, when they bomb we can a completely new staff in two years and start all over again! Yeah!

Oklahoma vs Boise State was awesome, no one predicted it would be as wild a game as it turned out to be. USC vs Texas does provide better Where Are They Now? vignettes though.
