Some of the more upscale neighborhoods around here are overrun with golf carts. Lots of kids driving them on actual roads. I'm honestly shocked there hasn't been a really tragic accident involving one near me yet.
-
Eh, never mind.

I'd love for like a full hour of a Dynamite to be a Cibernetico. -
Better yet, force the Falcons to take Sanders.
-
I realized today that I never got around to watching the first DEAN~! Rectified that this afternoon by ordering the blu-ray. Can't wait to watch.
-
I legitimately feel bad for Sanders with the whole prank call thing. But, I also keep picturing it being like the scene in Anchorman where they prank call Veronica from Ron's office, and that makes me laugh.

Hulk has already tried the religion scam. He's been in "how far they've fallen" scene for a few years now.

WRESTLING ON THE INTERNET NOT FROM THE NOW

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE8Obx3V6v8&t=1866s Eddie and Phil talk about this match on their Way of the Blade episode. It's every bit as grimy, violent, and uncomfortable as they describe. Great stuff! -
Ok, I finally got to listen to this. Fucking breath of fresh air to hear someone talking about how awesome violent, bloody pro wrestling is. No talk about ratings or sponsors or streaming numbers or hand wringing about the blood or any of that shit. Just a couple people geeking out over seeing something they think is awesome. That was the appeal of DVDVR to me. Not to shake my fist at the clouds, but I miss that.

I watch for the articles.

Watched A Different Man this weekend. I'm hoping Marvel decides to kill of The Winter Soldier soon so we can get Stan in more stuff like this. He was really incredible.
-
Ian gets shit on (justifiably) for his business practices, but there was a period around ‘04-‘08 or so that IWA MS was just putting out an insane amount of great matches. That Hero/Kingston match is in the top tier of them. I’d love to see them get to have one more match with each other.
-
I was on the opposite end of that last weekend. I was worried my son would want to watch WM, and I’d have to sit through that shit or feel bad for him watching it alone. Luckily, he saw a commercial for it and said, “Ugh, that looks bad.”
-
Oh, no doubt. I’m sure he’d have a talk with them beforehand that that kind of thing was totally off limits. Just stick to the racist stuff, guys! That stuff is funny. Stuff that might hurt our ongoing sexual assault lawsuit is just tasteless.
-
And if Starks and May and The Lucha Bros and Vaquer work really hard, hopefully next year they can be lucky enough to have their new employer pay a hack comedian to say racist/sexist things about them in front of a bunch of people!

I kind of want to see Sanders go totally undrafted just to see if Kiper cries on-air.
-
Caught up on The Studio this week and have been loving it. The episode about shooting a oner that is itself a oner is amazing.
-
If Sanders is still around at 15, the Falcons have the chance to do something really hilarious.
-
Disappointed that this isn't Predator vs. Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek.
-
Let it go. It just hit me. You’re Frank Grimes. He’s Homer Simpson and you’re Grimey.
-
You're the fucking weirdo who has to comment on all his shit. At least he owns his shit. If you don't like it, hide him and move on. (And yeah, I know that last part's hypocritical given that I'm replying to someone I have hidden, but whatever, I'm in a bad mood.)
-
Well, the whole point of my post was pointing out that you’re a dick, so I needed to leave it in there.
-
Oh, I checked out hard on WWE a while back. I'm not watching the show, wasn't going to long before his involvement was mentioned. I was just giving my thoughts on the matter.
-
I want to preface this with, I'm only speaking for myself and how I feel about the matter. I don't expect anyone else to feel the same way, and I'm not presenting what I'm saying as fact. Just my feelings on the matter. That said, I feel like it's different with WM in that with the McMahon family ties to the administration, it's more of an endorsement to have him there. Him being at the Super Bowl or National Championship game doesn't give me the indication that it equals the NFL or NCAA endorsing him, he's just there. It'll really depend on how he's presented. If he's in the stands and they just say he's there, that's one thing. If they make a big to-do of it, that's another.
-
People might boo or something, but they'll keep watching. It doesn't matter at this point. If you're still on-board with them, I don't think that'll be a deal breaker.
