Even better, it's the same pics of the Bucks, just moved around and reversed. I think Matt is right that this will probably feel rushed with so many segments to get through. My hope is that the non-wrestling segments are kept tight, but I don't think that'll happen unfortunately.

You really can't go wrong with any Danielson ROH title defense. Dude was on fire.

I did re-direct his attention during the flayed bodies scene, at least. When my daughter was younger, my mother-in-law thought that it was awful that I watched the Marvel movies with her. I mean, they're super-tame and nothing even bothered her in those, but my nephew (who's about the same age as my daughter) got scared in one, so they must be scary to every kid since my in-laws use him for the baseline of all things. Sorry, that's a rant for another time. Anyway, one day my daughter is chilling on her iPad watching some videos. All of a sudden, she comes in the room just bawling, so upset with something she'd watched. It was Taylor Swift's Bad Blood video. I guess in that video, a bunch of Taylor's famous friends get "killed" in pretty violent ways. I felt a little vindicated since none of the stuff I'd showed her upset her.

Had my son at soccer practice this weekend. Kid on his team comments on a dad's Star Wars t-shirt. Kid's mom says he knows the characters, but hasn't seen the movies because they're not sure he's "ready for them". Meanwhile, I'm thinking of how my son and I watched Bloodsport and Predator last weekend.

Same. The McGuinness stuff was great, too, but may be hard to watch now with all the unprotected head stuff.

For the record, I have not denied that I may be one of the mystery partners, so add me to the list.

So, here’s when we got to the arena yesterday and I told Harrison we were there for AEW: They also taped Rampage and ROH, so we didn’t get out of there until 1 am. He went STRONG the whole time. Screamed his little head off for Darby Allin. I’m surprised he didn’t come through on tv even though we weren’t exactly close. You can see him when Jay White is starting his post-match interview and he says something about “Lexington Gold Members”. Really small, you can see a little figure with his hands in the air. Once Collision was over, quite a few people left. We moved down to the floor, so Har was front row for a lot of Rampage. It’ll be interesting to see if we can see and hear him on Friday. I’m exhausted today. But it was all worth it for this:

Footage from Cash’s incident has been released:
-
I heard it was CM Punk that sent Gordlow home.

Jon Wurster of The Mountain Goats (and formerly of Superchunk, Bob Mould’s band and The Best Show) posted the clip of Ian talking about New Pornographers on Instagram. Ian commented on the post saying he’d work in a Mountain Goats reference. Wurster responded that they do have quite a few songs about pro wrestling.

And it probably wasn't acceptable for quite a while before the sports team changed the name. They're not exactly quick about doing that.

This is it. Shut it down. We're not going to do better than this.

Moving Punk into Wheeler's spot is infinitely more interesting than anyone else, that's for sure. Storyline-wise, it opens up some options, too. You can have Punk accept Dax's request to fill-in this week, leading to Joe getting pissed and attacking Punk again, making him not 100% for All In. And, if that all happens, you have the added intrigue of Punk working with the Bucks and how that's going to work out. Do they cooperate, etc.? Then, have the Bucks take the titles, and (if Cash's stuff gets sorted out) FTR have a legit gripe for a rematch. Also, you can move Joe/Punk to All Out which would be fun in front of a Chicago crowd. I don't want to minimize whatever is happening with Cash. It doesn't look great, but we know so little right now. I'm just wildly speculating on what could be interesting, strictly on-air wrestling-wise, in light of this news.

One thing I loved about Episode 3:
-
You have given me the mental image of Jacques skanking down to the ring, and for that I am eternally thankful to you.

Didn’t Shotgun have a pretty awesome Stone Cold vs Terry Funk match?
-
I just want some more Collision matches announced!!! I’m assuming it’s somehow CM Punk’s fault they haven’t announced them yet.
-
Yeah, I tried to run through the logic of the Callis/Jericho thing in my head. Came to the same conclusion as you. It somehow made both Jericho and Callis look dumb. Like, maybe if that decapitation painting was a second painting behind another one with them as friends, it would've made a little more sense. Like Callis had planned for Jericho saying yes or no? Really, the painting just needs to go. Jericho says thanks, but no, then Callis gets pissed and Jericho gets beat down. But why is Osprey there? Jericho tells Callis no last week. Callis gets pissed at him and slapped around by Jericho. This week, Callis has Osprey (who owes him a favor from the Omega match) beat down Jericho, then All In match is made. I don't know. I'm literally thinking this out in real time as I type.

This is the worst thing ever.* *It's possible I'm exaggerating, but I cannot stress how much I hate this.

I get what you're saying. On paper, Evans was everything they look for. She's just a great example of someone who doesn't have "it".
-
Joker Sting is way more Jim Carrey circa Ace Ventura than any Joker ever.

This was an odd show. I think @Matt D nailed it. They had to rush through so much stuff, nothing got to stick. The Texas Chainsaw match definitely would've been better served as a cinematic match. Also probably would've been better with someone else in Jeff Hardy's place. Him just wandering around at the start chanting "Hardy!" was awkward as hell. The Darby/Wayne tag and the Bucks/Gunns tag were fine, but needed more time to breathe. They both felt rushed. Britt/Bunny's result was never really in doubt, so it was just there. As usual, the highlight of the show was Orange Cassidy. The dude has just achieved near perfection in his matches. He just always seems to do the right thing in the situation. He had that moment where Yuta had gained control on the floor, but Orange caught him with the Beach Break (I think) as he came into the ring. It was a sort of "fighting spirit" moment, but Orange sold it perfectly. It wasn't a thing where he stopped selling to get his move in. I really bought into it being the finish when Wheeler got the seat belt locked in. Great near-fall. Also, the finish with him holding his own pants was really creative and brilliant. Has there ever been such a great climb from "how the hell is this guy's gimmick going to work on a weekly tv show?" to "this guy is the best wrestler in the company" before? And goddamn it! Where are my Collision matches?!!?!? I'm kind of wondering if we don't get FTR/Bucks vs. BC Gold in an 8-man tag. I need to know, man!

Evans was never very good. I think that's the main issue.

I'm really excited for the vinyl reissue out this Friday. It'll be cool to finally have all of the songs from the movie on there.

He said weird bad opinions. Yours are just weird.
